Our experience with Nest Exteriors was simply excellent! We had a repeat roof leak that a previous company had patched. We had the company out again and they told us we needed a new roof. We contacted Robert with Nest for a second opinion and he was wonderful. He came out quickly, spent almost an hour on our roof, patched the problem spot along with a few others that looked potentially problematic, took loads of pictures, and then gave us a virtual tour of our roof. He reassured us that we don’t need a new roof right now and gave us a full explanation of what we can likely expect based on our roof’s current condition, as shown in the pictures. We then discussed future options and potential costs, so we know what to plan for.

Robert saved us thousands of dollars and earned our confidence. When we do need a new roof (and gutters and maybe a door or two), it’s very likely he’ll have our business.

We had a great experience with Next Exteriors. They replaced our roof shingles and gutters. Our initial meeting was very informative and there was zero pressure to sign a contract or even discuss starting the project. All of the online communication and transferring of documents, contracts, photos, and payments was seamless. The whole process from our initiation sales meeting, to a follow up meeting, and the installation was very transparent and easy going. Robert on the sales side was able to answer all of our questions and explain our options thoroughly. Conner did a great job managing the installation. The roofers and gutter installers were very efficient, respectful and tidy.

Matt from JGL came to do an attic and roof inspection after I found wood damage in my attic. I am an out of state landlord that routinely gets ripped off by contractors taking advantage of my situation . Matt showed up right on time and headed to the attic, where he explained what he saw and talked me through his inspection. After getting a $15,000 estimate from another contractor, Matt said my issues didn't warrant a major overhaul. Instead he provided much more practical and affordable alternatives. He even identified a couple of non roofing issues with my chimney and gutter that should be attended to. Bottom line: this company has integrity and will not fleece you with unnecessary repairs. They can be trusted and will be at the top of my list for any home exterior work that I need in the future.

Placed a call to JGL Roofing due to some water penetration in the home (two separate locations). Matt did a thorough check of the roof and (a) identified the main roof was not the cause of any water penetration, and (b) identified that our bump out simply needed some touch up caulk in that location. In addition, he identified a third location where the shingles were loose and required some maintenance. Matt caulked the bump out and repaired the loose shingles, requesting no payment for his services. Rather, an opportunity to develop a relationship and keep his company in mind for future work. What a great experience working with Matt Millonig from JGL Roofing. He was very flexible with scheduling specially since we had to reschedule multiple times due to rain. The estimate he did was very good and helped me determine the correct time to replace my roof.

Matt and Connor did a great job of coordinating our estimate, choosing colors, and finally putting the roof on our townhouse. They were able to answer all my questions quickly and come back and double check the work and help me get pictures to send to my handyman when I needed to get extra work done, etc. After my roofing was completed, Connor even came back over to make sure the gutters were working correctly when I said there might be a leak in the downspout. Would completely, and without hesitation, recommend them.

We used JGL Roofing previously for a full roof replacement at our old house and had a great experience. So, when a small tree branch broke into several pieces and fell on our current home, they were the first call we made to have someone assess if there was any damage. Matt came out and did an amazing job all around! After performing his assessment, he clearly explained the situation and his recommendation. We were fortunate that only one shingle had a small dent and he offered to caulk it at no charge since he was already there. As he was making the repair, he noticed two areas around some of the exhaust pipes that also needed caulking and took care of them as well. He then removed the branch pieces and placed them all neatly on the ground. To top it all off, he sent a follow-up email that included a photo inspection report, summary of what was done, and things to look out for. We used JGL Roofing & Exteriors to replace the roof of our townhome. The team we worked with from sale through execution was great. They're knowledgeable and trustworthy. They are self admittedly slightly more expensive than other companies. Also, because they are a smaller operation, they can take a little bit to get back to you or to get you on their schedule. Overall, we were very happy with the quality of materials and work performed.

We’ve recently used JGL for repair work to our roof. The work was done professionally and for a reasonable price. We were impressed with Matt, the project consultant, who did the initial visit and estimate for the repairs. We have an older roof (20+ years) and really want to avoid putting on a new one for as long as possible. Matt was completely understanding and didn’t try to pressure us into anything. That is so rare these days! However, if a new roof is in our future, we’ll definitely be calling JGL!

JGL worked quickly to replace our leaky roof and rotted plywood. Connor Elliott even took care of obtaining the permit for us and updated us throughout the process I closing final inspection by the city. Everything was explained in detail and Matt Millonig came over in the evening to show us gutter colors so that we didn’t have to take off work. I highly recommend them for any roof work.

