From start to finish our experience with Masters Roofing, and Andrew, was exceptional. Nine days from our first contact until the roof was up. Fantastic! We met with Andrew at the showroom and he visually showed my wife and I the problems with our roof. He guided us through every aspect of replacing our roof, very informative about pros and cons of each option. We finally opted for the step up from base versions of roofing paper and roof vents, all within our price range. I really love the vents and pipes, not only do they look great, but they also prevent some of the problems we had with leaking in our old roofing from becoming a problem again. We have been through several storms and high winds with the roof still looking like new. The crew replaced wood rot, added flashing that complimented to roof color, and did it in one day. I had a full roof replaced at my mother’s home on 4/7 by Masters Roofing. Up until a certain point, everything was proceeding as expected and was satisfied with the communications and coordination. However, things took an unexpected turn when I received a phone call from the owner about a minor paint request as part of the fascia replacement. Prior to the call, I worked exclusively with the foreman or salesperson to address any scheduling or project concerns. For this specific paint issue, the foreman had agreed to take care of my request but only after the roof installation was completed. After exchanging text messages, the work was scheduled for 4/16, but no one showed up that day nor did I receive any communications explaining the reason for the no-show. The next morning, the owner contacted me directly and, for 35 minutes, berated and lectured me about various unrelated matters not to mention throwing in additional costs. The unexpected cost didn’t bother me in the whole scheme of things but the conversation turning unprofessional was extremely disappointing especially for such a minor ask. Later that afternoon, I reached out to the salesperson and cancelled any additional work I planned with the company. Even after that, I never received a follow up call from the company or owner regarding my changes or even a simple apology. For me personally, I couldn’t in good conscience recommend them to my friends and family especially with so many other options in our area. The rating is not based on the technical merits of their roofing work or crew but the holistic experience with the company and owner. I hope this feedback provides improvements to their communications and a better experience for their next customer.

Master's Roofing is highly recommended if you need various home repairs completed in a professional and cost effective manner. They did a fairly large project for our family member that included rebuilding one wall of a two story workshop which also included replacing siding and replacing decking and two stories of decking stairs. They also replaced a wood fence and gate. The completed work was really superior to what was expected and all done at a reasonable cost. The cleanup was also perfect every day.

We then enlisted Master's Roofing to help us with some repairs. Project Manager Ed Hill was prompt, professional and knowledgeable about the repairs we needed completed. He pulled in professionals for the specific repairs insuring that the work would be done right. Master's Roofing reroofed our screen porch by covering the awning with TPO making it watertight. It is now a pleasure to sit outside and enjoy the porch in the rain! They repaired areas of rotten wood around our front windows and door and left the areas looking perfect compared to what it was originally! They also replaced our wood fence, adjusted a leaking gutter, and rehung our front wood and screen doors.

The workers and craftsmen were respectful of our home and were courteous, quiet and cleaned up everything every day. I felt safe having Master's Roofing perform the work and we really are thrilled with the completed projects. We have since referred them to another family member to have various projects completed. This company recently replaced my roof and they did it in one day. After getting 5 estimates, among them two people who came into our home and did a car salesman pitch, we chose Masters Roofing. No money changed hands until the job was finished. They brought a crew of people to my home at 6am and were finished by 5pm that day. It was a complete tear off and replacement and they were extremely efficient at their jobs. They did exactly what they said they would do and did it very well. They protected our home from falling debris and cleaned and removed everything before they left. We have a two story house in Germantown, TN. They’re experts at what they do.

