We were on our way to go on vacation from North Carolina and coming over a hill on I 77 we heard a pop and lost power in our truck and we were towing our Camper trailer. We found Greenbrier Ford and stopped in to find out what was wrong. The people were so nice and immediately helped us. We’re were in and out within an hour! We’re so grateful and appreciate their excellent service!

My parents who are older purchased a truck here in December of 2024. It got a terrible smell, after two weeks at the dealership they found the windshield had leaked due to a manufacturing issue. (Not the dealerships fault) HOWEVER, upon fixing the leak and replacing the carpet the first time, on the receipt they had told Ford that the carpet was "too short" per the customer, which was a straight up LIE. Fast forward two months, th windshield leaks again, this time, its in the service dept for ONE MONTH, after two weeks we went to retrieve some belongings out of the truck, and the carpet was STILL WET, they had made ZERO attempts to even dry the carpet aside from letting the windows down and letting mother nature take care of it. I feel like the service department communicated the actual issues to FORD very ineffectively, i feel like there were numerous lies told between the service department to Ford motor company. After one month of the truck sitting at the dealership, they went back to get it and within the week it started to smell again, it was taken back for a third time and told "theres nothing else we can do, but we can trade with you" Trade...? Trade a truck that has a manufacture defect?...Who in their right mind would do that?! We have always purchased from this dealership, have always had decent customer service, until now, now i would not recommend ANYONE buy a vehicle from here.

I have an F250 with the check engine light on and they told me #1 oil pack was bad but wanted to change them all and charge me $1800. I had them change the one they said was bad and still have the check engine light on after driving less than 100 miles

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with these guys. I was on my way through heading back to NY and my car broke down on a Friday night. After getting towed and told by multiple shops nobody could look at my car until at LEAST Monday, Shannon made some miracles happen and my car was fixed and back on the road by noon Saturday. Not only that, but being a young female stranded at a hotel with her two dogs in the middle of nowhere- she was able to have one of the salesman bring my car to me since I had no other means of transportation. My faith in humanity has been fully restored because of Shannon, Greg, and the rest of the crew who helped me get back on the road. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Overpriced, bad communication, long turn around time because they don’t have Ford parts in stock even though they’re a Ford dealership. Took them three separate visits to find the problem I said it was from the beginning. Was considering trading in my Explorer for a new one but I definitely won’t be doing it here.

I drove from Parkersburg, WV to Beckley, WV (152 miles) and dropped off my truck on Tue, 6 May 25 at 0800. Was told it would be fixed by Fri, 9 May 25. I got a call on Thu, 8 May telling me the truck was done. I picked it up on Fri, 8 May after returning a rental car. I paid Ford $2,532.21 for the repair. I drove it less than 2 miles , and the same thing I brought it in to have fixed for was still present as the truck ran. I looked at the mileage on the repair order and the mileage when I picked it up and only 1 mile had turned over, telling me the truck had not been taken for a TEST drive. I took it right back to Ford. The lady at the desk took my key, entered it back into their system after going outside and getting the mileage from my truck. She then called the same rental car place I had just dropped off the rental car I had had from 6 May to 9 May. On Thu, 15 May I called Ford no less than 7 times during the day, and not 1 of my phone calls was ever answered. Since no one ever picked up the phone at Ford I could not even leave a message. The ladies at the desk were great, and I in no way are upset with them. They are not the one's who worked on my truck. I am now back in Parkersburg and have no idea how to get through to Ford in Beckley to see about the status of my truck. I'm not pleased with Ford in Beckley, WV at all.

Just called and ask for cost of a 40k mile maintenance check up and oil change and service manager said they would have to change all fluids and would cost around $2,000 lol I have heard nothing but negative things from this dealership but I thought I would give them a chance but they are a joke!!!

