Pocatello's Franklin Building Supply is hands down the absolute BEST shop in Idaho. The staff are so helpful, knowledgeable, patient and kind! Shannon (a 5 star employee) has been a blessing in the flooring dept and a joy to work with. Tom in the door shop (also a 5 star employee) has so much knowledge and patience, it's just amazing. Alan in windows was a rock star, Wendy and honestly every employee, I can't speak highly enough. And they have lots of materials in stock. Thanks Franklin staff. We appreciate you.

We were happy with the communication of staff, fair pricing, quality of the doors we ordered, timing, and with the delivery. Lots of options, both customized as well as more standard.

After the flooring we had installed by them years ago, we needed a repair done to a couple of stairs. Mike came and did a fantastic job of repairing them and was very friendly.

It’s tough to find a place that will take good care of you anymore. But this place has nailed it as far as I am concerned. They are the best run show in town.

Franklin's is a great company to do business with. They sell quality product, they will treat you fair, and take the time to help you with any problems. They have great people managing the store, some of the best sales team in the region. I recommend using them for all you construction needs.

They dont even sell doors or windows to anyone except one contractor in the area all weather doors and windows and he is a giant ripoff. Funny thing is when i got a quote from all weather, Dave recomended not using franklin building supply. So why would anyone use them if the only contractor they sell to doesnt even like using them? Also take down your sign that says open to the public because you aren't. You're not even open to other contractors.

I have had overall great experiences with Franklin Building Supply in Pocatello. They are very professional and quick to help with the customer's needs. During my recent visit last week, Alan Pooley helped me get what I needed. He jumped in quickly to help me and also helped me load my purchased items. I was very impressed and grateful for Alan and have been very impressed overall with Franklin Building Supply.

Alan in windows is absolutely amazing. Very helpful in making sure that the window well covers we bought were perfect for our house. I highly encourage using Alan for all of your window needs! I can't say enough nice things of how great he is to work with.

Only been here a couple of times but liking the wide collection of Makita power tools they have. Will have to stop by again to do a couple purchases

From the delivery of my patio wood, to organizing it in the garage, to installation, these guys nailed it! Definitely recommend for all projects and supplies! Will be using them again in the future. :)

Showed up with a load of lumber 35 minutes before closing, and was unload within 15 minutes. Was highly impressive.

We had some issues with a carpet installation we had done a couple years ago where the carpet was wrinkling in areas because it wasn't stretched properly. We were able to get Mike hoskins out who is one of the only certified carpet installers in our area. He did a fantastic job. Our carpet looks brand new again my expectations were exceeded by him. Super friendly, hard working, and he did an amazing job.

Where do we begin... 1st We need to make a shout out to Shannon Brown!!! She helped us decide what carpet would be best for our needs in 3 different rooms with one color that would work for all and also to mention receiving great value, ease of scheduling installation dates and great pricing! 2nd Mike Hoskins carpeted one of the rooms 8 yrs ago... when we went looking for carpet we found out that he no longer was with that company... As it happened, Mike had gone on to work for Franklin not long after he had installed the our carpet. We were delighted to find out we could get the installer we wanted and then our carpet! He is wonderful to work with, extremely knowledgeable and a master to his trade!!!!! If we had to rate Franklin Building, Shannon Brown and Mike Hoskins 1-10...10 being the highest marks... Perfect 10's! Thanks to all for your help!

We needed our carpet stretched after being installed for 2 years and they came to resolve the issue in a timely manner. They have been very willing to help resolve the issue.

A miscommunication on our order took place. When we noticed it on our bill they looked into the matter and fixed it immediately. Very impressed with their integrity!

I have been impressed with the patience and service I have received from Franklin Building Supply. Lois and Wendy spent a great deal of time helping me with the painstaking decisions I needed to make regarding new carpet and flooring for the remodel of my home. Tom helped me to make the right choice for my new front door. Mike installed my new carpet and flooring throughout my house and I am extremely pleased with his work ethic and concern that everything be done right. I hope to not have anything more done to my home in the future; however, if I find that I have such need or desire I will definitely use Franklin. In the meantime, I highly recommend this company to others who may be considering building or remodeling.

I once again went to the best Building Material business in Pocatello, Idaho, Franklin Building Supply. I had a door that I needed replaced. It was a complicated exterior door and being a professional DIY-er, I knew the concerns that Franklin Door Shop would have trying to “retro fit” my door. I explained what I needed and I was willing to take any responsibility and liability for the work that they would do, knowing that the warranty would be in question once they were done. Franklin Door Shop was hesitant to do what I asked, but I needed it and there was no other way my project could be completed without them going out on a limb. They did it and my door came out perfect. I recognize that I asked the impossible and the probable failure and cost would have been on my shoulders, still knowing this I’m so grateful that they took the chance and I am incredibly happy with the result. Thank you Franklin Building Supply Door Shop. You are the best.
