I have loved my Ram 1500 since I bought it. What also came with that has been the Goldy Auto Service Department. Any time I have needed service performed on my truck they’ve not disappointed. However, this time it’s absolutely 5/5 google review worthy. I was having an issue with a service shifter error and 4 wheel drive issue. It was taken care of, but after picking it up the issue persisted. I dropped it back off and Phil and the mechanics went over my truck and found the issue. Just a loose connection. Instead of charging me the mechanic time and any other charges, Phil decided it was something he wanted to make right and show me as customer, why to keep choosing Ram, and why to also keep choosing Goldy Auto!

Worst service department ever. They do not answer the phone, you have to show up before they will talk to you. They try to scare you out of bringing in anything under warranty by claiming you have to pay for a diagnostic even if it is under warranty. Things under warranty they try to claim isn't warranty. They never have the parts either. Do yourself a favor, go to a different dealership that actually will work on vehicles and treat customers correctly.

I made an appointment for a possible wheel bearing issue and explained that to the service manager. I arrived and was told this was a diagnostic procedure only and i would have to come back next week. I made another appointment where i would wait to have the work done and they just called me to cancel it. I called the general manager last Friday Avril 25th and no word from him and then they canceled my appointment. Yep service is not a priority.

Terrible experience in the service department. My Dodge truck was having an issue while i was 200 miles from home. I brought them the truck on Friday and was told they would get to it either that day or Monday. I let them know my circumstances and that i was paying for a hotel until they got the work done (2 hour job). I called monday and tuesday and they wouldn’t answer the phone in the service department. I called again wednesday morning and they didn’t answer again. I went there and was told it would be 2-3 weeks until they would get to it. I explained my circumstances again and was told, yeah buddy we all have problems. Their complete lack of integrity was appalling and cost me over $600 in hotel charges while i waited for them to complete a service they didn’t even attempt to perform. Terrible customer service.

Just a heads up to anyone they talk into buying the extended warranty. Your electronics in your vehicle, cameras, ect. Will not be covered. When I bought my vehicle I made sure to ask if the electronics were covered, she told me they were and now my cars in the shop, she no longer works there, and apparently they can just lie to get you to buy it and then say we'll she doesn't work here anymore. It will cover engine issues but we all know the first thing to mess up is going to be the electronics.

My battery went bad and since it was still under warranty, I brought it to Goldy’s. Every person I spoke to was rude and dismissive. They let me drop my car off a day early and thats about my only positive thing to say about them. The text message updates were pushy and rude, no one answered my calls. They finally texted me that they’d replaced the battery but that it wasn’t ready to be picked up yet, then ignored four more phone calls before I finally just drove back to the office and even that employee was rude. Then my battery was replaced but they didn’t wash the car, or even the windshield, didn’t even go get the car and bring it forward for me, just gave me the keys and told me to go find it. (I had to enable the panic button to find it in the huge parking lot). I bought my car out of state and have just moved to this area, but I will never go back to Goldy’s. They were unprofessional, non-communicative, and outright rude.

The absolute WORST!!! If you have a Jeep, avoid this place if you want to keep your vehicle running. This is a long post but to explain just how incompetent they are you need to read it. I dropped my Jeep off because it was overheating. They had it ALMOST TWO WEEKS. When I finally got it back they said it was fixed yet it still didn’t sound right. It sounded like a jet taking off under the hood. But they swore everything was perfect. Skip ahead a month. Driving down the interstate and my dash lights up because the temperature is so high. Back to the shop. They say the Jeep is in perfect condition. We keep telling them that something is wrong and they told us there are no codes. And it didn’t overheat. We take the Jeep home and drive it on a roadtrip to the beach. As soon as we pull in the Jeep overheats. Take it to a Jeep dealership there and there is code for the cooling fan. And because it wasn’t fixed sooner the electrical system needs repaired.
That being said….all of this could have been avoided. They are incompetent. They are rude. They are right down stupid. I beg you not to go near them with your Jeep. You will be so sorry if you do.

Would give 0 as a star but can't, had my spare tire on because I had a flat and needed all of my tires replaced, had taken it there for service, now that I need my spare because I have a flat tire, spare is not in my vehicle, called about it, gave them several days to "look" for it, just to be told that they can't find it and it's been too long since I had service, sorry I didn't have a flat sooner so I would have to check your work, ridiculous, won't replace it, double check their work because they have horrible customer service

3rd Edit, Tuesday May 7th. Still no contact with Goldy after the owner told us to just trade up. They are taking absolutely no responsibility for the damage done to our wheels. We had no other choice than to ask around where to take it to get it checked as it felt unsafe to drive. Found a place and had them check Goldys work. They confirmed the damage we showed them was new damage to the wheels, not old. And all 4 tires had to be rebalanced as none of them were balanced correctly. Now to remind you, our original purchase was new tires and you have to balance those correctly. Their mechanic wasn't even competent enough to do the bare minimum. Just more proof as we fight to get our money back and take this complaint as high as we can since we didn't get the services we paid for and they left us with a safety hazard to drive.

