The Home Doctor replaced my roof, which turned out to be very good. I also selected the same company for my gutter and gutter protection.
Andy was the salesman for the roof and Mike Sims was for the gutter and gutter protection. Both gentlemen were very professional and courteous.

We had an excellent experience with The Home Doctor from start to finish. Mr. Quintas McCorkle's site visit, explanation and no pressure presentation was thorough, with explanation the products and process were spot on. The delivery was what was explained to us, where the shingles arrived and the install grew showed up the following day. I work from home and I barely knew they were there working. They arrived at 7:30 am and completed by 5:00pm. The crew did a great job cleaning up. They left the area around our house in better condition than when they arrived. The get 5 stars from me and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing their roof replaced and expectation it will be done with assurance and done right the first time. Well done!!!!

We had Home Doctor install a new roof and replace the siding on the front of our house. Both jobs were done to high standards by competent, professional crews and were completed promptly. The crews cleaned up completely at the end of their work and left the house and yard in great condition. Our sales representative, Quintas, was excellent. He stayed on top of the project from our first sales meeting through scheduling and completion, stopping by several times to inspect the work. We are very satisfied both with the completed project as well as the process to get there.

Don't believe the 5 star reviews!

I had them come out to give me a quote. I was skeptical because their website and services looked a little shady, but was convinced by the amount of 5 star reviews. I should have listened to my gut.

The individual who came to give me a quote was very sales heavy without much substantial knowledge on what I needed done. At multiple times I had to correct them on what I was looking for as well as the products I would need.

When they provided my quote, they told me the price was dependent on me leaving a 5 star review. The irony is it was by far the worst price I got in my search.

Afterwards, they called me to confirm my project, which was the completely wrong project. I informed them I would not be moving forward, but they have continued to email me and call me weekly despite me unsubscribing and blocking. Look elsewhere to have any work done.

The Home Doctor was excellent! They were fast, efficient and my windows look wonderful! Great communication and customer service! Definitely recommend!

Outstanding! From the beginning of the process that started with our roof inspection to the installation, the Home Doctor staff was friendly, honest, and professional. Home Doctor did exactly what they said they would do. My wife and I are very happy with our new roof and will highly recommend Home Doctor to anyone wanting a roof replacement.

I wasn't going to write a review because I didn't have anything nice to say and I was a little embarrased that I even hired them; however, I just found damage caused to my outdoor furnature so I'm going to let it rip . First, this company uses high-pressure sales tactics. They give you a today price, 30-day price, and a 12-month price. Needless to say, the today price is SIGNIFICANTLY lower so that if you are attempting to get additional estimates, you would stand to lose thousands of dollars if other companies come in higher and you later decide to go with The Home Doctor. Also, even the today price seemed inflated. I decided to go with them for my gutter replacement, but upon reflection was pretty annoyed about the pressure.

When the workmen showed up, they were wearing Power Home Remodeling shirts, and I could see the truck they showed up in also had a Power Home Remodeling logo that they'd tried to cover up with paper. Really?? I was under the impression that The Home Doctor did all their own work!? Had I known they were going to outsource the job I would NOT have gone with them. I already have a relationship with Power Home Remodeling!!

The day the gutters were replaced, they seemed satisfactory , but I didn't perform an inspection of my yard. I didn't think I needed to. It is now spring and I went into my back yard to do some cleanup and found that they dropped something heavy on my table, denting it!!!!!! I can't fix that!!! I also found several aluminum nails just lying around on my patio where they could end up in someone's foot!

Lastly, when I signed the agreement I gave them my credit card to pay the deposit. The salesman (Mike I think) said I could pay the balance by check once the work was complete to avoid the 3% surcharge for credit card payments. When the work was complete, there was no one to collect the check. A few days later I received a voicemail letting me know I could mail a check or pay by card, so I set up the payment to mail from my bank. The very next day, I found the balance had been charged to my credit card without my authorization. Luckily the salesman helped me get it resolved pretty quickly.

Advice to myself for the future: Have a thorough look at google reviews before signing an aggreement (not just the star rating) and DO NOT work with any company that uses these sales tactics.

Lina will work with you to find you the best product that will fit your needs for the best pricing that fits your pocketbook or budget that you're looking for. "The Home Doctor" is very competitive in pricing and has excellent quality products, compared to other major companies. Lina is a good listener, she will show you their range and different quality of products, and there is not pressure on the buyer and you are not limited to the amount of time she will spend with you to make sure all your questions are answered.
The installers that handled my order were on time as appointed, very courteous, valued me as a customer. They were careful, professional, respectful, and did an excellent job during the installation and cleanup. There was no messing around, they went about their busy work with pression, paying attention to every detail. They would not leave until the job is inspected and approved by the owner. The company, "The Home Doctor" followed up with you before they leave the site as well as another follow up call the next day or so. They are very customer oriented and friendly. We will also recommend the company and Lina to our Homeowner Association Property Management Company for our community directory for our neighborhood and anyone who need or is thinking about window or other home repair /replacement needs.

