I have used their roll off dumpsters a few times at my projects. Yesterday they picked up one of them and destroyed my gate and two fence panels. They claimed that fence and gate weren’t there when they delivered the dumpster. After showing them photos proving that the fence and gate were installed before dumpster delivery (fence & gate installed 6/18, dumpster delivered 6/27), they initially said they will pay for the repairs and said they will mail a check and apologized for the inconvenience. Now they’ve changed their mind and said that it’s my fault that the dumpster was too close to the fence. If that is the case, then why did they delivere the dumpster in the first place?!
It’s absolutely disgusting that they can get away with something like this and take no resposibility whatsoever. I will not waste my time to pursue this any further - but please be advised that when they make a mistake they will take no responsibility for the damage they cause.
The repair costs $700 and a day of phone calls and hassle which would have not happened if they sent an experienced driver for pickup.
It’s a shame, really. Too bad they suffer no repercussions and I’m sure they’ll do it to other companies as well.
