Father and Son, specifically Nick, helped us with anything he could from the hour our house fire was put out. From explaining insurance ins and outs, explaining restoration processes to keeping us updated. We are so thankful for their hospitality, availability and support they shared.

When we had a house fire, Nick from Father and Son came out that same morning and got the ball rolling. He was great and easy to work with. Great company and great people!

The crew did excellent work, did what they said they would do and were timely. I would not hesitate to call upon them for future work.

I would give them 7 stars if I could. Had busted pipe from 2nd floor-damaged main floor ceiling. The crew immediately showed, they were professional and efficient. Isolation was set quickly, moisture was dried and professionally disinfected. The finish carpentry skills made for a spectacular refresh on the second floor restroom. Pipe was replaced and isolation valves added. You won’t go wrong with these guys!

I originally reached out to them to have them clean a vintage chair that had a lot of sentimental value to me. They exceeded my expectations.STUNNING!
A few weeks later, I had them Steam clean my tile and grout in three full bathrooms. It turned out beautiful. Lastly, they cleaned an entire house of carpet, including a basement! They work hard, they are honest, they are efficient, and their prices are exceptional. We are thankful for our decision to use Father & Son for our restoration needs. They stood by our side throughout the entire process. Their professionalism is second to none. A week ago, I had a furnace condensate pump go out and leak water in my basement, particularly on brand new carpeting. It was soaking wet down to the padding. I discovered it later in the evening and there wasn't anything I could do. I am an older, single woman and was beside myself, and I knew I needed professional help. The next morning, I put a post on our local neighborhood FB page, and someone suggested Father & Son and said they were the best. I promptly contacted them and within a couple of hours Bryon was at my home inspecting the basement. He explained what needed to be done. This was on a Tuesday, and I had family coming in on Friday! That afternoon, Bryon and team were in my basement with water extraction equipment, a huge dehumidifier, and four large industrial fans. While we were getting the run around from other places, we were given the number for Father n Sons, we spoke with the owner and he came out to our home and just during a walk thru addresses and fixed a couple things for us, explained how things would/should work and offered any help even if we just had questions, we decided to go with them for asbestos abatement and other demo work. Nick came out and we discussed all the things needed to be addressed from sewer/water back up. They went above and beyond our expectations, very professional and respectful of our home, Nick kept in contact with us thru the entire process and I don’t have one complaint! The team they sent out to do the demo work, made sure our home was cared for as if they were doing the work in their own homes. From start to finish they contacted us with next steps and directions!! Would use them again anytime and would recommend them to anybody needed demo work on their home.

My refrigerator water line had a leak. It damaged my kitchen floor, basement wall panels, and basement floor. The insurance company sent a company to remove the water and dry it out. The floor had to be tested for asbestos and as a result abatement needed to take place. The insurance company would only allow the portion of the floors that had water damage go through the abatement process. Once I hired a contractor they knew immediately more needed to be done before they could do replacement. They recommended Father and Son Restoration get involved. From the moment the Bryon the owner came to make an assessment until completion the experience was outstanding. Nick was amazing. I can't thank them enough. Nick was able to convince the insurance company to do the right thing. He stayed in touch daily. The entire basement floor was approved to have the abatement. Within days of approval the appointment was set and job complete. The team(and I mean Team) arrived with 3-4 trucks and what I think was about 6-8 professionals. They all got right to work and had it done in one day. They were clean and organized. They made me and my family feel safe and had our best interest in mind the entire process. We mattered to them. Had a water leak and initially went with a water mediation company recommended by State Farm. Big mistake. (Apparently any company can make a deal with State Farm to be one of their “preferred
vendors”). They set up a few fans and dehumidifiers for a few days and then said the floors were 100% dry to industry standards left in their van, which had leaked oil all over my driveway. I purchased the same moisture tester they used in my house (a cheap $50 one made by General) and found there were still high moisture readings all over. Worried about mold and my insurance claim, and no longer trusting the “preferred vendors”, I called Father and Son after researching online and stumbled onto a gem. The owner himself came out to do an initial assessment and found high moisture levels all over as well, but he used high grade equipment to test. The next day, 4 workers showed up in 3 new (non-leaking) vans, contained the area and set up more equipment and kept me informed the entire time. Super professional and clean. I can’t say enough about this company. 10 out of 10.

My finished basement flooded after my sump pump and back-up pump failed during a very heavy rainfall. I called Father and son Restoration after reading their reviews.
Brian the owner responded quickly and explained what needed to be done to prevent mold from growing in my basement. He took many many pictures of the problem areas for myself and my insurance company.

I felt very comfortable during the whole process that they had my best interest in mind. They used the most modern equipment to view problem areas within the walls, industrial dehumidifiers and fans to dry the basement and products to neutralize bacteria that could grow mold.

Amazing service! Came to my house so quickly and went above and beyond. While searching for mold Bryon smelled gas and checked for leaks using a meter, and he found one. I then got in contact with DTE and there were 7 gas leaks in the basement. Thanks for helping keep me safe!

Father and sons is an amazing company! They cleaned/deodorized our carpet after our basement flooded. While they were cleaning, they moved our (heavy) wooden fireplace and found mold all on the backside. He texted me pictures and offered to take it up the steps and out to the curb for me! A few months later, our cat started urinating along the corners of our basement. Once we solved the problem we called the company again. They moved around their schedule to get us in before I had company over and removed all the smell. Can’t recommend enough!

