We spoke with six different roofing companies when researching options for our aging roof. Half of them suggested filing a claim for hail damage while the other three stated it needed to be replaced due to age. CJS Roofing stood out to us because of their honesty regarding not having enough hail damage on our roof to warrant a claim. They replaced our roof and added a ridge vent in one day. Everything looks great and it took the recent storms like a champ. The installers did an excellent job cleaning up after the roof install was complete. I've only found three nails around our house. CJS offers excellent products with impressive factory warranties. If you are looking for a new roof and want it done right and with integrity then CJS Roofing is worth the wait.

Chris came out immediately to inspect my roof and confirmed the hail damage. Once I made my insurance claim, CJS handled everything. Communication was great. They called or emailed to keep me informed at every step. The installers were professional, shrubs and plantings were tarped and protected, and clean up was thorough. The roof was completed in one day. Chris was there near completion to assure everything was done according to plan and to answer any questions I had. My new roof is beautiful! Chis, Ryan and their crew did a very nice job installing our roof. Chris contacted us prior to installing and the crew was on time and finished our roof and shed in one day. Chris stopped by multiple times during the day checking on the progress and kept us updated when new plywood needed replaced. They did a good job of covering landscape before starting and cleaned up when completed. I would recomend CJS Roofing for any future roofing needs.

CJS replaced my roof and gutters after a recent storm. The work was done quickly and professionally. They were great to work with and kept me up to date on the schedule. They even handled submitting the paperwork to my insurance company.

I will try to make this short.. But CJS Roofing was one of the best contractors that I have worked with. Between Chris, Ryan and Denise they were all there to answer any and all of my questions. The day before the job, Ryan called me to let me know they would be there around 6:15. Sure enough, they were at my house at 6:15 with the first person on the roof by 6:21. These guys worked quick and diligently and had our new roof fully on by 11am. They were cleaned and packed up by noon.
I would highly recommend this local, family owned and operated company to everyone... and I do every time I hear of someone talking about needing a new roof.

CJS Roofing did an amazing job replacing our roof, and roof on the shed. If you are looking for a roofing company, look no further. Mike came out and inspected the roof after the March 2024 hail storm. He confirmed the roof was damaged from the hail storm and needed replacing. He made another trip to our house to work with the adjuster to start the claim process. Denise, assisted me with the insurance claim, and walked us through the entire process. I could not have done this on my own!

The crew that came out, had the old roof off and new roof on in less than one day. The cleanup after the installation far exceed our expectations. Mike made another trip back to inspect the roof. I am truly amazed with the customer service, the easy of getting a roof replaced with an insurance claim. The roof turned out absolutely gorgeous.

CJS installed a new roof and gutters on our home in May of 2024. They did a fantastic job on the installation, they left our property cleaner than they found it when they were done, and they were attentive to our questions. They even went above and beyond and attached a loose piece of siding on the second story of our home that I couldn’t reach myself. CJS Roofing replaced our roof after we had storm damage. They came out the next day and tarped the damaged area to prevent water damage. After the insurance company inspected the damage, they came back and put shingles on the damaged area. After settling with the insurance, they came back to put new shingles on the whole roof. They were very responsive and did everything we asked them to do. Their employees were hard workers and did a great job. I would highly recommend them for any of your roofing needs.

Probably the best contractor I have ever dealt with. I told them the date I wanted to have my roof done. They showed up and on time with the date I said. This was an insurance claim and dealing with Denise in the office was a pleasure. She was on top of everything. I would give this company 10 stars if possible. This is the second time we have used CJS Roofing. They are very professional and quick to respond to questions. They moved up our job when we told them we were getting gutters installed at the end of the month. They provided samples to pick styles and colors. CJS was a life saver! We needed a bid for a new roof ASAP for the possible purchase of my son's first house... they came out the next day. His roofers were professional and organized and completed a complete tear-off of the old roof and the laying of the new roof by the early afternoon and their cleanup was complete and thorough. We had used CJS 10 years ago to install a new roof in South County. We thought CJS did a great job. Quality shingle, expertly installed. At that time, a neighbor came over and asked Chris to look at her roof, she thought she might need a new one. Chris got on her roof, came back down the ladder and told her "you don't need a roof but there are some flashing areas that need caulking". He went back up and caulked. Told her no charge since he was standing in my yard anyway.
Two years ago we moved to Wentzville. We were warned by the house inspector that there were multiple issues with the shingle job the builder had put on. After living with it for two years (and praying during every wind storm that multiple shingles would not tear off) we figured we would have to bite the bullet and replace. I called, figuring they might not work this far out in St. Charles. I was thrilled that they were happy to give me a quote.
Once again their crew was fast, efficient and friendly. The roof looks fantastic. They installed ridge vent at the same time.

Our roof is a very difficult roof to shingle and CJS had a rough day about two years ago and the job site was left unacceptable. They made some mistakes, but they made it right. I just had a small roof issue two years after project completion and they came the next day and took care of it. Two years ago, I would have never thought I would recommend them but as we all know great businesses may have a bad day, but they keep working at it until they take care of their customers and CJS has proven this to me and gained my trust.

The first time I contacted CJS Roofing we had some shingles blown off during a storm. They were very responsive, helpful and quick to fix the problem. Now, several years later, I was looking for a roof replacement and got several companies to look and bid on the work. CJS Roofing was again the most responsive and helpful company with a very reasonable bid when all were considered. When everything was finalized for the work to take place, I was quoted 4-6 weeks, but they called in three weeks with an opening and did a full tear-off and installed new underlayment, vents, ridge, gutter screens and shingles in one day. Cleanup was equally as good. I would fully recommend CJS Roofing to family, friends or anyone needing good quality roofing.

They had mismeasured the roof and missed some things and Denise was able to get them to adjust the numbers to match the actual size and needs of the roof. From the beginning, they were professional and courteous, making the challenge of a new roof seem not all that bad. I am always impressed by how quick CJS gets back with me after leaving a message when those dreaded wind/hail storms hit. They also don't hesitate to answer all my questions, which is so appreciated. We always have shingles coming off after storms due to the builder putting on an inferior product (the house was a spec home already built). CJS has reasonable pricing, quick response time, and friendly employees. I'm thankful we found them and plan on using them in the future when we need a full roof replacement.

CJS Roofing did a great job on my roof. An unexpected rainstorm came through and my roof was very well protected by the crew who put a blue tarp over the area in the middle of pouring down rain! They went above and beyond to reassure me that if there were any problems due to the rain I would be taken care of. Fortunately I had no issues and the roof looks great!

Each house we've owned got a new roof put on by CJS; we also had to have repairs done on the current home when a neighbor's tree fell on the house. They were able to nearly match 15 year old shingles, and no one knew otherwise. Responsive, quality work with professionalism and friendly work.
The one thing I can say that gives CJS that added advantage: Denise in the office. A kind, caring person by nature, she also is a bulldog when it comes to dealing with your insurance company. On this last work, our insurance company undervalued a few items, and miscalculated area of guttering, and Denise got them to cover everything appropriately and without me lifting a finger. She's just that good. And cares about her customers.
Nobody's ever happy to get a roof repair/replace done, but if you have to deal with a frustrating situation, there's absolutely no one better to help you out and take care of it for you. They showed up to install the new roof when they said they would and the work is excellent. I couldn't believe the difference the new skylights made. They put plywood and tarps down to protect our rock driveway. they also asked about the roof ventilation becuase I hadn't checked if off on the contract and installed it. 'It was a good experience.
