Fowlers just finished our new metal roof, and we couldn’t be happier. They were professional and personable. They also came in lower than their lower quoted price. We highly recommend them.

They were scheduled to be at my house on 9/16 between 7:00 am and 7:30 am, at 8:00 am I called the office and was informed that they were probably picking up tools but would be there soon.
At 8:30 am I called again and was informed that they had to meet with another customer but would be there soon.
At 9:00 am I called again and said I wanted a definite ETA as I had taken the day off work and I needed to know what was happening.
Fowlers called me back 20 minutes later and said that their crew had been at my house for the last 2 hours, no, come to find out this person was talking about another account.
To cut a very long story short, she told me that their van had broken down but would definitely be there the next day.
Anyway, the crew that arrived did a great job, had everything stripped and replaced within 10 hours, including pick up.
I would strongly suggest that you have better communication with your customers, at no point did your office reach out to me to let me know what was going on, plus I missed two days of work.

Extremely satisfied with our garage and our experience with Fowler Roofing & Construction. We reached out randomly for a quote and we quickly received a reply from Mr. Christopher Tupper. The quote was better than others we had received and provided everything we wanted. From then on, Chris was a pleasure to deal with, keeping us informed along the way, providing updates and seeking input as needed. Everything went as planned and they were even able to accommodate a slight change in scheduling when we had an unexpected emergency. Highly recommend!

Women at the office anwered my call to request a quote, because I was 2 hours from them she told me the overall price would be double than if I could get someone closer! Double the normal rate! REALY Doesn't sound like a business I'd want to do business with.

We had a total roof job including all new plywood boards and shingles in May 2024. We weren't expecting to replace all the boards but the originals were not standard and not installed properly for shingles to be nailed into.
Not what we wanted to hear, as you might imagine, but Fowler's did a great job of explaining why and what they were doing. The job took about a day and a half. The shingles laid down very nicely and it was obvious that the crew knew what they were doing. Very professional.
And, the entire work area was thoroughly cleaned up, old roofing nails picked up.
We are very happy with the results!

They helped me with my ridge cap from the crazy Dec 18th, 2023 storm. They were so patient with my painful adjuster with my insurance and with me! Very thankful they rescued me. One of the worst experiences we've ever had with a roofer/construction company. We had a leak in our roof and called them to repair it they gave us a quote and the roof still leaked the next rainstorm we had. Now we have a bathroom with a pipes freeze every cold stretch we get and we had to have another company come in and fix what they screwed up. Find somebody else to help you. These guys will just make it worse!

Excellent roofing company. We had these guys replace our aging asphalt shingles with a standing seam metal roof and we are very impressed with the results. We got estimates from ten roofing companies; Fowler’s pricing was ranked fifth highest price out of those ten. They are definitely competitively priced. The quality of the metal roof is top notch. Very durable roof. I am very happy that I no longer need to climb up there to shovel snow. Their crew not only finished the job in the timeframe they promised (two days), they also were very thorough in the way they cleaned up all the old debris from the old shingles. I appreciate the fact this is no small project by any means and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Work on our roof was completed and looks good. The Fowler team was very helpful in assessing our job and providing an estimate. There was some miscommunication around what work was to be completed but Fowler was quick to accept responsibility and make the necessary corrections. Overall a very professional experience and I would work with them again.

Great customer service!! We had shingles flying everywhere from the big wind and rain storm in December. I honestly had no idea how much damage there was....the guys came out the next day, assessed what would need to be done, and BAM, next day, roof repaired!! They also put a metal roof on our shed a while back. This is why we called them for the house! Thank you, and the crew for jobs, well done!

We had our shingles replaced and work done on our chimneys on November 29 2023. They did an excellent job. We are very satisfied with their work. I will recommend them to anyone that needs roofing or any other services they do.

Fowler’s does NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTIES! Work is shoddy long term - I have had 5 different jobs done by them over the last 3 years, two roofing and 3 general construction. There is not one that hasn’t developed issues! One was a roof leak that was completely their fault - the crew had cut a boot seal wrong and just tried to fill a gap with silicon. The job was less than 2 years old and they wanted $650.00 to fix their created problems. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!

Had 12 windows, 2 doors, facia replaced, wrapped in metal, and new soffit installed. We couldn’t be happier with how well it came out. The crew that installed did an awesome job, they were on time, very personable, and respectful of our home. The whole process from the estimate visit to scheduling and communication was handled by office very well. Thanks Clyde, Bonnie, and crew for a job well done!!