Had the pleasure of having Nick come out to check the area under our front window where we had some leakage from rain. I was looking to get a floor in my upstairs house done and I was told the existing tile which was decades old possibly contained asbestos. So I called Father & Son for a quote to see how much it would cost to have it removed. Nick came out to the house and took a sample of the tile to have it tested and would later let me know the end results. I also had some mold in a part of the house that I wanted him to have a look at. He was very knowledgeable and professionally answered every and any question that I had a concern about. He called back at a later date to inform me that the test results for the tile came back negative. Father & Sons is a trustworthy business and I thank Nick for his time and honesty. I would definitely recommend them to anyone having issues with mold or in need of asbestos removal and will use their services in the future for any potentially possible related issues.

Called Father & Son after a main drain backup in basement.
Bryon showed up with his team shortly behind him. He was in contact with my insurance the same day saving me the hassle.
The whole team is very hard working going out of their way to do everything necessary to mitigate the situation.
Their equipment to monitor moister damage is state of the art.
They were right on top of what was needed to be addressed.
This was a difficult job for them with me having a lot of heavy equipment down there they had to move and clean several times.
I never heard one complaint from any of the team. They are very polite and go out of their way to service their customer.

We reached out to F&S Restoration to deal with the flooding of our basement. Literally, the day we reached out, they had someone onsite to assess the damage. That same day, we had another F&S team member onsite, installing dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers. Shortly after that, a full team showed up and within a day and a half, were completely done removing all material damaged by the water.

Father and Sons also took care of all the scheduling of the abatement company that was need to come out and remove the three layers of old tiles that had been installed throughout the years.

After the job was complete, we had multiple follow up visits to ensure the job had been done to standard. They also worked with our insurance company, every step of the way. The ENTIRE process could not have been easier, or more professional. It was an amazing experience!

Call this restoration team first, trust me you’ll be extremely happy! I had a fire on November 14, 2021, I didn’t know what restoration team to pick and clean up my house. I would 100% recommend this company. My basement flooded due to my pump malfunctioning. There was over a foot of water. Because we have first floor laundry I don't go into the basement often and don't know how long the water had been there. We lost a lot of things that can't be replaced. It was devastating and there was a lot mold. Father & Son Restoration did an amazing job. They were professional and explained everything that was done. It was a pleasure working with Bryon and his team. They made the very challenging situation of having mold issues in the basement and office, much more bearable! I highly recommend them! The team worked very hard in cleaning the areas where mold was discovered. They isolated the rooms, tore down drywall, took down doors, cleaned the exposed items, and moved them out of the basement and office. They scrubbed walls, floors and ceiling and used air scrubbers to clean the air. Very impressive operation! They also discovered the leaks that caused the mold problem. They were patient and empathetic in guiding us through the task of determining what needed to be discarded vs. what we could keep. They kept us updated on what needed to be done and when they would be doing it. We cannot thank this team enough for their expertise and kind service! They truly were a blessing!

Brian was super responsive and thorough in his inspection, following flood damage in our home. He communicated clearly, and sent everything over within 24 hours of doing the inspection (which he did on a Sunday!). This company absolutely exceeded my expectations.
After I called Bryon he was at our house within a couple hours. After he assessed our damage and we agreed to move forward; his team was at our home in 20 minutes. Due to not having power for two days, our basement flooded. I called Father & Son and was able to get a hold of someone right away. Everybody in the area was dealing with flood, so I wasn't expecting a response soon, but Bryan called me back early the next day and came to our house to assess damage. Big rains came and then big flood in my basement recently. I called Father & Son Restoration and they were swamped but were able to fit me in quickly to clean up and remove the wet carpeting from the basement. My husband and I were in dire straits when we contacted Father & Son Restoration, due to the level of extensive restoration work that we required.

We purchased an older home that had not been lived in for quite some time and required various major repairs that left our home in shambles. From dust from the plumbing being broken up in the basement and replaced all throughout our home, water damage, to the pungent smell of sewer and a host of other elements that made our home unlivable. On top of that, the attic had not been touched in eons and the insulation was so old, it looked like carpet. Imagine what was circulating throughout our home.

Our toddler spilled something on our 8x10 living room rug and nothing I did could get the weird mildew smell out. I took it here as a last resort just hoping to get the smell out. Got it back a day later with no trace of the smell and 2 years worth of toddler and dog abuse completely erased! It’s like a brand new rug! Highly recommend this place. Fast turn around time and a friendly staff!

This company is professional but more importantly, empathetic, caring and friendly. They performed work in a thoughtful and diligent manner, for example, hand cutting the drywall so it would not make my apartment more dusty. They cleaned everyday and helped put back everything back so I felt I had a home again. They were communicative about their job scope so I felt comfortable knowing what was going on at all times. Father and son did some environmental clean up and restoration work for my house. They came highly recommended from another contractor that did not do the kind of work that I was looking to have done. Bryon was super easy to work with and communicated great with me which is so important to me because I'm the type of person that needs to know when things are happening, etc. Bryon made the whole process from first contact, to quote, to the work itself easy and I really appreciate it. I worked with this company to cleanup some bacteria water that was flooded inside some of the walls and floors in my house and to the basement. They were very kind and professional from the beginning. I appreciate them being on time and getting in and out as soon as possible to make sure we were back in our home in a timely matter. I felt everything they did was of good quality and they were good about coming through my house periodically to check on the drying process. Always had operation managers come handle inspections before and after the job and we’re always available. Even helped me by referring a contractor afterwards to come help me get my house back together! Great guys!

Really great experience with Father and Son Restoration. We had a pipe burst which soaked my kitchen walls, floors, appliances for hours and down into the basement also. There was a lot of damage and it was a very stressful situation. Father and Son was recommended by a trusted friend. The owner Bryon was excellent to work with. He had amazing attention to detail and was extremely thorough. Not pushy at all about signing a contract, unlike other restoration companies that I also checked with before making a final decision.