2nd edit, Thursday May 2nd, 2 days after notifying business and no contact. I went on to the Goldy website and filled out a contact me form. The owner called almost immediately after and was very nonchalant about what had occurred in his Service Department . He is claiming the damage wasn't new even though you can tell due to the color of the exposed aluminum is fresh white. He also didn't seem to care that we were sent out with a car that was unsafe to drive as the tires were over inflated and the lugnuts were loose. He was only upset when I had a few choice words for his lack of care and concern. The solution offered? To come trade the car in. Wow, just wow. My car was fine before it got in their hands. That makes me wonder if they mess people's cars up intentionally to get people to buy something newer. It's all about the dollar with this place, its not making their dangerous mistakes right or offering solutions or refunds. No accountability or integrity. Never go to any Dodge Dealership in WV. You'll be in a battle as we are to make things right.

Edit: It's been 24 hours. Tried to call 3 times today. No response back. Will continue to hold them accountable. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT. We feel at this time, it's a safety hazard to drive our car as it has new vibrations when moving like the tires weren't balanced correctly.

Would love to give a better rating as my previous visit was great but this time not so much. First off, Joni, is wonderful. She gave us an accurate quote for 4 new tires, an alignment, and we also got an inspection done. My complaint is with the technician/service department. When we got the car back I first noticed that each new tire was aired to a different pressure. The lowest was 27 and the highest was 42. The specs for air in my 2013 Dodge Charger is 35. Then upon letting the air out to get the tires to the right pressure, we noticed all 4 rims had new multiple scuffs, gouges, and damage. Weve never hit curbs with this car and you can tell its fresh damage, as well as my husband cleans the rims weekly. It's going cost around $3500 (give or take) to replace all the rims. Not to mentiom the lugnuts were loose and werent torqued correctly, as my husband used a lug bar and they werent as tight as they needed to be. Now he has to do that himself. Thats a safety hazard since we had to drive all the way back to Charleston. They also didn't check the rotors as we requested, they said all 4 were fine and upon eye inspection, the rears look like the need to be replaced. The also didnt check why we have a vibration when we asked. We've emailed Joni and the GM and hope we get a quick response back with a way to make this all right as we have always kept the car in great shape and this was damage and lack of care cause by their technician. Very angry and disappointed that we spent $800 here only to have our vehicle damaged and a job not done correctly. There is obviously a lack of integrity and honesty.

Took my Jeep Renegade Trailhawk in because it was having a glitch with the computer. Brandon from sales showed me some of their Wranglers while I was waiting. He was super professional and knowledgeable about their inventory and even let me test drive one and showed me my options. Service department analyzed my Jeep and made sure everything was okay before sending me on my way. Very professional and friendly! Highly recommend!

Wow! Great service and awesome people. We were driving through to a trip to Snowshoe to ski when we got a check engine light right near the dealership. They got us diagnosed with the camper still attached but it would need some work so we dropped it back off later that day and they worked on it while we took our send vehicle to our trip. They got it done and fixed, warranty work. Even got an oil change at a very fair price. They kept us on our schedule and we’re so nice and helpful. Even sent texts to update me about the repairs. Excellent service center!

Just went for parts..... Called to make sure they had them and the clerk on phone wouldn't make sure. Said the computer said they had one... Rook the chance and drove 30 minutes (one way) to pick it up ..... Waited......waited..... And about 20 minutes later got it.... Next time we will go somewhere else.....even if we have to drive further

We have been buying and servicing vehicles here for almost 10 years. Best sales team. Blake is knowledgeable and a great salesman to work with. Matt is always wonderful to talk to and gets things done. Kayla in finance is amazing and always finds us the best rates. Jeff in service is awesome. Any time we've had an issue he's been able to work with Chrysler and get it taken care of. The service department always gets us in and out quick for our routine maintenance at both the Jeep garage and Mitsubishi one.

