When Connor Hertz rang my door bell, I was far more interested in getting my dogs under control than listening to what he had to say. Within a matter of minutes, I realized that his message was one I needed to hear and maybe listening to him was a good idea.
His knowledge and understanding of what needed to be done to our roof was spectacular. More than that, his friendly demeanor was refreshing especially in these days where customer service has fallen to the wayside. In fact, everyone I came in contact with from Genesis was first rate.
Work started the day promised and I was impressed by the diligence of the crew. When they finished, the yard was cleaned beyond my satisfaction and the roof looked great.

"Update 4/29/2025. Currently now in litigation. Lawsuit filed by Genesis against me due to failure to pay a final invoice that I have not received approved insurance funds for, or received further explanation from Genesis or their attorneys to justify the drastically increased charges on the final invoice. I would no longer recommend Genesis to anyone. Will add more once litigation is final. End update" Would definitely recommend Genesis. Jon Stephens and his crew have handled all of our tornado repairs quickly and professionally. Very friendly staff. Great communication, always keeping us up to date. Works well with insurance companies, making sure everything that needs to be covered is covered. They handled all of the paperwork and insurance supplements. Great service

This is a great company to work with! Joshua Williams has really helped me through the process to get my home repaired. He has been present every step of the process and continues to ensure that I am receiving the best customer service and being taken care of. Progressive has given me hard time with my claim, I would suggest no one use them for homeowners insurance. There is a battle in every step to go through the claims process and they do not want to pay for the repairs on your home!

Genesis arrived on time They put a superior roof on my home. Josh Williams made the process seamless. He followed through on start date, walk through punch list the next morning and showed up the next day on Easter weekend to insure the list was corrected. It was a lucky day for me when Steven came by our house after talking with my neighbor. Our new roof looks great and was completed in a timely manner. The work crew was very polite and completely cleaned up when they were done. More importantly, Steve and the whole Genesis team dealt with our insurance company, which was no easy task at times, and I barely lifted a finger. I would highly recommend Steven and Genesis Exteriors. I also hear that he is a great disc golf player!

The roofing team did a good job. No clean up crew was there that day so the mess stayed until sunset. The wife was upset about that. I cleaned up to get into the house easier & back patio to paw punctures . Picked up loose 1" Plastic roof nails that week & seems like once a week since . There was quite a bit of product left behind that was not needed . I moved it out of the driveway once the weekend came & the salesman took it back a few weeks later .

Jon helped us replace the roof after hail damage. They spoke with the insurance company, and made the whole process very easy.

Chad worked with my insurance adjuster and insurance company to ensure I received what was needed to cover the expense of replacing my roof and gutters from hail and wind damage. They're a great team. I worked with Jon, him and another one of his team members came to my house, they sat down with me and went over every single detail to help me better understand what the insurance was going to cover. They're also very helpful with the communication with the insurance agent.They use quality materials and it's covered by the manufacturer warranty. Overall they're great to work with.