Had a door put in for our new patio area outside and wanted french doors with a doggie door. Super friendly, awesome initial meeting with Andy Brown. He gave us the best price that was available. He set up an initial measuring and that happened at the time he said. Followed up with the schedule of the door install which also happened exactly at the time and date he said (about 4 weeks after). Work was done quick and with no issues. VERY happy with our door and will definitely use The Home Doctor again. Prices are less expensive than your other big companies like Andersen windows or Long Fence. You cant go wrong here! Before and after pics added.

We had our gutters replaced. The whole experience was very pleasant, from start to finish. The sales lady was very professional and extremely knowledgable. The crew that installed the gutters took two hours and left our property cleaner than it was when they came. I have been contacted several times since the project was completed to make sure I am happy. Now all I need is a heavy rain. I highly recommend the home doctor.

This is the fourth project that the Home Doctor have completed for me in 2024-2025. They do a fantastic job. I'm still not sure how they always complete the projects on time! We had all our windows (28) and sliding doors (2) replaced by The Home Doctor. The entire process from the estimate to the entire installation was exceptional. The team that did our installation was the most efficient and professional group I have seen in a long time. The added polarized tint has been very nice this summer. We are loving our new windows and doors.

Update: The Home Doctor has now texted me multiple times to offer services I declined based on their practices described below. Really?!?
I found the business practices (specifically the consultation & estimate) of The Home Doctor (THD) circumspect. I went to Fairfax County Best Picks and found THD provided insulation services. About 10 seconds after I sent an email to all of the companies requesting an estimate, I got a call from THD. They were very aggressive in their approach but I was willing to hear them out. We scheduled a consultation for the following evening and they repeatedly said they wanted both my husband and me home to go over everything. When the salesperson arrived, he arrived with a gift, which is odd. I repeat he was a salesperson and not a person that installed insulation. He spent some time looking at my attic and then went outside to measure my house with a tape measure. When he came in, I thought he would go over the recommendations and what THD would do. My husband and I were up front and said we had several other companies lined up for quotes as well. We were also looking an estimate fair to THD and to us. Instead of providing the estimate, he went through an hour-long presentation about THD. When he got to the estimate, he explained the three estimates THD provides. The estimate good for 1 year (covers the cost for inflation) at almost $16K , the 30-day estimate at $14+K, and the today estimate at $13+K. When we said that was more than we expected and more than what I found on a google estimator, which I was using to get a general baseline. He said he would call THD to see what he can do for us. He came back in and said he was able to 30% off the cost and that he gave up some of his commission because he valued our military service. So now the same day estimate came down to $9+K. We said we wanted to wait to get the other quotes before we made a decision. Then he said, I have $1,000 in my wallet, would that lower the cost enough for you to choose THD? We again said no. We wanted to get the other quotes before making a decision. Yes, he mentioned THD had a price match guarantee but I found the parameters they used to honor the price match were extremely narrow and prohibitive.

How can they reduce their estimate by over $5,000 if the estimate was not already over inflated?

THD never provided a written quote via email or provided the list of work that would be done. They had my email since they sent an email to confirm the appointment. Every other competitor that I, yes they didn't require my husband to be there, met provided a written quote with an explanation of the work to be completed (i.e. install baffles, add blown cellulose to 17", etc.).

So happy with my new windows! Quintas McCorkle was very helpful with the sale in explaining the different windows, prices, and the process to move forward.
I travel a lot and they really worked around my schedule to make this happen!
The two installers were great and left my house clean when they were finished.

He explained the nature of the business in such a professional manner you would have thought he worked in the field for years. After speaking with him for a 25-30 min, I notice how patient he was with me. I informed him that I will have my husband give him a call so that we can continue with a quote and possible installation. Thank you Mr James, I will recommend a management position any day. I must admit I haven’t had much work done but I had a great encounter with Home Doctor. I also had a great experience and conversation with someone from the call center her was Rahkia her customer service was impeccable such a sweet reassuring representative.

Home doctor is a great place to work and great place to get your home improvement projects from. They’re nice, helpful, and caring. Definitely will recommend someone to shop and work with this company.

The nightmare started shortly after they "finished" the roof which I say lightly because after 2 yrs the job is yet to be completed. Just to name a couple things, so I'm not on here writing a book....1. sloppy job laying the shingles, which causes rain water to not drain into the gutters, but run off in places on the side of the house instead. That leads to erosion among other things.
The biggest problem above everything else is their lack of professionalism and extremely poor communication. If you don't speak Spanish, you're screwed. I get the impression the business is run from someone's garage.

I hope that the time I've spent posting this will save at least one person from going through the same ordeal we've had to. Don't lose years off ur life or hair from your head because of all the stress and frustration this will cause you!
Don't throw your money away either.

Update: Your efforts to make us sound like some drug addicted vagrants from the other places I've reviewed is a pathetic attempt to discredit our experience. But this is on par for the kind of customer service we've come to expect from this company. I take my reviews seriously and that is why I have the popular and respected standing with Goggle. We already have planned and started to look into getting the roof inspected.
As a customer, you need to ask yourself if this is what you want to deal with from a company.

THC did a great job replacing the roof of my townhome this week. Job started and ended on time, cleanup was thorough. They provided about a dozen photos of their work, which was very helpful. I'd recommend them in the future.

Great job done! My attic has new very thick insulation. Home Dr arrived on time, got right to work taking out the old insulation and blew in the new. They did a great job!