Needed a roof repair to fix an issue and make the roof last until a planned renovation. I worked with Matt and Conner, and also spoke to the owner about options to fix the problem. I was presented with three different scenarios for my budget. At no point did they try to sell me a new roof or anything that wasn’t needed. During the actual repair, the work crew showed up early and finished the same day. Conner kept me up to date on the progress and ensured the job was completed correctly. We will be using JGL for our renovation.

I had a roof leak and Matt Millonig happened to be in my neighborhood. when I asked him to check the leak, not only did he inspect, he also fixed it as a routine maintenance and took care of the issue.

Excellent company to work with. Called and had an appointment time the next day. Was called before the appointment by Matt to verify he was on the way and he arrived promptly.

On site Matt was thorough and gave good advice that made sense regarding a small project. Truthfully, the work might be manageable by a competent handy-man but it's a roof. As a first time home owner I felt more comfortable having the work done by a roofer. He explained my options and didn't try to hard pressure me in any way.

He took a lot of photos on the roof and gave me good advice on how to keep the roof leak free and happy which I appreciated. None of that involved pressuring me into taking immediate action that day. I genuinely would not have realized that a rubber gasket up there would need eventual replacement, and now I can plan for that repair in the future.

RGL Roofing did an outstanding job replacing the roof on our townhouse. Robert Gay came out on January 23rd, prepared an estimate and reviewed in detail the work they would do. We had received two quotes and RGL was the best, After accepting the quote on January 25th, Connor Elliot coordinated the work and scheduled the material delivery for February 1st and the removal of the old roofing and installation of the new roof on February 2nd. On the 1st, ABC Supply delivered our materials directly to the roof utilizing a boom truck. The eave of our roof is approximately 35-ft above the driveway and the peak of the root is about 48-ft above the ground. The crew arrived early, but waited until a few minutes after 7:00 am when Connor had said they would start. They removed the old roofing, constantly cleaning the yard and putting the old material into the truck they had parked in our driveway. They completed the work about 5:00 pm, after they had walked the yard multiple times and used a magnet on wheels to remove all of the old nails that fell to the ground. They also cleaned our neighbors' yards and decks. The next business day, Connor came by to verify that we were satisfied and that the work was done and clean to his satisfaction. Had Matt Millonig come out to do an inspection of my roof and he was really great. Extremely personable, knowledgeable, and flexible (I work from home and needed him to give me 10 mins to finish a work call and he had no problem with it). He was transparent about the life of my roof, giving me a reasonable expectation of when I truly need to replace it (about 1-2 years) and how to prepare versus trying to sell me right then and there on getting it replaced. Backed his opinion up with pictures of the current state and why it had a bit more time left in it, and even went back up a second time to do some complimentary caulking and touch up work. Really, really impressed with the service, timeliness, and quite honestly friendliness of this consultant and will absolutely be giving Matt a call when I’m prepared to move forward with a replacement.

I contracted with JGL for a new roof and was completely satisfied with the service and work performed. I thought the price was fair and all my questions were answered completely. He also gave me a reasonable quote and assessment of the problem, and then scheduled it prior to the next rain. He's very communicative using email, SMS, and phone calls according to the situation at hand. Also, lays out expectations and takes before and after pictures. Robert got back to me quickly and gave my roof a thorough inspection after I experienced some leaks in a heavy downpour. This is the second time we use JGL. From the beginning we felt valued and that our concerns from the first job were taken into consideration. JGL was top notch on working on my shaker shingle roof - not an easy job for them, but they made it very easy to work with them. Sent pictures before and after the job, worked with me on options and even referred me to another company for other repairs needed. Really appreciate Robert and Connor in helping me get this done!

We had storm damage and had several contractors provide info and quotes, JGL provided the most information and options and did not try and nickle and dime us. Then the did the work on time and very professionally. These are not part time workers or day workers that are not part of the firm. The quality of the work and some adjustments that had to be made on site were outstanding and at no additional charges. Very pleased with the work and have recently called them back to do some more work.

I called JGL roofing on Friday evening after a storm left a baseball-sized hole in our roof. Connor from JGL called me right back "after hours". On Saturday he followed up by temporarily patching the hole. Connor then quickly followed up on Sunday with a reasonable bid to fix our roof on Tuesday. I highly recommend JGL in general if you have a roofing issue and Connor in particular. They do a great job and get it done quickly! (The second picture is just the quick patch--not the final roof.)

