Honestly today when I heard banging on the house I was sure I was going to find my husband trying to fix the siding damage from the last storm. Because 1) we had just contacted Willie over at L&L and i didn't think he would have had an opportunity to do anything yet and 2) my husband is cheap and is always looking for a "better deal" and 3) we have a black house so I knew siding would be impossible to source and match.

I was more than surprised to see it was actually Willie's men. So 1) Willie was extremely fast in getting us a quote AND being able to schedule us promptly, 2) my husband couldn't find a "better deal" anywhere than L&L, and 3) the match is perfect. Not only that, these guys were the friendliest and most professional ever.

I had them replace some damaged Hardie siding on the front of the house. The results were excellent. The paint was matched to the faded boards on the rest of the house and they even did unrelated touch up work before they left. They identified improperly installed boards for future consideration. I will definitely call them again for repair needs.

L&L was quick responsive provided the repair precisely that I needed and as they said they would perform. It’s hard to get all three at the same time but with L&L we got quality timeliness at a reasonable price. I have already recommended them to several friends

Our experience in dealing with L&L Contractors was very satisfying, everyone was pleasant, polite and professional. Braden Benton presented us with a couple of different roofing packages that we asked for to choose from and Peter Heinrich’s went over everything about the roof and gutters that we had discussed before the crew got started. People were here when they said that they would be and finished and cleaned up like they said they would. Peter returned the next day after they finished and went over the warranty and answered any questions we had. I also asked Braden for a reference on a power washer and he recommended Kelvin Beene who did an excellent job as well. Overall my experience in dealing with L&L Contractors would have to rate as an A+ they went above and beyond and I would use them again.

We had a bad experience with contractors many years ago and were therefore cautious about who we hired for our job. We have a large home that needed all of the current siding removed and replaced with James Hardie siding. This was not a diy project! We have nothing but good things to say about L&L, Rob, Shea, Kurt and Bernie! Rob was very informative and patient during the preliminary process. He even brought samples of window designs and put together a custom look that was just what we wanted. From the first day Bernie and his crew worked hard and did an excellent job! They truly have “Hardie” skills. Shea was here daily to go over the day’s progress and was always easy to contact and replied promptly. Rob and Kurt were even here at the completion of the project touching up with artist brushes! We never felt abandoned or dismissed. We truly feel that our happiness and satisfaction with the project was Rob’s and L&L’s top priority.

From the first visit through the completion of the work, Mr. Rob Baughman is without exception the easiest person I have ever worked with in the building industry. He made thorough assessments of scope of the work and explained with meticulous detail how the job should be done. He showed up when he said and the work was completed with precision. L & L will always get my first call on subsequent building and repair needs. I am thankful to have discovered a company of integrity who take pride in the service they provide.

Marc Ebersberger is a great guy and trustworthy. His team did a good job and all of the crew were exceptionally friendly and were great communicators which made us feel very comfortable. They even offered to help carry in groceries, what SUPER nice guys. They were also willing to add on another project mid-job but only charged me for the extra supplies.

Rob the contractor with L&L has been the model contractor. He did what he said and then some and did it on time. He was extremely helpful and courteous. I am not being paid or compensated in any way for my comments. I would recommend L&L to anyone.

From the 1st conversation through the completion of the job Trey explained what they were doing, asked if I had questions or concerns and checked in with me each step of the way to see if I was satisfied and had any questions. The craftsmanship and quality of the loft that he built far exceeds my expectations. Trey also called consulted with one of his partners to ensure the technique they were going to use was the best for my project...together they worked out a way for it to be exceptional quality and very cost effective!!! Trey Palmer was great to work with! He was knowledgeable,creative,and communicative(which is very important). His crew did a great job on my home's exterior laundry room.Both restoring, and, adding more efficient features( vents,etc.). They didn't rush through the job,they did it right.I would not hesitate to use L&L again.

L&L was great from the moment their Project Manager Rob walked through the door. My wife and I knew after our meeting with Rob we were going to hire L&L to replace our roof. Rob was there every step of the way to make sure things ran smoothly. Once the project was completed we had a few issues that I brought to Rob’s attention and he did not hesitate to get someone out to the house to make the corrections. We’ve already told people about Rob and L&L and we won’t hesitate to continue to refer them.