If you're a black person DO NOT COME HERE!!!!I came here for transmission problems. They gave me the run around on everything..then told me they can't fix it.
I went to go recover my belongings from it & my personal preporty is gone. They literally even stole my Bible.
I fully believe they're shop stole my stuff simply out of spite and racism. What leads me to believe this is the way I treated & the fact that out of all these cameras, they have nothing on tape & did not call police nor did they tell me on the phone. Not to mention no other vehicles were targeted or broken into. Greenbrier Ford & is an extremely racist place.
The pics below are how I received it when I returned and how I left it them. I left it very neat and in order.

I had a hard time finding a mechanic to work on a timing chain Ecoboost motor. I decided to try a ford dealer. They said yes to the timing chain replacement and were positive on the phone.
When I arrived 3 employees were laughing and talking loudly. I wasn't greeted or welcomed in. The 4th employee helped me.
I agreed to pay a fee for a inspection to determine the problem. They charge $232 after tax to look at my truck and tell me whats wrong with it.
The person working the desk is not a technician and has limited knowledge of mechanics. I'm a gearhead and expect to talk to a mechanic. Dealerships like to buffer the customer tech interaction.
I was told the next day the engine and turbos were blown. I drove there. A blown motor doesn't drive. I figured the turbo was bad and leaking oil causing the smoke.
I was quoted $13,500 for a used motor replacement with 120,000 miles or $16,500 for a new motor. Way to much for me.
When I picked up my truck I had to wait for the technician to get back from lunch ok no big deal. After paying I had to wait for them to bring the truck around. A little annoying but no big deal. I finally drove around back and got my truck myself. I popped the hood to put oil in for the drive to the next shop. It was low as expected. Which told me they didn't even check the oil. I looked over the motor it appeared untouched. Coil packs were all dirty. They didn't even pull a sparkplug.
The technician came out and said it has no oil pressure and he "listened" to the motor. He said the crank bearings are bad.
I can tell when I'm being lied to or taken advantage of. Both employees had that looking at their shoes look. Not much eye contact. They took my money and didn't earn it.
When I left I drove another 20 miles to a real mechanic that determined that one turbo was leaking oil causing the smoke, timing chain maybe cam phasers. Probably going to cost 2 to 4 grand.
Legally Greenbrier Ford did nothing wrong. I agreed to their policy. I paid their fee. But they were dishonest or lazy.
I hope they reply to this post but the only apology I will accept is a refund of $232.

We have been through the vehicle purchasing process multiple times. It is not a pleasant experience, just hate negotiating and the back and forth ALL day affair. Our experience at Greenbrier Ford was amazing. Everyone we meet and dealt with there was a total class act. I had made four trips there to look and test drive this truck prior to making our decision. Tim Massey and Brian Wheeler were the best salesmen we have had the pleasure to deal with. Patient and not pushy extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Kevin the sales manager went out of his way to meet our desires and needs. Once we agreed upon the deal. We were able to sign paperwork and take possession very quickly. Less an hour. If you are in the market for a vehicle. I would HIGHLY Recommend Greenbrier Ford. They have made a true relationship with my family. Thank you very much!

I’ve had terrible experiences. First explorer I bought from a ford dealer out of state, had one owner. Developed a ghost drain that this service dept couldn’t find. They said the body control module had been messed with and made it seem like my fault, pretty much forced into trading and they have me like 6k less in trade in value because of that but I had to have a car. Bought a new explorer. That one was totaled and had to get another, so bought another new one from them. This one developed ANOTHER ghost drain. Started with shutting off while it was running, I had to wait 4 weeks for an appointment to get in, had to have it towed there. When my time came, they didn’t get it in to service fro another week until I called and mentioned that I saw it sitting behind the building. They told me it was a bad starter. Took about 6 weeks to get it back. A week after I got it back, it did the same thing. Had to have it towed again and at this point was without a car for about 8 weeks. They said it was a battery this time. I asked how they could have not found that from the first time. Then they said they didn’t get power to the starter from the first test so it could have been a battery the entire time and tried to charge me 600 for a new battery. I refused that and got the car and bought a multimeter test so I could test at my house. I tested alternator, battery, car and found the battery was holding a load test but had a parasitic drain. They couldn’t find this. I tried to call and talk to the service manager and the manager of the dealership to see what they could do since I had the unlimited mile, lifetime warranty. Service said there is nothing they could do. Sales manager I tried to make a deal and said I would be willing to buy another brand new explorer from them if they could make it right, since they’ve had so many issues before. Charged me too much for tires, just problem after problem when I took the car in. So their offer was 1k off the sale price and 3k under the KBB value of the car. 1k was being offered online for the car so no deal there at all. Then talked them up to the value of the car and nothing else, so after all of that, their magical off for a customer who has bought multiple brand new cars from them was the same offer anyone else gets when purchasing online and the same value for the trade in. It’s crazy and they have no customer service at all. It’s always the consumers getting screwed and I would never work with this dealer again and advise everyone else not to as well. I switched vehicle brands now because of this

