Customers are fully satisfied

We recently completed a Master Bedroom Suite and basement addition to our home, and we were extremely pleased with performance of the Lakewood Homebuilders Team from start to finish. VP Lance Rittenhouse Project Manager Tim Johnson assured the finished product was exactly what we asked for, on budget, and on schedule.
We received estimates for the project from four different companies. Lance stood out as friendly, straightforward, and head and shoulders above the representatives from other companies. Whether it was selecting materials, adjusting designs, or addressing unforeseen challenges, the team handled each aspect professionally and with minimal stress.
Tim was professional, communicative, and attentive to detail. He took the time to understand our vision for the addition and offered valuable insights that improved the project's overall design and functionality. Throughout the process, he kept us informed of progress, timelines, and any potential challenges.
We were particularly pleased with the team's punctuality and commitment to the schedule. Despite a few unexpected minor delays, Tim managed to complete the project on time without compromising quality. They were respectful of our home and kept the workspace clean and organized throughout the construction process.
The addition blends perfectly with the existing structure of our home, enhancing the aesthetic appeal and dramatically increasing utility. Multiple neighbors have commented that the addition looks like it “has always been there.”
We wholeheartedly recommend this contractor to anyone considering a home addition or renovation. Their professionalism, skill, and dedication to excellence are unmatched. We couldn't be happier with the outcome.

From our initial meeting with Lance where he spoke in detail with us about our space and took photos of the house, to reviewing his incredibly detailed proposal, we had the sense that Lakewood was thorough and detail-oriented. After meeting with three other contractors, our decision to go with Lakewood was an easy one which led to a great experience.
We hired Lakewood for a full home renovation including adding a third full bathroom, butterflying our primary bedroom ceiling, adding two new decks, moving our kitchen from the first floor to the second, and installing two small porches. Prior to starting the work, Lance indicated he thought the project would take 6-7 months. To the surprise of nearly everyone in our neighborhood, we were back in the house at the 7 month mark.
Lakewood worked seamlessly with our architect and designer. Our project manager Nick was in constant communication with us and ALWAYS responded to text messages, even on the weekend. He provided us with an initial timeline and kept us up to date as the project went along. Plus, he was extremely personable. Lance was always there to answer any questions, address any issues with materials, and provide updated cost spreadsheets.
Their workers were here every day, and worked tirelessly to get the job done. They were incredibly tidy and respectful, not to mention very pleasant. And, they did beautiful work! Lance, Tim, Nick, and their whole crew are great people; they have our highest recommendation.
We cannot say enough about how positive our experience with Lakewood was. We had heard horror stories from friends and acquaintances about big renovations, and are thrilled to report that we truly had a very positive experience with Lakewood. Their pricing was fair, their communication was excellent, and their work was wonderful.
Liz & Chris Cummings

We hired Lakewood builders for a large renovation and addition. It was a significant project which, in addition to adding new space to our existing footprint, touched just about every room of our house, including replacing the floors, all of the trim and interior doors.
Working with Lakewood was a great experience! Lance was our project manager and was always available to answer questions and resolve any issues that came up. He was very communicative and explained different options so we could make an intelligent decision. Like all large projects, here were some delays but most of them were minor and not Lakewood’s fault. Our neighbors even commented on how clean and considerate the work crews were. Lakewood also didn't nickel and dime us on minor changes but instead wanted to ensure that we were pleased with the results.
I would definitely use Lakewood for future projects and recommend them to my friends and family. Their prices were reasonable and as I mentioned the construction process was smooth.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
