John Beal Roofing - Saint Louis, MO

Don't use them. John beal is completely 100% using Mexico sub contractors for any roofing installation. They only have very, very very employees for roofing repair. Majority jobs are using sub contractors only. So they are not a roofing company. They are pure roofing sales and marketing company. They pay their sub contractors 70 to 80 dollars for installation and the material costs only 120 to 150 dollars per square. And they are selling around 400-500 dollars per square and their gross margin is 50-65%. Their default margin is 25% and every sales add what they can sell and they can get 10%. They are lying about the quality if they only use Mexican sub. As a so called family own well known roofing company they squeeze sales income and no paid gas i heard maybe they are paying a little bit now But you still have to waste hundreds of dollars while you not get paid for any insurance order for several months. We got paid every month 800 and we are spending more than 1000 on gas from our own pocket and we had no money to pay house mortgage and even daily life food. You are right we got paid 800 per month and that's all. That's how much you can make from John beal and the company keeps a gross profit 65 to 70% while paying 70-80 dollars to Mexican and hold the majority money to sales. Don't work for them and don't hire them and never use them. The boss is extremely stingy.

My elderly parents were not sure they needed a roof. After getting hit with several hail storms they were concerned. To be safe, they called Derek Metcalf with John Beal roofing and received a free evaluation. Mr. Metcalf and his team determined the roof was damaged and should be replaced. He worked closely with their insurance company and replaced their roof within 2 weeks. We could not be more pleased.

Super unprofessional not only did they come out at an unscheduled time but they woke up my entire household at 6am just to ask to park in my driveway as if people don't have to get up and still go to work. They threw their trash in my yard along woth cigarettes after i asked him not to smoke because of children, they were constantly yelling which not only got complaints from the neighbors but letter from HOA. ALL BEFORE 8AM! They don't NOT conduct themselves professionally at all!!!!!! They talk to you as if you're one of their friends that they're doing a favor for instead of customer. I have investment unit and I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN.

My experience with John Beal was pretty good as far as the being work being done, however I was quoted a bid that was within my budget, but when the job was done it was a thousand more than it was supposed to be. I told the salesman my budget and that could not afford more than that. Now I’m stuck trying to pay off this debt. I’m so upset, I feel cheated.

I would like give a Big SHOUT OUT to JOHN BEAL ROOFING Co., company deserves five stars and then some, this was my second time using John Beal co. Had my roof installed back in 2016,and more recent chimney tucking and dormer windows resided with new siding, The workers had a long, hard day but did a great job! It was dark when they finished so they came back out the next day to check their work and clean up. I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend John Beal for your home projects. Vincent Pavia was always very professional and patient with the many questions and concerns I had regarding my protects to if even working with me on my pockets. To always being on time.!