A GREAT experience in a very stressful situation. I had a flood in my home and the remediation company that I hired left me mid-job. We engaged with L&L Contractors to do some tenant improvements on a commercial space in the Walter Hill area. Brian was so great to work with; he was very responsive and did a great job setting expectations. It's rare to find contractors who set reliable expectations, but Brian was able to make sure that our deadlines were met and communicated throughout the whole process. I notice a leak in my living room during recent rains so I called Mark Gilday because he had given me a roof replacement estimate a couple years ago, but I'd put off the work. He was not available that day, but he referred Trey Palmer to help out in my emergency. Trey arrived quickly and provided a temporary fix to my immediate problem. He came prepared with the previous estimate from Mark, which surprised me, and he was able to give me an updated estimate quickly. My roof was replaced less than two weeks later. Trey was great to work with during the whole project. He was knowledgeable, explained things thoroughly, and was easy to communicate with from start to finish. He also worked hard to find a solution that was within my budget. The crew that put on the new roof was hard-working and finished quickly, and cleaned up well after themselves. I am so grateful to Mark and Trey for their help in my emergency. I will definitely call them again for any future contractor needs.

For the second time we choose L&L for an extensive home enhancement project and for the second time, we had extraordinary results.
Mark Gilday, L&L Project Manager, was highly recommended to us in 2016 when we purchased our home in Nashville. He exceeded our highest expectations for all elements of that initial project including roof, siding, painting, cabinet and masonary elements.
Given the high trust and respect Mark had earned from the 2016 work, we turned to him and L&L late last year to undertake a much more extensive expansion project. That project included significantly expanding the room over our garage, adding a large 2nd floor deck and a magnificent elevated, covered screened- in porch which includes a floor to high ceiling 8' wide field stone fireplace. Mark took our very rough ideas and improved every one of them to create results that 'WOW' us every day. And, he delivered those results while managing to keep costs very reasonable and on budget.
Mark Gilday's talent, accountability, communications, ingenuity and professionalism are all exceptional. I was recommended L&L and specifically Rob Baughman from a realtor I had worked with. Rob was super friendly, patient, and helpful as I went through the design and construction of a fully remodeled bathroom. I got three quotes before hand, and ended up going with them. Bathroom looks great and I love it. The only negative I'd say is it just seemed like Rob had too much on his plate at times, which you can't really blame too much given the market in Nashville right now. Overall a good experience.

This was our second project with L&L and, like the last, this experience was excellent. Rob Baughman and his crew were great to work with. The project that we had L&L Contractors do for us more than exceeded my expectations! We originally asked for a roof replacement quote only. We had a joining sunroom that had leaks and needed a roof replacement too. We decided not to repair the sunroom but rather replace it with a custom pergola. As young homeowners, we were nervous about investing so much into our home but Rob, and the team at L&L Contractors, made the process easy and worked with me every step of the way. Rob was especially understanding and patient with me as I wanted to DIY as much of the demo as I could to save money. He identified numerous ways to get the cost down by showing me how I can put some sweat equity into the project if I were willing. He answered text messages at all hours and was a wealth of information for everything from electrical to masonry work. From the time we paid our deposit for the materials to the time we had a new roof on our house was all within 48 hours. I’m sure that the scheduling was due to the time of year but we couldn’t believe how fast we had a brand new, beautiful roof! They use a website called BuilderNet that they updated with photos of the progress throughout the day so my husband at work could see the project. It also allowed me to see photos of any unexpected issues (for us it was a few extra boards needing to be replaced from rot- no big deal) but we had photos and a clear explanation of how the price was comparing to the quote. I also have quick access to my payments made. It was helpful for showing the insurance company too when the roof was complete so I got my premium discounted quickly. Out of all the AMAZING things I have to say about L&L, I have to say the work they did on a 17x20 pergola truly amazed me. I had an idea from Pinterest and they literally made it look better than I had hoped. Rob was especially great in helping me get the best price in the way of materials. He explained the lengths of the wood and we customized the space to maximize each cut of wood, leaving little unused and making the cost go down. Lastly, they accepted a credit card at only a 2% transaction fee. This was a huge selling point for us because most other roofers either only accepted cash or their fee was around 5%. This flexibility allowed us to get more than just a roof and we ended up with the back porch of our dreams. They were one of the cheapest quotes we got too. For the price of some of the higher roofers we got quotes from, we ended up with a beautiful pergola too! Highly recommend!
