What a great store! The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly. They helped me pick out my new bike and helmet.

Amazing service. I needed a quick fix on a bike for a race. They managed to prioritise my bike and get it sorted out the same day. There was also an issue with my rear wheel and they were kind enough to allow me to use of one of their rear wheels for the race and return it. Would highly recommend to anyone !

The customer service in this shop is fantastic. Great selection of bikes and gear! Mark was incredibly helpful and knew his stuff! Highly recommend!

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I left my bike on a Friday afternoon to have the tire checked. It kept going flat after replacing the tube so I asked them to check the tire for a foreign object. I was told it would be done the next day(Saturday). When I hadn’t heard back by Tuesday, I called and was treated extremely rude and was told I was wrong about the details of my own repair. I was called back that afternoon and later picked up my bike that day. 2 days later, my tire was flat again so I asked a family member if he could check my tire. He immediately found a small piece of steel in the tire which tells me the tube was replaced without checking the tire like I asked.

Stopped by on Fri. talked about having 2 bikes serviced. dropped them off sat morning at 10am and picked them up at 11 30. Amazing experience. Super friendly staff. They have a new customer!

I just got in town and had to drop off my bike for a repair , Mark the bike mechanic was knowledgeable and friendly , I'll know more on Thursday when I pick up my bike and see the results .

I bought my Trek from Foothills 7 years ago. I wasn't able to ride for awhile; so my bike was like new. The staff at Foothills not only provided great customer service, and tuned up my bike, but they have been always available to answer any questions I had, and taught me little things about my bike that I didn't know. I really appreciate that.

I visited this shop a month ago for a thorough bike tune up. When I arrived, I was assisted by friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I ended up scheduling a time to return for a bike fitting. After the bike fitting, I immediately noticed that I’m more comfortable riding using the drop bars for extended periods of time. I’m also more confident with steep descents.

It was a great decision for me to choose Foothills Cycling. The staff have decades of experience and it shows through their work.

I visited this location on June 26, 2020 in regards to replacing a rear break cable on my mountain bike. I called and talked with Mike prior to taking my bike to the shop. I explained to Mike that I lived in South Carolina and would be leaving the upcoming Thursday. The cable repair would only take 15 -20 minutes. Mike told me to bring the bike into shop. I loaded my bike and arrived shortly thereafter. Upon arriving at the shop, I was greeted by a friendly man and I ask if he was Mike and he said yes. I introduced myself. At that point, my bike was moved behind the counter. Another male working at the location, whom I suspect was the owner, ask when I want to pick the bike up. I told him I would like to pick up the bike on Thursday due to the fact that I would be leaving town and would not be back in Mount Airy for 3 weeks. The next thing I knew, the man started flapping his arms and stated he had a lot of work and could not get to my bike. I told him I did not expect him to put me in front of all of the other bikes but reminded what I was told over the phone. This appeared to the get the gentleman even more excited. I also told the man the repair shouldn't take more that 15 - 20 min. I finally ask if I could buy the cable so I could do the repair myself. I was nice enough to buy the cable even after I was treated rude.

I will never visit this location again. My recommendation to this business is to honor what you tell people. Talk things out with your customers rather than get upset and start flapping your arms. Thank God and your customers for the business you do have.

I fixed the cable myself and it only took 10 minutes to repair.