used to be a employee here dont come here!!! when you bring your car in they charge you a $20 shop fee to pay for coolant and windshield washer fluid if needed aka top off service. they only use water whenever i asked for coolant they would complain about cost and make us use water so i advise if u had service here get a coolant flush too much water is in your system. also service technicians are lazy if they dont want to work on your vehicle they will diag the problem if it takes too long to fix or doesnt pay out well they will refuse to work on it by making up a excuse all the while still charginf you 150 for diag.. as a emplpyee they will promise you raises after completeing classes once you complete the classes theyt refuse to honor their promise in my case they fired me. they are dishonest and dont care about thier customers this is a scam shop. i have personally seen them rip off customers daily. Also the owners wife was terminally ill in the hospital and he had his mistress come around and have us work on a car he got for her while his wife was dying in the hospital. these are the types of people your dealing with you have been warned customer beware. The service managers get a 1k bonus monthly for good reviews can we as a team make sure that never happens again. Buyer beware

They worked to get me in, found the problem, and had me on my way within a few hours. We have purchased three vehicles now from Goldy. Everyone there has been really nice. But I wanted to take time to mention Ryan. He has been extraordinarily helpful anytime we ever had an issue. He truly is what customer service is supposed to be. And it's because of him and him alone is why I will continue to go to Goldy's. I honestly can't say enough good things about him. Just had a 4 HOUR oil change at Goldy auto in Huntington.

To be fair they did an inspection sticker as well cause I just had a front window replaced. Also to be fair they said I need front brakes to pass inspection and I let them/ was extorted into that.

(Fun fact they had just put an inspection sticker on the old window a few months ago.)

Now before you pass judgment on them over one bad experience, you should know, this is THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. Yep my second 4 HOUR oil change.‍♂️

Now as a rule, and since I loved playing ball as a kid, I always use the 3 strike rule. So I guess counting the time they rebuilt half my engine, and I broke down just a few hours after picking my truck up, and had to let them fix what they had already fixed... That's strike 3. ‍♂️

If apologies where worth a nickle I would have a grand total of one shiny dime in compensation.

Been twice for RAM service. Advisors are polite and they let me sit in the lobby with my dogs while I waited one of those times. Gave me a ride home and picked me up when i had to leave my truck. I don't like their auto check-in via their website. It wants you to sign a waiver upon completion of check-in that they aren't liable for damage or losses. Sorry Goldy, ain't happening. I'll check in my vehicle when I get there.

Update 8-1-23: took my truck to them twice now for the highly common manifold failure in the RAMS. Once in spring, and just now. Tech is completely lazy and refuses to visually inspect the manifolds unless he hears the ticking noise the leak makes on cold starts. Naturally, both he and Chrysler know it wont make the noise in hot weather and once it's been driven. It has to sit a while, but i wont leave it there with their "not liable for damages policy". Even providing two videos documenting the sound is not enough and they refuse to replace the manifolds, even though the techs and parts know this problem is so widespread it should've been a recall years ago. By the time it makes the noise frequently enough for them to hear it and make the repair, my factory warranty will be gone and it will cost me out of pocket. Truck only has 8600 miles on it. This is absurd and pathetic. With as common a problem as this is, all his lazy a$$ has to do is say he heard the sound, especially with multiple videos proving its there. Instead, they waste my time and gas going back and forth doing NOTHING to help my situation or fix my vehicle.

Don't expect any technician to go above and beyond to help you in this place. They are extremely lazy and do all they can to discredit your worries or claims of problems. The service writer was nice and patient with me in all my frustration. She and the shuttle runner are the only good things about the place. I'll NEVER use this place again as long as they have technicians that refuse to listen to customer concerns, making excuses not to make repairs. Less than 1 star if I could.

My review is on the service department specifically. About a month ago I had an oil change and tire rotation done on my vehicle. This week noticed a nail in my tire. I went to put the spare on and noticed my key to my lug nut locks were not in my vehicle. I called goldy and asked if they had the key and they told me they had a few lug nut lock keys but, wasn't sure if they had mine. I've never had a reason to take my wheel off so I know the service men used it when rotating the tires. I explained to a couple people during the conversation on the phone I just needed the tire off and plugged. I explained I didn't have the funds for a new set at this time. They made it seem as if I could come down, they'd take the tire off and plug it at no charge. I felt as if this was satisfactory considering they didn't put my lug nut lock key back. Well I get to the dealership and wait for around 2 1/2 hours. They come and tell me that there were not one but, three holes in my tires. I knew this wasn't the case because the tire was holding air as I was driving it from huntington to Buffalo everyday. I'd have to put a little air in about every 2 days. The nail had been there about 5 days at this time. I also drove the vehicle to the dealership. So it just didn't make sense. They then suggested 2 new tires from them for around 300$ a piece. This was insulting considering the conversation I had with multiple people before actually going there explaining I didn't have funds for new tires at the time. I also really feel as if they didn't want to plug it. Doesn't make sense I was able to drive 60+ miles each day with 3 holes in my tire? Well I then ask that they put the spare on the vehicle as they did. I went to work and noticed they didn't put my factory rim back in my vehicle. I go and get my tire and get back home and go to put everything back where it was and they left all the jacks parts just scattered throughout my trunk. Pretty dissatisfied and this experience may impact where I decide to buy in the future.

