Franklin Building Supply - Twin Falls, ID

We used Franklin for most of the building supplies in our new home. Framing package, flooring, cabinets, doors & knobs. Brenton was great to work with. Flooring was quoted better than anyone else in town and the install was perfect. Loved the choices. Doors- Alex is awesome!! easy to work with- great follow through. There were some issues with the cabinets but I honestly believe that is all resolved, I would continue to use Franklin for any future builds because the customer service was above and beyond to make things right. My understanding is there is a new design center for one stop shopping.

The customer service was awful. They never answer the phone, they kept me on the hook for weeks on products that I needed ordered in, and then finally told me the product had just been there sitting for awhile, everything is marked up compared to everywhere else in terms of tools and supplies (Amazon and home depot were way cheaper), and they totally lied about being able to price match. I asked them to price match some thinset mortar and they refused because I found it at a store in Pocatello for way cheaper. Not wanting to drive out there and seeing that they openly advertise that they price matched I asked them to price match and they said that they wouldn't because the price was too far from their own price. Doesn't that totally defeat the purpose of price matching? Don't lie to people about price matching. I ended up going to Pocatello and ordering other things from Amazon. Just do that, these people can't pick up the phone.

Franklin building in twinfalls idaho is ripping people off on the boxes of brad nails marked nail pro i bought a half box of nails for full price the box was 3.250by4inby2.750in it had 1.250in of cardboard spacers in it. When we looked at the other boxes they were the same and the manager said so what. Didn't even acknowledge the scam.

Franklin is awesome! Great people to work with. Building our house we purchased lots of stuff through them. Great service!

These folk were very helpful and knowledgeable. Working with them on each aspect of building our new home has been extremely helpful!

Customer service is exceptional! I’m a DIY person and recently completed a large backyard deck with multiple levels, stairs, rails, etc. Needless to say the folks at Franklin were fantastic and helped me every step along the way. They were accommodating during my many trips to the store even during the COVID-19 shutdown. Can’t say enough good about the selection of deck materials, knowledge and friendliness of staff (shout out to Scott), and my overall positive experience. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Unbelievably poor customer service - the only decent part was the actual service guys that did the work. In late September I called Lonnie to get an estimate on attic insulation. 1 week and 2 more calls later he called me back (apparently he's rarely at the store so he prefers calls) and we set up a time for measurements for an estimate. 5 days later we got an estimate. We were on travel (as I told Lonnie we would be), so I couldn't respond for a week. On our way back to town, I emailed Lonnie asking to get on his schedule. No response. I texted 4 days later (after a weekend). No response. I called 2 days later and left a message. No response. I called 2 days later and left a message. No response. My wife ran into Lonnie at Franklin last week and he told her we were on the schedule for today at 0900. (still never contacted me directly). Today I left work to be home at 0830 in case they got there early. No show. I called and left a message, and then went to Franklin at 0930. When I got to the store, I had a message from "Lee" saying the crew would be at my house this afternoon. I walked in to talk to Lonnie anyways. Lonnie said he didnt make the schedule - that was Lee's job. So I confirm with Lonnie that I need to call Lee. I call Lee and he says he will have a crew at my house around 1400 today. I finally got a call from Lee at 1424 that the crew would be at my house in an hour. So I again leave work to make sure I'm home when the crew gets here. NO SHOW. I call Lee at 1600 and he said he doesnt know where his guys are, but he'll call me as soon as he knows. It's now 1710, I have taken nearly 3 hours off of work and I haven't heard a thing. I have all the proof to document this rant. The way I see it, Franklin Building Supply owes me 3 hours of lost wages I'll sort out if they show up.
Update: the crew arrived at 1830 and finished at 1930. We'll see how billing goes.

Went in for flooring and the inside person was okay. But the install never happen. We were treated like we were a inconvenience. Never asked about a timetable and wasn't told that everyone was on vacation for a month so we went to rocky flooring and are very satisfied with them.