We had our roof replaced this past summer by Masters and am very help with the job done. It started well and ended well. I would highly recommend Andrew as point of contact salesman. He has big interest in customer service, a great personality and easily available. Was on site for both days of the job and helped us thru the insurance process. I generally only write reviews when I receive a product or service which is extraordinarily bad or extraordinarily good. Masters Roofing was extraordinarily good!
Ed Hill was my primary contact from Masters Roofing. At our initial meeting I was impressed by his knowledge of the roofing products and process, thoroughness of his explanations of each step of the job, his detailing of his company's responsibilities as well as mine, and my perception of his honest and integrity. I signed the contract at that first meeting.
My house is a faux English Tudor style with many steep roof angles and valleys. Jesus and his crew arrived before sunrise on the scheduled day. They had removed most of the old roof before midday. The new shingles I had picked out (5 pallets worth) arrived and the delivery truck left. A short time later the crew were about to unpackage the first bundle when I asked Ed if I could open a package and look at the shingles. My jawed dropped. Although the shingles were the correctly named color I had picked out from the samples, these appeared to me to be shades lighter in color. I could not envision these shingles on my house. Ed and I discussed my concerns and he immediately began to work towards a solution that would satisfy me. We picked out a new color of shingle from the samples. He called Chad, the project manager, (on speakerphone so I was a part of the conversation) to inquire if the new shingles could be found and swapped out. For the next 30 minutes Chad negotiated the location and swap out of the shingles and within 2 hours they were delivered (the perfect color)! Jesus and his crew worked well after sundown and were back on the job early the next day. The new roof was completely installed by the end of day two. When the crew finished their cleanup there was virtually no trace of their ever being there. Ed returned on day 3 to do his own final inspection and cleanup of any rouge nails. He was the first and last man on the job.
The final price was exactly as quoted, even though a few deck repairs had been made AND the shingles swapped out. I would absolutely recommend Masters Roofing and use them in the future.

And also, I went in my attic for the first time since my roof was replaced and there is a big difference as far as the climate goes. Masters Roofing replaced our roof about 4 years ago and did a great job. I called them about dormer repair, flashing replacement and wood facia repair. Several crews skilled with roofing, flashing, carpentry and painting arrived and completed all the work in two days. When the day came, his crews showed up on time and were extremely professional. They were able to complete the job in a single day, with minimal impact to our daily life. I called for an estimate. They refer ur call out to someone from their company that works in ur area. They scheduled me very quickly. They were very polite. The 2nd guy was very professional when scheduling my appointment. I ended up calling them back to cancel as the blessing came a different route.

It was a lot easier than I expected it to be! The crew replaced my entire roof within one day, including clean-up. This kind of customer service is hard to find these days. The process of getting our roof replaced was very easy. They were very professional from start to finish. We had a leak from a storm, and they were here the very next day to patch it. From coming to the house, starting the claim with insurance, picking out the shingles, to the install it was all very seamless and stress free.

I was asked to leave a review for the roof replacement that was done on my home in July 2023. I chose Masters roofing partially because of the good reviews and the BBB rating they have. I was hoping for a five star experience like many others have posted but unfortunately it didn’t go quite that well. I had Bill Bowlin as the sales representative and he was a pleasure to deal with. The crew showed up on time and quickly went to work removing the old roof. They never installed the guards that they brought with them to protect the gutters, by the time I came out and noticed the gutters were full of shingles, bending and about to fall off. I stopped the crew and had them install the guards.
A roof vent I had ordered through Masters was on the work agreement and Bill had listed the area that the vent was to be installed. While the roof was going on I asked the crew supervisor when they were going to install that vent. He proceeded to show me where he was going to place it, which was nowhere near it needed to be. If I had not been out asking questions the vent would have been installed in the wrong spot, I needed this for an area that has no way to vent the excess heat in the summer.
I wasn’t too happy with the drip edge and flashing installation as areas on the front of the house look a little sloppy. They pried the bottom siding board out to put the flashing behind and pulled the nails through the siding in the process. Another area had a piece of flashing installed too low, so another piece was cut and installed half way over it with the cut line showing.
There is an area of the roof where the overlap of the shingles are at a different spacing than the rest, and another area that they were installing in the dark where the rows were not kept straight. Since this are architectural shingles I doubt many other people besides myself would even notice.
There were several sheets of sheeting replaced due to the roof leaking. I was not charged for this to compensate for the damage to the gutters.
The roof looks good from the street. It is definitely better than the original roof the was on the house ( builder’s roofer never bothered to install the underlayment). They did a good job cleaning up when the job was finished.
I would rated my experience at three and half stars, but you can’t do half stars. I haven’t had any experience with any other roofing companies to actually compare Masters to, just what I’ve seen with other houses having roofs replaced.

