Watch out for this company. I denied their recommendation for an entire roof replacement. I just had them replace missing shingles after a wind storm. After the next heavy rain, water started gushing down the front of my house into the interior. This had never happened before their workers were on my roof. Coincidence???

Gutterman Service notified me in advance of the arrival of the team. The two team members did a thorough job clearing leaf debris off of the roof, and hosing the downspouts. They also used a pad on an extended pole to clean the outside of the spouts. Very pleased with the work.

I've had a great experience from working with Tim to set everything up to the two techs who did the gutter cleaning. You were recommended to me by my friend Tara Soesbee and she was right.

Great same day service. The technician, Nathan, effectively diagnosed the problem with the thermostat as the reason my air conditioner quit working. He provided several thermostat models and described the features and price. Once he installed the model I selected, he took the time to explain how to use it.

We've been using Gutterman for several years now for gutter cleaning. Even since becoming part of Ned's Home, scheduling continues to be easy. Service is performed promptly and professionally. Price is reasonable. No complaints!

I have posted "no stars" since I have experienced the worst possible services. Due to a faulty gutter installation, my house incurred significant water damage. After repeated requests Ned corrected gutter problem but refused to honor the workmen guarantee claiming it was a Gutterman warranty issue and I would hear something. Several hundred dollars were spent repairing the damage. Ned refused to reimburse me and said Gutterman would follow-up. After repeated calls nothing was done. A photo of the damages is attached.

Crew did an outstanding job on pressure-washing our home. They were in and out in just over and hour and the place looks brand new. I appreciated that they took the time to tape over the external outlets so there was no chance of tripping a breaker and then went around later to take it all off. This is our second time using Gutterman to clean the house and I'd recommend them to anyone needing this service.

We think they did a good job, but it’s hard to tell. They said they would call in advance to let us know when they would come but instead texted five minutes before the ladder was up. Then they said they would send us a report with photos of the work they did and the state of the roof and gutters but never did. They were super focused on upselling to the point of creepy telling us they had photos of our patio and air vents showing they needed work when all they were supposed to do was clean our gutters. It seems the local company that had helped us two years ago was bought by some national company called “Ned’s” which was also confusing because we didn’t recognize them when they came to our home. We thought we had scheduled the work with the old local company. Sad the country is getting taken over by private equity firms running all these companies into the ground.

Here we go again. The kid on the phone tells me it's not their fault... Blah, blah, blah. Which is exactly the same conversation I had with a person in January, except he listened and let me send pictures. From that conversation a team came out per below. At that time i also spent a great deal of time discussing the issue again with a manager on the phone. Everything was cool. Until I ask them to follow through.

The kid on the phone was inexperienced but well versed in shifting all responsibility back to client. And whining that I had no reason to be upset with him. Please, play back the recorded conversation.

Anyway- except for the original purchase, every single conversation has been difficult.

I want a refund. These new gutters are no better than my 28 year old gutters. Customer service is horrible

I had new gutters and shields installed almost a year ago. The new system worked great with the rain, but the recent snow/freezing temps almost immediately stopped water from draining. Everything froze. Water dripped and froze below my front door and partly down the steps.

I walked my short street and did not see this occurring in any town home that was the same model as mine. Nor did I see it on other models.

I had new gutters installed because my old ones had been through some significantly bad weather over 27 years... And water was dripping over the gutters in the back and the water was freezing in front and causing the same issue above. Ugh!

I called Gutterman/Neds. We discussed the issue. I sent several pictures. I said I understood that no one could come out until the weather was better.

They came out much sooner than expected and cleared the ice from the down spout. It was labor intensive. I was/am extremely grateful that they came out and took care of this.

They will come back in better weather, when it's safe, and try to determine why this happened. I spoke with a manager. Once he understood that I had lived here 28 years, had been through many, many winter storms much worse than this, that no other townhome in my immediate area had the same issue - he agreed that it could be the gutter installation. They would perform an inspection.

Again, I'm very grateful they came out and cleared the ice and that they will perform an inspection. I am concerned about up coming snowy weather.

I had to work very hard to convince them that it was not the location of my townhouse or the 'huge' storm we had.

I will follow up on this issue. Hopefully it will have a happy ending.

I will say they do a great job cleaning our gutters!
My only gripe this year is that they chose to clean our gutters during Christmas weekend on a Sunday morning. My family, myself included and even our neighbors we disturbed by the noise.
Next time please choose a non weekend and midday time for gutter cleaning.