This whole job could not have gone better....painless process, beautiful results, no leftover mess.
I was originally only doing half the house (garage roof didn't leak, after all), but the job went so well and so fast I opted to get a fancy garage roof, too. All set now for at least fifty years.

Had them shovel almost 2 feet of water saturated snow from my roof.they were in less then an hour and had it done in an hour if that.. Very professional and curtious crew..great job guys

I can't speak to their job quality, professionalism, prices, or experience. But two of their employees went out of their way this morning to return my mother's lost dog. She is a much loved elderly dog with serious medical concerns and had been missing for 4 hours in the dark. We were scared for the worst and they went out of their way to be kind and compassionate neighbors. Highly recommended.

We have an island on Moosehead Lake and were in need of a metal roof. There are many extra steps in having work done on an island, but the Fowler's team was ready! I cannot state highly enough that the installation team, led by James, was single-handedly the best ever! They were on time, professional, worked exceptionally well together, kept us informed through the entire process, and left the island in perfect condition after picking up all of the debris. And the finished product was beyond our expectations. The price was reasonable and fair...something that is difficult to find these days! If you or someone you know are in need of their services, we recommend them with the highest praise!

This is an update: I hired them to do an apartment building roof a few years ago. They'd come highly recommended so we were surprised with the mess they left behind, as well as only completing 60% or so of the work they agreed on. There was shingle package paper hanging from a tree that we weren't able to retrieve, which hung there for a year. My request was simple: Please give me an estimate for everything that needs to be done NOW and that will need to be done within the next 3-4 years. They gave me a price which I agreed on. Unfortunately, after getting a view of the roof from another contractor that had to do some work up there it was revealed that they left quite a bit of roof. (30% or more). I assume they ran out of time or ran over budget and decided that because it was three stories and I would never have an opportunity to see the work, they could get away with leaving a lot of the work undone. Furthermore, it's taken me nearly two years to get a meaningful response out of them. The owner or manager simply gave me an estimate to finish. No apologies, no explanation for why they promised one thing and delivered about half of it. They are quite obviously not an ethical organization. I've been in the real estate business for nearly two decades, having dealt with forty or more contractors and this ranks as the most dissatisfactory consumer experiences I've had to date.

Follow-up: June 2023. We are about to sell the building and the inspector sent a drone up to look at the roof and sure enough about a third of the roof needs to be completely replaced. Fowler's Roofing is now an official "persona non grata" of Southern Angel Properties and the LaVoie family.

We'll be looking for estimates to complete this work. It will be interesting to see if Fowler's does the honorable thing, and comes forward with hat in hand and finishes the job we paid for.

I come from a roofing family in another State, so I should have known better, they subbed my job out and the guy working on my roof said I didn't need a ridge vent because I had gable vents and soffit, I'm so angry at myself and Fowler's roofing Co and they never came out to inspect the job. Very unprofessional, and their estimate is not what they charge you, I would not recommend this company to do anything on your home. Update, the side of the house the shingles are over hanging by a good inch, and I had two skylights removed and now I have a dip where the skylights were apparently they didn't use the same plywood thickness, they used 4 ft of ice shield well I have a 2 ft overhang, so literally I have 2ft of ice shield over the house, nothing like cutting corners. And with all the bad reviews I've left, no one from that company has reached out to me. Stay away from Fowler's Roofing their crooks. Update, Maine Roofing and Siding came out and put a roof vent in, and the job came out great, and told me that the dip where they removed the skylights was because they didn't put a support brace in so the plywood wouldn't sag. This was a rip job, so there is no excuse for the shoddy work. This company should be out of business, and never have I received a call from them to try to make it right. Please do yourself a big $$$$$ favor and avoid this company.

We had fowlers Roofing install a new garage om my existing slab .excellent job. Very strong building. Straight and square building. I would and have recommended fowlers roofing.
5 guys about 20 hours. They are professionals.

We had the flashing around our chimney replaced because it was leaking. Fowler's garuntees their flashing for 10 years and that winter it started leaking again. They tried caulking it but after a few tries they fully replaced the flashing at 0 cost to us and they were very speedy. You can't find a company this quick to respond and who stands by their work like this anymore. We are very happy with the service and price we paid.

