La Crosse Lumber Co. - Montgomery City, MO

Um so back in the day when I was a wee little child I went there with my dad and siblings. And Idunno what we got there then. But that doesn't really matter anymore. So we went there the other day and it looked a bit different from when we were kids. Um so anyways I needed to get some sand for my chickens. And Orscheln has not been in stock with the sand business for some reason. But anyways. I also got some tape and it was such a good experience. Although I thought I would get to load my own sand by myself. Some worker dude loaded it up for me. And that was very nice of dude to do. Also I tried to hide in my car from someone I know who happens to work there. And my mom yelled at me. I hope the guy I was hiding from didn't see me. But he probably did and I'm not good at playing hide and seek obviously. But all the employees looked nice and were working hard. Prices were good. And it was a fun place to be. Also they had a fish. I went in here a long time ago. But I recently came back, and the place looks different. My sister had to buy sand for our chickens and they didn't even use it. She also bought some double sided tape. She spent about like $23. At first the tape didn't work, but then it did. I was scared to go in there. BAHAHAHAHAHAH. Anyways my sister was sad because she wanted to put the sand in our car, but some dude who worked there did it for us. Also we seen her boyfriends dad. And some guy from church. WAIT, ALSO THEY HAD FISH IN THEIR STORE!!!!!

12 dollar .

Always Very helpful. I just purchased 2x4’s for a remodeling project for my small business. They deliver for free, which is such a huge bonus especially for a single woman. I was told by my contractor that I ordered the wrong size. Nina was very kind and helpful. Clarence delivered the correct size, and picked up the wrong size. I did not have to load them in my van, and return them to the store. Thank you, Thank you! Very blessed to have a local business that treats their customers with compassion and respect.

I had bought a few items to fix my gutter… I was told if I did not use the items to bring them back for a refund. I took the gutter it’s self back which was almost $30 and did not have my credit card on me that I paid for it with. The lady knew it was a different card I had on me than what I paid with and try to refund me the amount back to a different card knowing it would not work. I was told to come back up there to have the problem fixed and when I showed up I was told there’s nothing they can do about it I have to wait until the end of the week to see if my refund will show up in my bank account when they already said it would not because it’s not the card i used to pay for the items… Now I’m being told their hands are tied and there’s nothing they can do about it.
