We just completed our third project with Green Mountain, the clearest indicator of a satisfied customer. We originally hired them to do some roof work on our main house and were heavily influenced at the time by their willingness to go back to a very picky customer until everything was to their satisfaction. We haven't had to play that card as the work they have done for us has been impeccable and - knock on wood - trouble free. They are not the cheapest but they are certainly the best. Any resident in Santa Fe knows how important a good roof is and how continuing difficulties can make that original "bargain" fade into a distant memory quickly. Almonzo is also a cut above in the transactional department - punctual, careful and a superb communicator - an overall joy to deal with. We just keep coming back and wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

If you are wondering who to get to reroof your house, the Green Mountain team is the one to do it! Almanzo was so punctual and professional as he worked with us to install a TPO membrane roof and replace the underlayment under the tile portions of our roof. Almanzo and Daniel, his chief installer, kept us updated on every stage of the process. The whole installation, tile and flat roof, went smoothly and quickly. The team cleaned up each day. No mess! We had a leak which had plagued us for years, and Daniel’s team paid special attention to get fixed it. Highly recommend Green Mountain for roof work!

We have had Green Mountain Contractors Inc replace one TPA roof, do maintainence on a TPA roof at another property, as well as some interior rain damage repair and external stucco cleaning and crack repair. We have been pleased with all! The estimate were reasonable and not subject to changes.

Best of all, Green Mountain has superb customer service. Almanzo, the Lead Project Manager, responded to calls or texts promptly, or called to inform us of weather or other necessary delays. The work was completed on time and to our complete satisfaction. Clean-up was exceptional and above expectations.

Green Mountain consulted with me at my home before they started. The checked accessibility and the roof to be re roofed. They completed the tear off in one day and put down the vapor barrier. They also completed the new roof in one day. They worked around my existing solar collectors, my greatest priority. The crew worked so hard and so well together. From protecting the interior with plastic, to the care they took in the tear off, to the protection of the solar collectors, everything was done efficiently, professionally and with the highest quality. A neighbor recommended Green Mountain, and we are so glad he did! GMCI’s owner, Zach, was helpful and responsive throughout. I had filed an insurance claim, and Zach and Jolene, GMCI’s insurance specialist, communicated directly with the insurance company throughout the insurance process to make sure the correct materials and damages were included. Jolene’s responsiveness and patience made the whole process completely stress-free for me. Almanzo oversaw and managed the work crew, and was here every day to update me. The entire process was smooth, from developing an estimate, to providing my HOA the information it required, to working with my insurance company, to performing the job beautifully and on (actually ahead of) schedule, and to cleaning up. My roof is beautiful, and Green Mountain was great from start to finish!

Green Mountain Contractors installed a metal roof on my house in October 2020. The crew was polite, professional, showed up when scheduled, completed the project by the anticipated date, cleaned up each day & were a joy to work with. I love the metal roof & have no regrets about replacing the shingled roof. Most recently, I discovered what I thought to be a roof leak in my garage. Jolene, in the GMCI office, was very responsive & had a foreman scheduled to check my roof the very next day. I am so grateful to report that my roof is perfectly fine. The foreman & his assistant discovered a container of ice melt pellets that had exploded & was slowly melting, causing the apparent leak. I'm sure they had a good laugh about it but were polite, professional & showed empathy in my moment of embarrassment. Thank you, GMCI, for saving the day, resolving "the leak", & being so responsive.

GMC replaced my roof a couple years ago and I ended up with a leak. They came out within a couple days to inspect. Turns out it was pigeons nesting in a canaly. Roof was perfect. It was a please working with them from initial bid through replacement, and then them checking up on it. 100% would use them again. Friendly service, great craftsmanship, and amazing customer support. I bid the roof to 5 companies, they were square in the middle. Could not have been happier with their work. Next property, I'll only bid them.

We purchased a flat roof, southwestern style, home with a transferable roof warranty provided by Green Mountain. When we experienced two small leaks, I contacted them hoping for the best. Thankfully, that is what we received: prompt service with excellent workmanship and at no cost.
Subsequently, we had Green Mountain replace all of our skylights. Again the work was performed on time and without add-on expense; done exactly as per their estimate.
Bottom line, we are totally satisfied with and highly recommend Green Mountain Contractors.

After reviewing five proposals from area businesses, we selected Green Mountain. They replaced our old, awful, leaky roof, finishing on Sept. 1. Three weeks later there was a horrible hail storm. Almanzo, who managed the Sept. job, and the insurance inspector determined the roof needed re-replacing. Almanzo and Green Mountain handled both jobs quickly, professionally. The owner Zachary was very responsive to our needs. We have a beautiful, no leak roof. Their warranties are great, so we know they'll take care of any future problems. I highly, highly recommend!

We had Green Mountain update our stucco. We are extremely pleased with the result. It is absolutely beautiful and looks stunning. They did a great job cleaning up and protecting our landscaping near the house.

The level of communication, follow-up, scheduling and attention to detail in the work was unparalleled. It was not the least expensive estimate we received but, with roofing, you get what you pay for and their guarantee was the best in the business. Recently I called to request that they repair some damaged shingles and also seal some penetrations prior to selling the home. The new building for our offices needed a new roof. We knew who to contact as Green Mountain was the team we called to check on the roof before we purchased the building. Things worked out well for us after they gave us the quote and got us on the schedule.