From the start to the finish, JGL was timely, professional, courteous and very generous with their expertise and communication. The initial evaluation was thorough, and the project manager we had, Connor Elliott, kept us apprised about timing, any possible delays, and delivery of materials. We really liked that he not only kept our roofing and siding project going, he also took the weather and his teams into account and made sure everything went smoothly.

The roofing crew showed up exactly on time and went to work so quickly that the old roof was off and the new one was going on before lunch. They took the time to cover our plants with tarps and moved objects in the backyard that could have been damaged. At the end of the first day, you would have never known they were there because the cleanup went so well.

The siding crew was just as diligent, and Mr. Elliott apprised us of a needed repair once the old siding was off, was thorough in the explanation, and kept the project going. Similar to the roofing crew, the cleanup was so thorough it was if they’d never been there.

Finally, the gutter crew also was prompt, diligent and finished quickly.

Our home was in need of a new roof, and we opted to go with JGL Roofing & Exteriors and couldn't be happier. From the very start, Robert (the owner), came out to personally inspect the state of the existing roof and explained exactly what was needed in getting a roof replacement and how the process would work. This wasn't just a matter of replacing shingles; we needed an entirely new roof: new plywood, new gutters and downspouts, a ridge vent, the absolute works.

The JGL team did a fantastic job with the replacement and updates. Everyone was courteous and professional from start to finish, and we've been incredibly satisfied with the result! The roof is great, and the new gutters and downspouts are integrated very nicely with the new intake vents that were installed along with new gutter guards. It's a remarkable improvement to say the least!

Furthermore, we had JGL come back out for an additional repair and inspection. We had some extensive chimney work done and needed to have the chimney reflashed with the roof (we couldn't time it for the chimney work to happen before the roof replacement). We also had a couple of enterprising house sparrows decide that the new gutters would make a great place for a new nest in one corner. JGL took care of both issues for us, and inspected the rest of the roof each time as well to make sure there were no other issues that needed attention.

We've been very happy with JGL and it's clear that they stand behind their work. We'll certainly use them again and recommend JGL to others!

They repaired a basketball-sized hole in my shed roof that came from a fallen tree branch. I called them, they sent someone out to look and give a quote within 3 business days. Sent me the quote a few days later. After I gave them the green light, they called me quickly to confirm a day/time, and were there fixing the shed roof on-time and professionally. Couldn't have been simpler.. I just wished they did bathroom renovations!!

We had some minor roof damage where a corner of the roof had come loose and small birds could get into our attic. JGL came out to perform the repair, arrived early, and not only fixed the hole but also did a bit of helpful maintenance elsewhere on the roof - then didn’t even charge us for the work because it didn’t take very long! JGL Roofing came out several weeks ago to assess the leak in the master bedroom. After 24 years it was time to replace the roof. This wonderful group took the HOA requirements, ordered the materials and took to heart the work hours allowed by the Community. This is not my first experience with JGL. The did some work for us previously on our house. The most recent job was on a small studio out back. I had put the roof on previously when I built it a few years back. Full disclosure, I did a horrible job. I didn't realize how bad of a job I did until I had JGL come out to rip it off and replace it. It looks amazing.

Everyone was great. The owner, the project manager and the workers were all very professional. The pricing was more than fair and the work they did was top notch. highly recommend that you give them a try if you're considering any roof work. I'm going to add them to our neighborhood's list of recommended builders.

JGL is awesome. They did a full roof replacement for us with new skylights, gutters, shingles and repairs where needed. I got three estimates and I found their’s to be the best value for the highest quality. The crew was great and work was done well. Today they even did warranty work in awful weather to make sure a soffit piece was reinstalled and animals couldn’t access the attic when arctic cold is expected to come through. I would definitely use JGL again.

JGL has been great to work with. Had full roof replacement in 2018 and they have been very responsive and helpful with any issues since then. In particular, Connor has been really great to work with and helped us out in a big way when we had some issues right before Christmas travel.

Robert, Connor and the team were fabulous! They were very responsive and took the time to answer all of my questions. They took lots of photos so I could “see” everything before and after the work was done.

My wife and I recently hired JGL Roofing to replace the shingles on our house and also put a new flat roof on our two car garage. They did a beautiful job and we were very happy with our experience working with JGL. Robert Gay came to do the estimate and he really took the time to look at our house and garage carefully. He answered all my questions and explained how the work would be done and what options were available. He had a detailed estimate put together within an hour that listed each item and gave prices for all options and upgrades. We were able to schedule the work within a few weeks. Two hard working crews showed up on the scheduled day, one for each roof, and finished almost everything the same day. We have a lot of landscaping with garden beds close to the house and Robert was honest with me about the possibility that, with so much old roofing material coming down, some plants might get damaged. The workers were very careful about our gardens and even built plywood covers over some of the shrubs to protect them. In the end, none of our plants were damaged. The price was very reasonable for the high quality of the work. I recommend JGL if you need to have a roof repaired or replaced.