The crew did an excellent job with the roof replacement and cleanup. They crew worked well past sunset and left my property cleaner than it was when they arrived. Very impressed!

Master’s roofing did a wonderful job taking care of us. Their representative, Ed Hill, is very responsive. Not only did he ensure we got the work done, but he followed up to be sure we are satisfied. They were prompt, professional, and left everything clean and in order. Before the repairman left, he showed me pictures of the before and after repair to make sure I was satisfied and did not have any issues or questions. I highly recommend Ed and Master’s roofing.

We discovered a leak in our pantry and called Masters Roofing company for a quote. They walked us through the process and helped us select the proper way to fix the problem. We scheduled the day, and they came and re-roofed our home. They arrived early in the morning and over 14 hours with a crew of 8 completed the work from setup to tear off, repair to damage sheathing, flashing, drip edge, and clean-up in one day. An amazing feat! The clean-up was perfect. They even used magnets to pick up all the nails at the end.

Timely, professional, and least disruption possible to complete this difficult process. They are a reliable company with good people and I recommend them to anyone needing roof work.

Ed Hill and Masters Roofing are the best! I just bought a house in Millington and Ed gave me a bid on a Tuesday and I had a new roof on Thursday. They did not leave a SPECK of trash or nails. They even swept out my carport! I am getting gutters installed next!

I was in need of a new roof due to hail and wind damage and I am very pleased with Masters Roofing. Andrew made the entire process very simple, by working directly with my insurance company, and keeping me informed throughout the process. The work was done in only a couple of days, and the crew did a great job of protecting my landscaping as well as keeping debris out of the pool. I highly recommend Masters Roofing!

Masters Roofing did an excellent job putting a new roof on our house from beginning to the end. Kudos to Mr. Ron Itnyre Jr who took care of the paperwork and made us comfortable with planning and decision making. He was always courteous and professional, and more importantly we felt he was honest to us, very passionate with his work. When he said he's available 24 hours in case of any issues, he really meant it, although we never really bothered him at midnight or daybreak, but we knew because he would respond right away when we leave him a message. The number of days to finish our roof was delayed due to unforeseen crisis, but we felt at ease knowing that Ron is very dependable.

We used this company for old skylight replacement as one was leaking. From the initial inquiry until completion of the job, the communication was fantastic. No payment was requested until the work was completely finished. By chance, we had heavy rain the night the skylights were installed and there was no leakage whatsoever. We are pleased with the work done.

Update: I’m just seeing a response from the company, but this proves my point. You can respond to a negative review but no apology was given. The change of product was not communicated to the paying customer when the service was rendered. Maybe the representative should clarify that when setting up services. I am not a roofer so I don’t know the difference.….I stand on my review below.
I was so excited to get my new roof installed by Master Roofing. Our rep was Ed, on the phone he was so informative & had a quick response. BUT that was short lived, our roof was a one day job. Workers came out did the work….this is where it gets crazy; on the back end of our home for some reason they decided to put another type of roofing than the front without consulting with myself or my husband. At first Ed said the guys ran out of material and decided to put commercial roofing on our home, which looking like a big white box on top of our all brown roof. It was a huge eye sore! When my husband & I disapproved Ed said he and the field manager decided instead of doing the entire roof in residential roofing they wanted to “up grade” us… we let him know that’s not what we asked for give us what we ordered, Ed then said he no longer wants to talk about this and walked away from us. We overheard the manager speaking poorly about us because we were checking on the roofing job, they weren’t expecting my husband to get on the roof and notice the plastic they put on the rood not nailed down properly, left nails in our yard and drive-way.

Eventually they came back to correctly finish the job.

Now if you want a nice roof with poor communication, disrespect and maybe get something you didn’t request…..Call Master Roofing!
