I had met with Long Home Roofing Salesman 3/21/2025. I had been approved for a loan through them. He said I had to give him $2,000 (my home is a small Cape Style) even though I was approved for the loan. I had many texts with him because when I called to find out when the dumpster was schedule and job I was told someone would call me back...no one called me back. April 16th Salesman said Anthony was trying to reach me...well they have my home #, cell# and email...no one tried to reach me. April 22 I text the Saleman saying no one has contacted me yet. So I called them to see what updated they had for me...again not one called me back. April 23rd I rec'd the Permit invoice - Rep said to forward it to them. A day later I did receive a call from saying they had the permit. This was my last correspondence with anyone from Long Home Roofing. May 21 - 8 weeks after signing a contract with them and giving them $ 2,000 I called to ask for my money back. I was told someone would call me back..and yes I did receive a bunch of returned calls! Amazing once I ask for my deposit everyone was calling me. My last conversation was with a guy who said I am not getting my money back!! I said you voided this contract because your company ignored my calls. I understand the contract said estimated 2-4 but 8 weeks later with no correspondence..and I am sure if I didn't call for my refund no one would have called me to this day. I need a new Roof and I just met with DiGiogio..they were thousands less for the same job, I was approved for a loan, No deposit required, was told this would be done end of Aug and they will keep in touch. I already received correspondence from them...they are also going to install two outside doors with screen doors for not much more than what Long Home wanted for the roof job. Go to a local known business in your area for home repairs.

He was polite and informative, and was amenable to our financial situation and answering our questions. The only improvement I may suggest is abbreviating explanations. My husband and I were on a time crunch and going out of state. We were only prepared for a 10-11:30am consult time and made our time situation clear in multiple breaks in the conversation, but the meeting extended until 1pm. Now we will be several hours late to our destination. The final deal we mutually agreed upon was fair and we look forward to working with Long Home.

If I could give this company a negative I would. The whole experience was horrid! The sales guy was nice, except for the verbal promises he made to get the sale. The entire remodel was a mess, I was not able to communicate with anyone, no one spoke English. They NEVER scheduled anything with us, they showed up as pleased and it took over a month to complete the project! They left drywall out in the rain, a toilet with water in it in a trash bag in my hallway, they sheet rocked over my vent, my toilet and sink were misaligned, the vanity wasn't the one we picked and was too big for my bathroom, I had to tell them we were getting a new toilet! It was in the contract and they were just going to leave the old one. To this day we are STILL waiting for a new shower bar (which they took our brand new rotating one and replaced with garbage) but I'm assuming since they got there money we won't see it! Nothing at all was good about this experience and I have spread the word far and wide that this company sucks!!! There is no communication at all!

Over priced and fuses to give me my refund for my down payment after I canceled within it the 2 days 9,000 for a One exterior door side door to the kitchen and then try to charge me $5,000 when I said it was too much do not recommend to anyone

Will was excellent! He was very thorough when checking for water damage due to cracks and a very large hole in our tub. He took his time to answer our questions and was very upfront and transparent about pricing. He helped us create a shower that we love at a price we could afford.

The new shower looks and functions exactly as expected. The installation took only 10 hours under challenging conditions of an old (1962) apartment condo complex built amazingly strong with steel-armed concrete. Very positive experience with Jeff on the sales contract portion of our windows. He gave thorough explanations on window options/energy savings. He was responsive to our texts and patient with us as we wanted to get a couple of quotes on the job before making our decision. I had this company come into my home and give me a quote on a full bathroom remodel. They were here for quite a while, and I felt very pressured by the sales woman. I signed the contract with hesitation . But they explained to me I did have 3 days to contact them legally and back out. I contacted them the very next day and said I felt uncomfortable moving forward and would be getting other quotes . I reminded them i was still within the 3 day rescission time. Instead of returning the check, i had given them as a deposit. The company tried to cash the check. Which is absolutely ridiculous! It's a good thing i trusted my gut and canceled the check before they tried to cash it... If you're looking to get your bathroom redone. Don't let their salespeople pressure you. Get lots of quotes before going with a company. I would NOT pick this company and run in the other direction ...

I'm late to amend my review and should have 2 months ago. At this point the work is done. The bathroom looks fantastic, but the process to get there was difficult. I would not do business with them again nor would I recommend them. Out of respect I will not rehash all of the issues here, unless they feel the need to carry this on.

Well its a year later and finally Im a happy person The installation did not go very well it took more than a month to complete the work , the first Issue was the flooring I asked for tile not happening rubber tiling was installed over my existing tile floor . I made them remove it and than was told they don't do Tile flooring, mistake # 2 the sliding doors for the shower were not put in on level they would slide close to the left because the floor was not level 'i ask to have a fix only to be told well check it out . well I gave them a year no one showed up . a year.I was patient . So I went out hired another shower company to fix the catty wampus job.after an hour of work I had the fix, what was needed was a shim one side of the shower pan was lower than the other almost an inch ,well today I'm able to shower with the doors staying closed no towels on the floor,and oh ya I hired a tile contractor for the tile floor I wanted. all in all Long home baths did ok with the rip out of the tub an creating the shower area , just finer details got away from them and me so if your hiring Long Home Improvement please watch the details they don't.

This is a pre-work review of Long Home. Michelle was absolutely fantastic! Very thorough, answered all of our questions and put us at ease throughout the initial process. So far, very impressed with Long Home Products. We’re hoping the installation goes as smoothly as Michelle’s presentation.

We are overall satisfied with our shower, but we’re VERY disappointed with the service after the installation. This has been going on for almost four months and Long Home refuses to address our concerns. Right after installation the caulking yellowed and I was told by Jay that it is called “gassing.” I am familiar with caulks and I know that even cheap caulk doesn’t yellow inside two weeks after installation. The shower gets cleaned regularly so it’s not that. They don’t stand behind their products after they make the sale. Despite REPEATED attempts to rectify this, they have done absolutely nothing to correct it. Very disappointed, and I can’t recommend them to my friends and family. Plus, it shouldn’t take a negative review to get results. The next step is the BBB.

The last negative review got a response from Olivia requesting that we contact her. We did that and it’s been three weeks and still no response. Reported to BBB. They will be contacting Long Home Products. I just wish that we had looked at all the negative reviews on Yelp—We never would have done business with them, but we’re stuck, now living with regret for allowing ourselves to be duped.

Anthony at Long Home contacted me the day before to set up a next day appointment to resolve this issue. The work was completed on Feb. 25. I can’t say enough how satisfied I am with the work that Mike performed. My new shower looks absolutely amazing! The caulk used originally was not what was quoted and yellowed after two weeks, but what Mike installed was over the top outstanding! I’m glad that Long Home followed through and I am now hoping to have additional work done by them. Thank you Anthony and Mike! 5 stars!
