The contractors from Green Mountain were efficient and pleasant to collaborate with. The procedure of obtaining an estimate was uncomplicated and quick. The work on my roof began promptly and on the agreed upon date, and it continued uninterrupted until it was completed.

Jolene is a fantastic communicator. She ironed out everything with our insurance company and was consistently there to answer our calls. Actually I can broaden that compliment to include the communication level of the entire staff here.

I had Green Mountain install seamless gutters along the rear of my property when the roof was completed. The gutters are beautiful and functional. Almanzo did an excellent job as a project manager, and I even referred him to my neighbors, who are now working with this company to replace their roof.

So originally there were some communication difficulties but the owner actually called me and cleared it all up. He even came to my house investigated my problems and then sent one of his guy out to my house and they fixed my roof issues. Thank you, appreciate it.

Green Mountain is an extremely professional contracting company. My roof was needing replacement and the ceiling in my master bedroom had some water damage. They were in constant communication as to the progress. The secretary was extremely helpful as to help with insurance. I believed with confidence and trust that the work was done on time and well done. I highly recommend this company for your roofing needs. And I am. not a paid advertiser. Green Mountain replaced my old flat roof with a TPO roof. The job had horrible access issues and one other company refused to even bid on it due to access issues but Green Mountain didn't have a problem. They were great to deal with, their bid was one of the best values. They completed the job very quickly and pointed out an improvement that they could do that would give me much better drainage. I had them do that also. When they started the job they found that the roof had an extra hidden older tar and gravel roof under the visible roof. This did not change their bid and they removed textra layer also. They did a great job on clean up and were great to deal with. I highly recommend them.

Replace hail damaged roof with silicone roof. Worked with Almonzo to find good break in the rainy weather. Job was well done.

We are very happy with the job done by Green Mountain Contractors.
We and the Green Mountain crew encountered four major problems in replacing our roof. First, we had been told by a previous contractor that there was a previous roof under the one being replaced. When the Green Mountain crew went up to start the project they discovered that there were four roofs; no one had ever replaced a previous roof since the original roof was erected in the late 1940s! This caused a delay and re-planning. Secondly, the weather: we had rain, snow, and high winds during the project, delaying it further, but we all wanted the crew to work in safe conditions and they returned to work the moment it was safe for them to go back on the roof.. Thirdly, the holidays. Although nearly all of the roof replacement had already been completed, there was still one problem which needed resolution. Because of the delays cited above, the final phase of the project, cited below, continued into the Christmas and New Year period - no problem.
Finally: the replacement of a small window at the back of the house. It had to be replaced because the house's heating stove is in the attic area. Daniel, the carpenter, created a window-vent which fits perfectly into the old space.
Zach and Jolene worked very hard to get the insurance money for the whole project and they were successful! They responded to all of our suggestions and wishes on the job. The crew were friendly, helpful, and very professional. The roof, blue asphalt tile, is beautiful and we are extremely happy with Green Mountain's work.

Awesome!! Point of contact was Jolene and she was amazing at explaining everything . She did everything!!. Other then filing my initial claim, and pick the shingles, Jolene did everything! My roof is gorgeous. Jorge did a wonderful job. He didn't wait until the end to clean , he cleaned up every day! I highly recommend Green Mountain!

Zachary Romero of Green Mountain Contractors provided me with more than just excellent service on replacing my tar and ravel roof - he also offered honest and valuable advice on what I should purchase.

For instance, I initially wanted to buy a steel roof, and first talked to a competitor about this. The competitor quoted a fairly high price for a 28 gauge thickness steel roof. Zack, however, recommended a thickness of 18 gauge in a high wind area. To clarify this, 18 gauge steel is approximately three times THICKER than 28 gauge steel. Zack also told me that in high wind areas, a thin gauge roof vibrates in high wind conditions and loosens the fastening screws.

In April of 2018, just before my roof was to be renovated, we experienced some very high winds in Santa Fe, New Mexico (60 plus mph peak gusts). My home insurance agent said that there was an instance during this time of a metal roof being peeled back from the roof structure.

Zack also recommended I go with 30 year rated shingles instead of metal at a higher price. This boosted my level of trust in his honesty and integrity. A less scrupulous person might have tried to maximize the cost and profit margin without regard for my needs.

I also checked with Zack concerning the wind speed rating for my choice of shingles. He told me that the shingles were rated up to 75 mph. I’ve never seen winds that high after having lived in Santa Fe for 28 years, so this seemed safe.

The total amount of time to complete the removal of the old tar and stone roof and install the shingles was a little over two days. I personally inspected the job during and after completion, and was very satisfied with the quality of the work. George (the roofing foreman) took a lot of pride in his work, and exhibited a highly professional level of competence.

In conclusion, I would highly recommend Green Mountain Contractors. I truly feel that I received excellent value for a fair price.

Green Mountain Contractors were a pleasure to due business with Zachary Romero all up front no hidden coast Jorge his foreman was very knowledgeable in his trade. His crew kept the work site cleaned up never heard a complaint from anyone all had positive attitude. They came and did my roof last September, best thing I ever did. They are great guys to work with I called them set up a time and day for them to come, they showed up on time and gave me a quote which was reasonable to other roofers. We set up a day and time for them to start and they arrived promptly. I dealt mostly with the owner or partner, communication was excellent. They kept in contact with me and explained every step. They also sent me before and after pictures. I highly recommended this company.
