My wife and I noticed water damage in our ceiling was quickly developing so we scrambled to get our roof inspected. We called Kevin Villanueva and LCR and they were extremely professional and timely.
Kevin came over the very next morning and noticed that our roof had damage and he started dealing with our insurance company right away.
Just a couple days later, after meeting with the insurance rep, Kevin fought for us and we were able to get a roof replacement fully covered by our insurance.
Rolando, the project manager, and his crew just finished up installing the new roof and it looks amazing. It only took a few hours too. They also did a great job in cleaning up and making sure they didn’t leave any debris from the old roof.
I was also promised a final inspection tomorrow which shows pride in their work.

I had a wonderful experience with Kevin Villanueva at Low cost Roofing and his team. I had an emergency raccoon invasion in my attic, and they came out on a Sunday afternoon to plug the hole and protect home from water damage. They had to come back a second time to plug the hole before they could fix it permanently. Once we had a good day, they came out and got the job done and it was perfect. Communication was excellent and the project management team did great. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough about this roofing company. I am not the easiest person to get a long with. My husband and I worked with Kevin who was always professional, responsive, no matter how many times I bug him. We had a complete roof done. Kevin was an extremely professional and personable sales person. He kept in touch with us and guided us throughout the process. The work was initiated within a week or two of signing the contract. Roof was completed within a day by a team of workers. Clean up was thorough to include debris that landed in my neighbors yard and the common grounds. Kevin followed up after the work was completed to ensure our satisfaction and provided us with photos from the top of the house so we could see the work. Great job!!

Everything from beginning to end of our project was handled totally to our satisfaction. Mike answered all of our questions and was available whenever we needed him. Emilio was very professional and was not a pushy or shady salesman. He offered a free roof inspection with instant pictures to review. His schedule was available the following week and he showed up exactly on time. Again, he is a clean cut professional. Operated a huge ladder safely by himself to get on top of our 3 story TH. As it turns out, he showed us that our roof was in very good condition and probably would last for many more years. He was honest and did not do any shady sales tactics. He gave me a business card to keep his info in case anything is needed in the future.

This is a long review. The very short version is that you would be crazy not to consider Low Cost Roofing for your roofing job, and you still might consider having a couple of mental health experts evaluate you if you consider them but don't hire them.

This is a company that offers, yes, low cost (that's a relative term in the very expensive DMV), but that also distinguished itself in other ways in work it did on two houses for me. Those other ways were excellent communication, fine quality, top-notch professionalism, and thoughtful problem-solving.

The name of the company is Low Cost Roofing, so they are pretty transparent about one of their selling points. And that part is certainly true-- they were-- barely-- the lowest bid of five companies that gave me quotes.

But that name is, in reality, a bit unfair to the company, as it is a lot more than just "low cost." They might as well have named the company "High Quality" or "Great Service" or "Responsive Professionals."

I hired Low Cost Roofing to do two roofs for me-- on the house we live in, and on another house we own. As neither one was an insurance claim, I was paying for the whole thing and spent a lot of time comparing companies and bids and talking to reps. Some of the big names offered absurd prices (more than twice as much as we paid LCR), talked down to us, and trotted out the insulting time worn, obnoxious ploys ("If you sign today, we can offer you X off the already low price I've quoted," for example). One big company left a quote sheet without anyone's name on it, and did not leave a card. I guess he didn't want his fingerprints at that crime scene.

Harjot Nakai is the young man who inspected our roof, told us we could survive a bit longer, and might even get away with just repairing parts of it. He also gave us a great price for complete replacement if we decided to do it. I decided to wait a bit. Harjot kept me informed for the next few months, touching base to tell me the prices went up, then that they had gone back down. When I decided to do one house, he was so impressive in preparing the package that I asked him to check out the second house and send me the quote. You see, by then I already trusted Harjot to do the right thing.

The man in charge of the work on the days they replaced the two roofs was Miguel, another sharp young guy. He invited me up on the roof as they were working on it and gave me a tour, explaining the stages and the products they were using. (I was actually paying attention to verify that the products were the same as in the quote, since I had researched those products and knew them to be good quality.) Miguel also pointed out that there was a lot more rotten wood-- which I saw with my own eyes-- than we had anticipated, but said he was sure they would work out a reasonable price for that unexpected expense. And they did. I was very satisfied with the formula we agreed on-- adequate compensation for them and less of a hit for me.

Miguel came by a few days after the job to inspect the work. He found a couple of things that might be "fixed" just to make the job that much more complete. And his team came and fixed them.

What Low Cost Roofing realizes is that if it communicates openly, listens, offers a fair price for a quality product, works out problems as they arise, follows up, and behaves in an honorable way throughout the relationship with a potential client and/or actual client they will get reviews like this one. And I hope reviews like this bring them more business.

Feel free to write a response to this review to call ME crazy if you choose Low Cost Roofing and don't have the same experience I had. I'd be very surprised if that happens.

A few months ago, another company did a roof inspection to see if we had any storm damage. Fortunately we didn't have enough for an insurance claim or roof replacement, but there were a couple boot seals that needed to be replaced. We were shown photos taken during the inspection. Unfortunately, that company appeared to ONLY be after full roof repairs so they completely ignored multiple calls from me for a quote to replace the boot seals.

Kevin V. From Low Cost Roofing reached out to me and was INCREDIBLY responsive! He promptly showed up to evaluate the condition of my roof and get an idea of what exactly needed to be repaired. From initial contact through to departing at the end of the repairs, he and his team were very professional and did not pressure or push for any unnecessary work. They showed before & after photos and explained everything very clearly. I'm quite happy with the service I received for these repairs so Low Cost Roofing will surely be my first quote when it is time to actually do a roof replacement!

Talk about hard working!
The crew was here from 7:30am till 7:30 pm working nonstop! I’m just amazed.
They had to remove old wood, and the shingles before putting on the new roof.
They are all incredibly detail oriented. They put back on missing aluminum siding, made sure all of the gutters were cleaned out snd secure.
They did an outstanding job!
The next day they were here bright an early to clean up and leave the place looking so much better than when they first got here!

Honest, fast, focused, detail oriented, professional, & top notch are all words I’d use to describe them & all for an excellent price.

My building's roof needed immediate repair just after storm damaged it. I contacted Low Cost Roofing Company and their colleagues to investigate my roof and give me an estimate of the cost. They came had a look and told us they can start working now and will be finished in couple of hours!. They were efficient and competent. I wholeheartedly endorse this roofing company. Low Cost Roofing was highly recommended to me through word of mouth, and I'm happy to pay it forward to you, dear reader. Andrew and his team performed a thorough roof inspection for us during the homebuying process, then returned for maintenance work and minor repairs once we had closed.

Although roofing is in the name, I also asked if they could add fresh caulk to the doorframe and windows. The updated quote was extremely reasonable, and saved me the trouble of arranging for another visit! They were mindful of matching the color, even if it meant an extra trip to Home Depot.