It was very easy to schedule a gutter cleaning and the workers arrived very quickly in the time window I was given. They also left the area very clean. My only quibble is the price - much higher than in the past but inflation has taken us all there.

Updated. Kristy from Ned’s home quickly reached out to me and made it right. She also offered that our next service would receive the price that Gutterman charged us the last few years. I’m happy with the customer support so I raise this review to 5 stars.

They raised the price up 25% compared to the prior year and they gave me 15% off . I did not like how they did their pricing, I did not agree to the quote and told them that I don’t want to schedule the service. They scheduled it anyway and showed up to clean the gutters when I was away.

Things went great. The crew showed up early, set up and started the repair and was completed just like that. A very nice group of guys. Asked if I had any questions or concerns. I said no and they told me to have a nice day. I can highly recommend this company.

The final result of the window Cleaning was excellent. The reason I did not give them 5 stars is because it required them making a second trip to complete the cleaning of several windows. I would hire them again.

I've used Gutterman Services for many years, but they are even better under Ned Stevens. I recently had my drain spouts replaced from roof to ground to improve water drainage from the roof, and it was properly and securely customized for each unique location. They have great technology for scheduling, notifications, invoicing, etc. However, friendly kknowledgeable staff were always easy to reach by phone. I've now scheduled some power-washing and algae control on my deck

They were supposed to replace gutters on two porches in the back and replace the fascia board on the left side
They came out to do the job. They got one side done. The brought fascia board that was the wronhg width and couldn't do the left side. Another crew came out the next day with a piece of untreated unpainted wood...It was obviosly too thick. I told him so. He refused to listen. He proceeded to spray some paint on it and nailed it up. I told him it was too thick. He got angry. I took pictures and sent to office. Only then did he stop work and leave...without gutters and with openings where the gutters and fascia were. They finally sent a manager out to look at it and he agreed that it was too thick. He removed the piece and said they would come out the next day with either 2 inch otr 1 inch fascia. He came out with another crew and finally after three days the job was done...I lost three days of work because of them...I want to know where to send the bill for lost income.

This was my first use of the new company. I could not get a confirmed date when I called and did have to call again like 7 days later to ask about my status. The corners of my gutters were really stopped up and we continued to get rain. At that point they scheduled me for next day. Jorge’s team did show up in full gear and did use the stay-off ladders I requested, I have 6 inch new gutters. I was able to talk with them about the clogged areas. They were receptive to my concerns, even worked through a light rain. I was relieved and satisfied on completion. The cost for me on the phone was $185 but on billing it was $188, the addition to help with supplies. Overall a small price to pay for not going up on your roof! I will use again.

Shane is very responsive and takes customer satisfaction seriously. It is very good to have a reliable and trustworthy company making sure that our gutters get cleaned out regularly so that we do not have to think about it and/or panic when we have serious storms. Neds seems to be upholding the standards we came to expect from Gutterman Services. Thank you, Guys.

Would give no stars if it were an option. Gutterman was great until they were bought out by Ned Stevens. Ned Stevens provides no advanced notice of arrival, other than a text message when they are 5 minutes away. Fortunately I was home. They do not check to see if the water is coming out of the gutter drains, which is pretty basic. Gave me a card saying my drains were clear until I pointed out that water was not coming out one underground drain. They had to ask where it was - i.e., hadn't bothered to look. Seeing it was dry, they then told me it was clogged/needed to be snaked - which NS doesn't do. I told them it was more likely they didn't put sufficient water near that downspout. (That drain hasn't been clogged in 3 decades, the gutters have screens, no trees nearby etc.). They disputed - said they had put MUCH water down. They said they would do it again to show me. Then they broke my front outdoor faucet they had been using, so had to use the back outdoor faucet. As soon as they turned the water on, it came gushing out of the previously dry underground drain - i.e., proof they hadn't even sufficiently run water in the gutter, much less checked to see if it cleared the gutter. They gave me $50 off the job b/c they broke my outside faucet, which is going to cost north of $500 to repair as it has to be ordered and the copper pipe inside the house cut and welded to install a new one. I cancelled the contract.

Fantastic work! They are thorough and efficient. Staff that are out as well as the sales team are professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend for gutter replacement and maintenance.