JGL just completed installing a roof on my house. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. First, Robert came over and got up on my roof, measured and took pictures. He showed me the pictures and took time to explain the entire process to me and gave me options. Next, Robert scheduled a convenient day to have the roof installed. Connor took it from there by calling me a couple of times during installation day to give me updates on the estimated completion time. I was very thankful the crew thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend this company as they are to notch!

We have had a great experience with JGL Roofing and Exteriors. We have had a leak in our carport that was not solved with the initial repairs, but Conner Elliot has come out three additional times to investigate while dry, when raining, and then to repair. Now we are waiting for the next rainstorm. He has done this on his own time and without additional cost. He is invested in solving this complex leak and provide advice on other issues discovered in the process. Robert, Conner, and the entire team at JGL were an absolute pleasure to work with. They tailored the roof repair and replacement to the particularly bad construction of our original roof, fixing a nasty leak that kept recurring. Their pricing is reasonable and reflects the high quality of materials, warranty, and overall great job. They cleaned up after themselves, and finished a complex job in less than two days. Could not recommend them enough!

Over the past few years, JGL has installed a new roof, windows, doors, siding, and gutters on our house. They were easy to work with, very responsive, and quickly took care of any issues. They do good, quality work and we recommend them.

I noticed a roof leak so I decided to get estimates around the area. JGL wasn't the cheapest but was reasonable and extremely thorough with the assessments. My builder appears to have installed the roof incorrectly so that's why I began to notice the leak through the roof and onto the ceiling drywall. I liked the overall impression and thoroughness while giving me various options so I proceeded with the repair option. Without going into the details, the initial repair didn't resolve the issue but we worked out the details and had multiple subsequent repairs to get the roof into a better shape. It's been a few months since the repair. I am extremely happy with the overall process and the execution of JGL team. Highly recommend!

Five stars all the way. From Robert's initial visit and presentation to the work crew to the follow up from Connor, JGL Roofing is exceptional and professional. We never felt pressured, oversold or overpromised. From the estimate to scheduling to day-of, the communication was clear and timely. The crew showed up on time, were professional, worked incredibly hard and completed our project (new gutters, skylight replacement, venting, roof) almost entirely in one day and cleaned up before the sun went down. The end product looks stunning and we are as pleased as we could be. We could not more enthusiastically recommend JGL Roofing!

Of the four contractors who came to my home to provide estimates for a complete roof replacement, Robert of JGL Roofing was the only contractor to climb a ladder, walk the entire roof, and take pictures. Most others just stood on the sidewalk - one went to the attic - and drew up estimates. Robert also provided samples and materials that I could review at my leisure. At no point did I feel pressure. On the day of the install, he and his business partner arrived to assess the work in progress,
to include walking the roof, taking pictures, and communicating with the crew leader. The JGL estimate was not the cheapest offer I received
nor was it the most expensive. However, I feel the company's integrity, professionalism, and finished product were well worth what we paid.

JGL replaced our original roof last year. Robert provided detailed information and worked with high end materials in addition to offering the best quote we received. Our new roof was replaced in a day and we've been very happy with the work. After watching a neighbor get a new roof a few months ago and picking up trash from their project for weeks I can't say enough about his crew taking care to do the best they could to clean up the 5000 odd nails that end up getting replaced during installation.

Now a year later we've had some weird, small, fluke issues with water getting in to our house (not a lot and it all seems to be from weird rare issues: from water blowing in sideways to our furnace exhaust, to a possible hole around the soffit for a window - both issues were only during the craziest of storms).

Regardless when I reached out in a small panic about the issues Robert was prompt to respond, he came out once to verify that our furnace exhaust cap wasn't gone (after getting ZERO help from our HVAC maintenance contract) and then came out a second time with a crew and the 40ft ladder they need to get on to our super tall roof - to go over a bunch of tiny things and reseal every possible nook or cranny (since we have no idea what the exact issue is).

It shouldn't be hard to get businesses to stand by their products or services but it seems rarer and rarer to me. I was immensely relieved at JGL's professionalism, willingness to stand by their work, and availability during a busy time.