They did a metal roofing repair estimate two years ago, November 2020. They said they could do the work in 3 months. 3 months came and went without a call from them. My wife and I got the run around when we called to find out when they were going to do the work and never got an answer. A couple of weeks ago someone left a voicemail wanting to know if we still wanted the work done. I did not call them back and thought forget them. While I was out of town this week one of their crews dropped off material on my property. My wife asked if I told them to go the work and I said NO! I called and emailed them letting them know I wanted the material picked up before the snow storm and they did. Their customer service sucked. I will never use or recommend them to anyone.

I was a challenging job, but the roofing team was meticulous in making sure the roof was perfect. Very efficient and great crew!

Crew was efficient and got our roof done within the day. They stripped, placed underlayment and reshingled the whole home within 15 hours. They cleaned up everything and even had someone come
back to double check for clean up. We are happy with the work provided and our roof looks great!

We had a 30’ x 40’ garage built in August 2020. We started the process in late April. Chris Tupper was awesome to work with. From start to finish he walked us through everything. He even met my wife’s demands on colors. The crew they use to put it up in 3 days were awesome. I would use and recommend Fowler’s in a heartbeat. Thanks again we love it!

Fowlers has recently completed a large roofing job for me and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. from the timely call back to set up the estimate to the estimate being completed and being returned to me within said time. the Estimator Ryan was fantastic and answered all questions with confidence and was very knowledgeable. Katrina and Jennifer were fantastic as well updating me with start and completion of the job. While on site the Forman John was also great keeping me informed of the progress each day. Again this was a large job and was still completed quickly. I will also say that they crew kept debris and mess like it had never happened not at the end of the job but every night when they where finished. I would recommend them to any one looking for a contractor that keeps their word completes the job in the expected time and made you feel like you had the best service and experience and price. Again I would like to say thank you to the Team over at Fowlers Roofing again for a great experience. Keep up the great work it doesn't go unnoticed. I would recommend them 100 times over to anyone looking for the best price, service, and over all experience.

We had the most discouraging, unprofessional, experience with Fowlers Roofing. We hired them to paint our older standing seam metal roof. Their estimate outlined the scope of work to be done-“Alumacoat roof, scrape rust and apply two coats”. When the workers came over my husband had given me several questions to ask them. One question my husband asked, “How many coats of paint are you applying?” to which they answered “one”. When I asked them about the “two coats” quoted from the estimate, the workers informed me that Alumacoat only requires one coat, two coats would cause “leafing”, which is a separation between coats.

The next day I called Fowlers and asked to speak with the estimator. Our thinking was that one coat would not require as much labor or product, so the estimate price could be adjusted. Instead the office girl I left the msg. with called the workers instead!? Consequently they got very defensive with me about the one coat. I explained we were not disputing the one coat, we were disputing the price of the estimate! Wow, I can’t believe the office girl got the workers involved!

Well we drove to their office and asked to speak to the estimator but we were told by another office girl that he was never available! Wow, really? She was extremely rude.

Someone contacted my husband to inform him that the estimate price was correct and they were not going to adjust it. This, my friend, is the most unprofessional behavior I have ever experienced. We never felt so scammed.

Never hire this company unless you enjoy being treated badly and over charged!

I have read the glowing feedback, and it seems the company is doing well. So I am surprised that they are not willing to accommodate an unhappy customer. Last year I had the company take care of an old metal roof. The estimate was for a power-wash, tighten any loose screws, prime, then paint, a 2 day job. That is not what I got. I kept waiting for them to come back after spending about 5 hours washing and spraying. I kept getting bills and I did pay them. I called and complained and someone came out and said the job was finished. I brought in pictures to show there was only 1 coat and that they didn't tighten down the screws where they were popping up but there was no response. Getting no satisfaction, I at least got them to guarantee the paint for 1 year. So guess what??? It's peeling. Less than a year and I am down there again, someone was supposed to come out, but if they did I never heard back. I suppose they may be good at replacing a roof, or patching a leak, but my experience has not been good. And their customer service is not what you would expect for a successful business.

The Crew was very politer & verbally respectable, just like Grandmother would be proud of! They cleaned up the debris hauled it away as part of the job. When winter supplied us with an overwhelming amount of snow, the crew was hired back to clear it off. My aging bones are very appreciative of the skills in all work done. We're looking forward to more "To-Do's" to be taken care of this Summer.