I do not want to leave a bad review as I understand that my car broke down and was towed there on December 20 during the holidays, and employees were off and you were short-staffed. Today is now the 20th day for my car being there with no indication of the time-frame that I'm looking at for repairs. Shannon has been quite helpful in this situation. On speaker phone, a Ford warranty representative stated that my rental, Ford or non-ford would be covered with my warranty for 10 days, up to $60/day. Now I'm being told that it's an out-of-pocket expense although the transmission is covered under my warranty. This is a bit much. I'm needing more definitive information as to the status/repairs of my vehicle.
I appreciate your time, efforts and feedback.

I had a very stong antifreeze smell come from my engine on my 2024 mistsubish Eclipse Cross After a few hours the service dept stated that thier was nothing wrong with my car. THe smell was coming from the vent tube on my resavor tank. And it is normal to smell this. I drive cars for a living and have driven many of this model and have never smell this before. My car haves 7000 miles on it.

I am not one to do reviews but after dealing with Greenbrier Ford Beckley and top shelf salesman Mr.Brian Wheeler, I feel compelled to do so. All the staff were very professional, easygoing, fair,and pleasant to do business with. I have purchased 18 vehicles in 40 years, Greenbrier Ford was the best car buying experience i have ever had. Mr. Brian Wheeler, best salesman my wife and I have purchased from. Brian went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied 110%. Also Brian is a down to earth man, felt like I had known him for years even though we had just became acquainted, and this has nothing to do with cars, but 13 years as underground coal miner! ( Thank You Sir) I knew he was good people, didn't need to say anything else to us to know, hard working, trustworthy, professional man. Dealership and Mr. Wheeler are straight up and not alot of back and forth, fastest car deal I have ever done. Got what we wanted with little effort. Also we drove 2 1/2 hours from Roanoke Va. We had an incredible experience with Ron Hood at Greenbrier Ford during what could have been a stressful time. While traveling, our car unexpectedly broke down, and we needed a quick, reliable replacement. Ron went above and beyond to help us out immediately.

From the moment the service department introduced Ron, he made us feel at ease, understanding the urgency of our situation. Service department is lacking. Technicians are not thorough and don’t want to find the problem. Had to diagnose my own truck’s problem with the service manager in the parking lot because technician didn’t listen to symptoms and investigate. Clerk could not find keys for a gentleman’s Bronco when I was waiting to checkout. Girl at counter was there for 2 days and inadequately trained.

I got a phone call from the vp to come in they have great deals get the vip treatment I traded a 2010 Buick lacrosse with 55k miles on it in great shape they wouldn’t even tell me what the trade in value was until after the paperwork was signed talk about a slap in the face they did that gave 1000 dollars trade an they are selling it for 8k don’t ever go to them for business after I confronted them about the trade in the did not want to talk to me an they still won’t

Service is horrible! Would not recommend! Look elsewhere my 15YO son found the problem their service department couldn’t find after 5 hours! And they wanted to keep my vehicle another day to look for the issue! After the mechanic & service manager drove the vehicle & couldn’t find where the noise was coming from! It was a lose wheel spacer