Unfortunately, the service department has really gone downhill in the last couple years. My daughter had her Jeep there 3 times, not fixed, took it to the new place in Barboursville, fixed in 2 hours. I took my Jeep in, left it 5 days, not fixed, took it to the same place in Barboursville, got the part, fixed. It shouldn’t be like this. If Goldy can’t competently service jeeps, they shouldn’t sell jeeps. Also, they would never call me back when they said they would. When I get ready to buy a new Jeep, I’m not going back to Goldy because I can’t get decent service there.

Called to get some brakes ordered/ put on my Wrangler. Allegedly the breaks were ordered and said they would “call back.” Two weeks later no call back, and service department wouldn’t answer. Horrible experience will not be back again. Service department needs a refresh on their customer service skills & on scheduling it seems. Not a reliable business.

Have been contacted by the service dept many times when I've never had a vehicle in there for service, its a previous vehicle i owned and not sure how they got my info. Service just called me again after asking several times to be taken out of the system and whoever it was rudely hung up on me when i was trying to have him remove me from the system.... seems like someone has anger issues.... I'd advise to away from their service dept if he cant handle someone asking to not be contacted...

The truck has electrical shorts in the dash that drains the battery dead. This started a week or so after buying it, took it back to Goldy and they blamed the manufacturer for shipping the truck without loading the ECM correct.

After a few return visits for the same issue I was told they didn't want to file a claim for parts so the kept on reloading software

When I got copies of all service records on the truck they gave me the first one done at 4 miles.

They reloaded ECM at this time so they experienced the same issue that they blamed on manufacturer

But also it showed they replaced front facia, front bumper, and rear bumper due to it being in a crash. WV law requires this to be disclosed however Goldy doesn't do that. They said the truck was a custom order but buyer got tired of waiting on it and bought something else. However their records state " buyer refused to take delivery of truck due to its wrecked condition"

Skip forward a year and I take it back due to back bumper rusting. Jeff in service swore up and down they didn't do body work on it, even though it was his name on their work order. He blamed it on a local body shop so I took the truck to the body shop, they ran the vin# and found they never had the truck. Was told Goldy called and told him I was coming over that the truck had been wrecked and they had bumpers laying around so they just changed them

According to Goldy they put the wrong rear bumper on it and painted it with a can of spray paint. On a brand new truck!!!!

Road service came out several times to jump start it and towing it back to Goldy Auto I've also jump started it many times. But a brand new, wrecked truck that you couldn't trust to drive it out of town

I called Mr. Goldy's cell phone and left a voicemail about the issues, never heard back from him so I called again but he had blocked my number.

It has taken 15 months of legal action but truck is being bought back under lemon law

Just a heads up if you are thinking of doing business with this lot. You will be lied to for the sale and will not stand behind it after the sale.

I have went and bought a new 2025 Ram Bighorn from another dealer and it will never see Goldy for service, I will pay whatever to tow it to a honest shop when repairs might be needed

They have about any vehicle that you would like to have and if they don’t have it I’m sure they can get it for you

The new service "manager" is rude, has no understanding of the product, etc. I took my truck down there bc my rear window leaked in my 2020 ram 1500 which caused the RF hub to get wet and need replaced, I ordered the part with them and had them install it. "The RF Hub refers to the vehicles radio frequency module, which acts as the central point for wireless communication, allowing the truck to transmit and receive radio signals for various functions like, keyless entry, remote start, and potentially other connected services."

Called after i picked up my truck bc now the remote start wasnt working and all they need to do is hook it up to the computer and allow the feature, the "Manager" said id have to pay for a diagnostic fee and charge me to fix the one thing I took my truck in there to fix originally. The manager was rude when I tried explaining the primary function of that part and hung up on me. Ive taken my truck to goldy all 4 years ive had that truck for oil changes and any work needing done. I will now go elsewhere bc they do not stand behind there services/ repairs!
