I had such a great experience at Kia of Grand Island! I recently purchased a 2026 Kia Sportage, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Fernando Sanchez was amazing—he took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and truly made me feel like a person, not just another sale.

I was a bit indecisive throughout the process, but Fernando and the entire team were so patient, helpful, and friendly. They never rushed me and worked with me to make sure I felt confident and excited about my decision.

I’m so thankful to Fernando for helping me get my dream car. If you’re looking for a place that genuinely cares about their customers, I highly recommend this dealership!

Terrible communication skills, not very professional at all.
Was looking for a Sportage and the dealer said our sister location has the perfect one for you, so I said I'll take it. Then asked if I could put money down on it, and was told no we'll send a driver to go get it and we'll do the paperwork when you get in. We'll they never sent a driver to get it and the day before I was to pick it up I get a TEXT message saying sorry it's sold.

In response to Jordons , we were the one that wanted to put money down. Not only were we upset that you didn't send a driver to pick the car up when you said you did, but you couldn't even call us to tell us you broke your word and the deal. You had to take the chicken way out and text us.
Jordan you car dealerships alreay have a bad reputation for stretching the truth, your lie here saying you asked us to put money down is a blatant lie that is not helping that reputation.
Please be honest with your future customers !

Horrible customer service. Paid them almost 6k to replace engine in my husbands car, 2 days after we pick up the car the check engine light starts flashing and car goes into limp mode. They now expect us to pay to get it towed there, mind you we live and hour away, also want us to pay for a diagnosis fee and also told us we’ll probably have to pay out of pocket to fix it because what they “think” is wrong isn’t covered under warranty and “it was fine when they checked it before we picked it up”. They haven’t gotten back to us in 3 days, every time we call its someone else telling us different things and the lady in the beginning that we were working with, who told us they would reimburse us for a tow and wave a diag fee is “busy” every time we call. So now the car we just paid thousands of dollars for them to fix is a sitting brick in the driveway.

AND the first time we went to go pick the car up they just happened to forget to tell us when they called to say it was ready that someone backed it up into something and now it needs body work, again we live an hour away. This has been an absolute horrible experience working with them and I wouldn’t recommend trusting them with your vehicles.

I had my left and right wheel aligners, and the undershild replaced. First they ordered the wrong part but didn't Inform us until we arrived. We came back and they questioned if the pins they had would hold but said they should be fine. They were not and the left wheel liner blew off on the highway. When we called and brought it back they refused to fix it stating they had no proof it wasn't something we hit. There are no marks on my car and it was the pins that came out. I will not be going back. I feel that this was so wrong and definitely not good customer service. I'm so disappointed and will not pay to fix their mistake.

They are getting a 3 star review because they were able to get me in same day.

I went in to have a lightbulb I couldn't get to replaced. I figured it would be a 10 minute fix (I replaced the other low beam light in the dark in under 5 minutes). I was there for over an hour. I was hit with a $60+ dollar bill. This is ridiculous given I supplied the new lamp. I have done my own maintance on my cars for 20+ years. A half hour is what it took me to replace 2 tail lights with LED's including taking out my tools and looking up how to remove the tail light fixture. Standard maintance like this should never cost more than $10-15 in labor.

The Anderson Auto staff have been very attentive and polite! Let me inside over an hour early because cold outside. Then went ahead and checked me in - even when he did not have to!

BUYER BEWARE—After I was talking on phone and texting for 3 days to make sure they had vehicle I wanted Telluride EX, we drove 4.5 hour's
for our appointment to see vehicle. They had told us the price that was listed on website. I was planning on trading in my 2020 Sorento but negotiating my trade in value. We were within $250 of agreeing which we had to think about. We went to lunch at Wendy’s and the boss called while we were at lunch—-and said they had given us the wrong figure and car would be $2000. more than quoted . I had even signed paperwork saying if they could come to my figure on trade in which was $1000. lower than CarMax would give me—I felt like they should have stood behind their offer or I would never have driven 4.5 hours—from Wichita, Ks. I just want everyone to be aware of their practices. Buyer beware and they still had the same price on website for over 4 hours later.

Kia of grand island is lacking in many ways, not only do they talk down to you if you’re a woman but they will refuse to help you when all you’re asking for is simple information that Kia brags about on their opening statement on the phone message. I want to end my lease- needing information on that I went in for help. I was not helped for over 30 minutes & then I was given massive attitude. The manager will not help either. This is a good ol boys clubs, many women in town share this sentiment.

I dropped my wife's sorento off over 2 weeks ago. I call almost every day trying to get an update. It's in for the dreaded rod bearing motor issue. Another local mechanic found metal in the motor so I brought it in for the warranty replacement. The service manager at KIA of Grand island told me sometimes KIA only covers a partial replacement and that they haven't looked at it yet. SCAM alert. They're trying to get paid under warranty and by the customer. I was going to wait to post this because my vehicle is still there, but this has been going on too long.

We did not have a good experience here. The staff were not friendly. We appeared to be disturbing them. They did not want to give us a good trade in for the 2023 kia we purchased and hated. H&H Kia in Omaha did much better and were very good to work with. We will avoid Anderson at all cost!

******PLEASE SEE UPDATE BELOW******
I am EXTREMELY Disappointed in the Service Department/Parts Department - or Lack there of........I've attempted twice already to get an appointment to take care what is now Two Recalls........They don't work on Saturday so for those not residing in Grand Island - **Keep this in Mind** My first attempt was through the Kia App that advised me of the Recall. I submitted a request from the App for the Service Department to contact me. Needless to say - I was never contacted. This last time I made an appointment myself, after having to take vacation hours from my employer. My appointment was set for this Friday. Thankfully I called today to be sure they had all the parts needed for Both of the Recalls. Of course they do not have the parts on hand and are days away from having them.......thus again, I'll need to reschedule once again. Again - I'm Extremely Disappointed. If only getting service work done was as easy as purchasing the car to begin with..............ZERO Stars for the Service Department.

With the Assistance and Follow-Through from Dan, Steve, and Glenn - I'm EXTREMELY HAPPY TO UPDATE THIS POST WITH ALL 5 STARS.
What had escalated into A Big Disappointment with the Service Department - has been COMPLETELY MADE RIGHT!!!
Thankfully - I'm Back to Being a VERY SATISFIED KIA of GRAND ISLAND Customer!

Asked for new wiper blades and car washed. I got in car at 3 pm and checked my receipt . No wipers were on invoice. I had to call and Javier said they did not have any in stock, would have been totally fine had I been notified/told they had to order some. I had to call to find out about wiper status. Then asked about car not being washed, it was blamed on person bringing my car back to me. Passing on blame not cool, take responsibility and follow through with top customer service even if there were problems, chance to make not happy customer to an understanding customer.

I have always had amazing service here. The work on my car is completed in a timely manner, and any additional service they recommend is explained clearly. They provide a courtesy shuttle so you don’t have to wait, and if you choose to wait, they have coffee on hand.

From start to finish Anderson Ford checked every box!
Stephanie made my appointment ensuring the warranty issue could be completed on a Saturday.
Javier checked me in rapidly. There was more than one recall and they fixed both so I wouldn't have to make a second trip.
The techs Ben and Scott servicing my car displayed an ultimate positive attitude even after going past closing because the update took longer than expected.
I highly recommend Anderson Ford of GI to anyone looking for great customer service!