They did a fantastic job. We could see them from our second floor rooms, the thorough job they were doing, using tools , hands & hose water, to clear everything. They also did a thorough job cleaning all around the house, the detritus from the roof & gutters, that fell to the ground. They leaf blew everything & hose everything down. Our property was left better than before they got there. Great job. Thoroughly impressed. Thank you.

Ned’s is not Gutterman. We agreed on a price for service & approximate schedule but they came when it was convenient for them not us. We were out of town & they only did part of the cleaning. Since I had to give them my credit card I was credited the full amount & told it would cost another $245 (more than doubling the agreed price) to return & complete the service. After 15 years of contract service with Gutterman, Ned’s was an disappointment.

I was really concerned about one aspect of where the water drains off our roof. Our advisor understood exactly what I meant over the phone. The crew did exactly what our advisor suggested, and I didn’t have to tell them a second time. I am super happy With the installation!

The team showed up during the promised two week window. They did an excellent job but missed one area. Understandable because it was pouring rain. I called for a revisit and they returned within days of my call.

The gutter cleaning service provided by Gutterman Services was timely, professional and courteous. We also appreciated that the service was quick. They also worked with us to set up the annual cleaning service as per our schedule. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Highly professional. I should have used them years ago. Excellent job done quickly, competently and safely. It's been a long time since our gutters were this clean. They also cleaned up the grounds afterward.

I got second service this last week. They did a great job; no supervision necessary.

Used Gutterman to install a new roof and gutters less than 4 years ago. We have a warranty on our roof that extends to at least 10 years. Our roof is leaking and when we called to have them honor the warranty and fix it we were told they were bought out by another company which, in turn, makes our warranty null and void. No one even tried to help us. I’m surprised after reading some of these reviews that people had roofing done less than 2 months ago. Customers beware.

Review Update: I’m glad I decided to write a review because Jessica called within hours to remedy the situation. Whoever fielded our initial call from the new company was not helpful and was SUPPOSED to send us to Jessica but they didn’t. Jessica promptly remedied that situation and got Jaime out within a couple of days to check out our roof and fixed the problem on the spot (honoring our warranty). THAT my friends is customer service done right. Thank you to Jessica and Jaime for helping us!

Great, local business with a top-notch team that won’t let you down at any turn. We replaced our roof, siding, trim, gutters, and window capping.

Project Management – Jorge is amazing, helped us prioritize what we needed within budget, didn’t upsell or pressure us, and kept everything on track and was easily accessible.

Roofing – Jaime is fantastic, everything was done quickly, but also done very well. Easy to see his focus on quality and correct installation, not just getting it done quickly

Siding/Trim – Chris and team are top notch, they aren’t the fastest, but have a very clear focus on getting things done in a way that leaves the owner happy at the end of the project (lots of little customizations, since it’s all done manually).

Now to the project; Their roofing team is top notch. Jaime was the roofing lead and he is incredible. Very communicative if something came up, but really knocked the roof out quickly without seeming to rush it. My best anecdote about how much he cares – in order to do the siding they have to anchor scaffolding to the roof, Jamie didn’t like how the shingles looked where they anchored it, so he came back and replaced all the shingles in that area after the siding was done, totally unprompted. You can tell that his priority is making sure the job is done correctly, not just done.

The siding/trim team is also top notch. They “outsource” this part, but it’s local family owned team that’s top notch. Chris was our main POC, and he’s fantastic. His dad’s experience is second to none, manually bending, cutting, and installing the siding and trim. Chris wasn’t shy to ask questions about what we want done to make sure we were happy with the final result. They caught some rotted plywood when replacing siding and ran to the store and replaced it. They asked about one area that had no insulation to see if we wanted them to fill it in. They also added some designs to the trim on the front of our house which really makes it look cleaner and more intentional where we previously had flat and boring spots under windows and over our garage. We did have one issue where some siding started to sag a little about a month or two after installation, I believe it was within 48 hours Chris was out and fixed the issue, but also checked other spots to make sure it was all good to go. There was no hemming and hawing, he was very (unnecessarily) apologetic and kind about the issue.