Bought a one hundred year old house a few months back. The roof was in desperate need of update and repair. Green Mountain was able to really help with that at a rate I could afford. There is a lot of things that I'll be calling Green Mountain to help out with for a while. I'm so glad they are available to help with the issues that come with an older home.

I truly can't say enough about them. They replaced my roof about 3 yrs ago, and I discovered a leak above a window that I'd had replaced last year by another company They were skeptical it was a roof issue, but nonetheless were here within an hour on a Monday morning in the rain to recaulk it, which of course wasn't their responsibility. In addition, they've come out each of the past two years to do a complimentary inspection. I am so pleased with their work and so glad I went with them!

There were a number of ways I could go with my roof, and Zach was very helpful in sorting out the options. I had many questions and he was very patient in answering them all! The Green Mountain crew that did the work was amazing. They worked incredibly long and hard every day, and they got the job done much quicker than I expected. They also did a great job cleaning things up at the end of each day and at the end of the job, which was no small task since they had to remove two old roofs. Almanzo oversees the jobs in progress, and he came by every day to see how things were going and to give me an update. Zach and his crew were professional, friendly and respectful in their approach to the installation process for our new roof. They gave assurance and remained connected with us throughout the process. They also cleaned after each visit. For example, the pressure washing process left dirt deposits on our windows. They cleaned the windows before they left for the day. Local company that's not going anywhere. Hired them to remove old tar and gravel roof and replace with TPO. The installation was not done very professionally at first but they agreed to keep sending the crew back out until it was right. Since then there have been a couple of minor warranty issues and they always respond immediately and take care of it cheerfully. I hear horror stories about roofing companies that don't back their work but these guys are dependable. Would recommend.

Jolene is absolutely amazing, she worked directly with my insurance (which took a huge headache away from me) and she got everything ready to go on the paperwork side! Superior service! On time, very pleasant, super quick and extremely tidy! I especially appreciated their professionalism - when my A/C stopped working when they were installing my roof, instead of being dismissive, they took my concern seriously and brought in their electrician to check it out. Even though it was unrelated to the roof installation he had it fixed the same day and I was only charged for his time. Outstanding customer service. They have my highest recommendation!

They replaced two roofs on two properties for me. I was very impressed with them. They were prompt and professional. I highly recommend this company.

I am totally impressed with this company. From the roof estimate done by Zachary and the relationship with the Project Manager Almanzo and the work guided by Javier, the foreman on the project, it was well organized. Constant communication let me know when they were coming and they were on time which is always a big plus. They found the electrician that was needed because the electrical had to be to code and the swamp coolers raised up by 8 inches to raise the roof to prevent pooling of water. Everyone was very professional. I was even more impressed when at the end of each work day, tired as they may have been from working in the hot sun, they picked up any trash or material remnants and then blew the whole yard out, front and back. That was really going the extra mile. If I sent an email, I got an immediate response from Almanzo relative to my question. And when I asked to have pictures of my roof taken since I don't go up on the roof, he did that and sent them to me. I have no reservations about recommending this company. They did a complete and thorough job and I was completely satisfied with every aspect and every person I encountered. Great Company--I couldn't be happier!

I interviewed several roofing contractors and was impressed with the owner of Green Mountain Contractors who personally showed up on time and went over the various options for dealing with my flat roof house. Our house, even though it is only 11 years old had a substandard modified bitumen roof. Based on the different scenarios for fixing it, I went with the silicone roofing system offered by GMC. The work was performed by a very dedicated and knowledgeable crew, at the agreed upon price, and has an excellent warranty. The crew arrived on time each day ready for work and at the end of each day left the site clean.

My experience with Green Mountain Contractors was fantastic start to finish. I was purchasing a home with a 23 year old tar and gravel flat roof in the North Valley with signs of leaks in multiple areas.

I worked with 6 different roofers that all had excellent reviews to get multiple opinions and bids. Green Mountain was able to come out the fastest, got me a bid within 24 hours, and Zach patiently walked me through different options (TPO, Silicone, and repairs to the tar + gravel). We talked through the pros/cons of each material and the cost differences.

From a cost perspective, Green Mountain came in down the middle of the bunch. From a thoughtfulness, responsiveness, timeliness, friendliness, and professionalism perspective, Green Mountain was at the very top.

Green Mountain was extremely communicative throughout the job. He checked in afterwards. His team showed up when they said they would and left the property as clean as they found it.

Because this was for a home I was purchasing, Green Mountain had to run around and coordinate with the seller, the seller's insurance agent, myself, and the seller's agent. He also had to schedule the job with only a couple of days notice, and complete it within 3 days so we could make our closing date.

Green Mountain was able to get it all done without making compromises on quality.

Once I got into the home and inspected the roof, I found some extremely minor areas of concern. Green Mountain came back out promptly to address them.

They did a great job on my roof, it's gorgeous. I had them paint the trim and it matches beautifully.

The non-emergency installation came the same week I ordered it. The TPO layer has only been in place a couple of weeks, but we have had some rain and there were no leaks. It's early days, but I'm very happy.