Back to Jorge for a minute – he was our main POC for the entire project, from initial review, quote, installation, and punch list items after the fact. He really helped us visualize the project in its entirety, which wasn’t easy given everything we had to do. We changed the colors of the entire house, but he also suggested the sun tunnels which have been absolutely fantastic. He really helped us stay within budget without trying to upsell us out all.
He also helped us in prioritizing things like the sun tunnels, which add a lot of value to us in terms of getting more natural light in our home at a lower cost than skylights and in a way that is much more likely to stand the test of time without leaking or other issues. We originally wanted insulated siding, but when looking at the budget that was an easy one to cut out to save money, while still ensuring we're getting quality siding that will lost, and there was no push to get it back or increase our costs. Jorge was also here almost every important day when work was being done, he’d come at the beginning of each leg as well as the end, and sometimes stayed the entire day. As mentioned, they had great leads (Jaime and Chris), but it was also nice to have Jorge checking in throughout the project. He was very accessible and responsive through text, phone, and email any time we had questions or concerns (I don’t actually remember any concerns). I couldn’t recommend Jorge enough to help with your project.

I have used Gutterman Services, Inc. over the years for my gutters and my roofing. Each time was a great experience. This week I had them come out because a piece of siding (that they had not installed btw) came off in a storm. I called them and they were out here today and once again did a great job. I highly recommend them for all types of homeowner jobs. They are that good! Thank you!

We used Gutterman services to replace a part of our roof that was rotted. Gutterman was punctual, professional and got the job done in a timely manner. The team at Gutterman were customer- service focused and dedicated to making the experience a positive one in each interaction. I highly recommend Gutterman services for your next roofing job!

Jim C has provided great advice and help in taking care of my personal roof and replacing two other roofs on rental properties for me. I trust and ocunt on Jim for continued fine service.

Not sure what part of "don't kill my plants" they didn't get. Or how many times i told them. But they managed to not listen and kill everything when doing the house power washing. Used to brag on these guys, but that's over. Cost way too much to have that bad a job.

Gutterman apologized for the issue. Terry came out to my place and assessed the damages. He was completely cool and easy to work with. They took money off the overall bill to help fix the damages. Updated my review since they went beyond to right a wrong. Much appreciated!

The staff from Gutterman Services performed a thorough dryer vent cleaning service in a timely fashion at my house recently. I was grateful for this assistance!

We used Gutterman Services to replace our old gutters on our townhouse. Jorge came out to give us an estimate and was extremely friendly and professional. He answered all of our questions and set up our installation. The crew came while we were at work, installed the new gutters and had everything cleaned up before we got home! I would recommend this company for its service and price over many of the other companies we had provide us with estimates.

Updated: Gutterman was very responsive in addressing my concerns and scheduling accordingly, so I have updated my review scoring accordingly.

I have been using this company for the past couple years and I've been pretty disappointed with the service. I signed up for their twice yearly service and I always have to follow up them to schedule, instead of them proactively coming to us. Secondly, signing up for the service is supposed to give you priority servicing but I don't count May as priority servicing. Although the service of their work is good, it's just generally frustrating to engage them.

A recent windy day took down a downspout that was three levels high. Gutterman came out to reattach it - took all of 10 min and the charge was very fair. Thanks!

Gutterman is top notch. Helpful, pleasant, easy to deal with and they do excellent work. I used other services in the past and they are now my preferred provider.

For getting gutters cleaned, they were quite good. Timely, efficient, reasonably priced for the area. But we asked them to also help with a gutter repair/reroute, which they agreed to do. After their visit plus four phone calls and multiple promises (by the person supposedly on charge of repairs) to get back to us, we gave up. How many times can you beg a company to take your money?

I am updating this review, as Gutterman responded to my issues and came to complete the repairs I originally requested. Sarah, the company owner, was very apologetic and insistent on fixing my issues. I thank Sarah and Gutterman for responding and reacting to our issues, and because of that I would use Gutterman again in the future.

Have used them twice with excellent results. They are punctual and efficient and leave the premises cleaner than they found it.

From the first phone call to final installation, Gutterman was responsive, professional, reasonably priced and friendly. The installation team was on time, friendly and quick. Old gutters and trash we removed and the house looks great.

I have been using Gutterman Services, Inc to clean my gutters for about
8-10 years. The crew comes on time, cleans up debris from gutters, leaves a note about the condition of gutters and recommendations if there is a problem, and is very courteous.

No notice of the date that my gutters were to be serviced. Futhermore, I was not home when they showed up. They used a latter to climb over my locked fence to access my outside water faucet. In addition, they damaged my chimney while servicing my gutters. Attached are some photos of this damage. Very dissatisfied!!!

Always great service from Gutterman (now Ned's Home) and they do a lot more than gutter cleaning. I've used them for several jobs and they always do thorough and professional work.
