Shawn at Elite was awesome when he was giving me a quote for our roof. Super responsive. The recent storm caused there to be a leak in my son’s room. SCARCE RESPONSE. He sent someone over after WEEKS of me texting him daily. From there, the roofer he sent to me home took out nails that were improperly installed all behind the gutter and then sealed around the vent where it was leaking. Elite has yet to fix the gutter gap and has continued to ignore and not address this the ceiling peeling in my son’s room. The after you pay $$$$, they don’t care to make things right. I texted him the issue September 25 and I’m still texting him everyday to come fix my home. It has made me question Elite’s work as these are things that was easily preventable.

Clay was very easy to work with. Repairs were done timely and - while I'm not a roofer - appear to be of good quality.

These individuals are exceptionally patient and excel in their roofing services. Following a severe storm that hit our residence in Prospect, KY, we encountered difficulties with our insurance company, who initially agreed to cover only one out of the seven holes in our roof. However, Shawn from Elite Roofing went above and beyond to ensure that the remaining damages caused by the storm were also accounted for in our insurance claim. Although the process took seven months, Elite completed the roof replacement and gutter installation in just three days. The quality of their work was outstanding, leaving us highly satisfied and confident in recommending their services.

This experience was terrible the entire process. I started my claim in July and my work was not done until mid Oct. I was constantly having to reach out to Clay for status updates with weeks between. Finally I got my installation scheduled and the workers that came ended up tearing holes in two of my screens (which no one informed me of), left fingerprints all over my white siding, as well as scratched the garage door and surrounding trim. I will say Clay had someone come out to clean the fingerprints and did repair the screens and he is having my garage door repainted but the overall experience was terrible. There was nothing offered other than an apology and “this is not normal for us”, but still quick to ask for payment. While I cannot attest to their normal work I can say that my experience was disappointing from the start. UPDATE: Clay called asking if I would be willing to change or delete my review because he gave me some secret discounts and worked with my insurance to get a total replacement, as if it doesn’t benefit him. And since he fixed the screens quickly he thought that should count as more. However since I was not willing to change it to a 4 star or delete then he would no longer be painting my garage to fix the damage that his workers did. Clearly the company is as quality as their work. Second update: I reached out to the general manager and he was willing to listen to me and asked to see pictures. He stated Clay told him it wasn’t as bad as I was making it out to be. I sent the pictures and a few days passed with no contact. I tried messaging the GM again. Another couple days passed and then Clay reached out to my husband and let him know the garage will be scheduled for painting. The garage has since been painted. What I learned in the process is my husband had reached out to Clay the day I initially spoke to the GM and he said he would be willing schedule the painter if I was willing to write an apology email stating that I was incorrect with my initial statement and willing to delete my review. I will not be doing that and it’s disgusting that he would suggest it. Think twice before calling elite roofing and for sure avoid Clay Williams.

Clay and his team were fabulous. They got the job done well, and efficiently. He worked very well with our insurance and, most of all, he treated my elderly mother like family. I can't thank him enough for being ethical, professional and efficient, both with time and finances.

During all of the recent wind storms, I called elite roofing to help out a client of mine, who had wind damage and rain pouring through her roof. They were out there in less than a couple of hours to tarp, her roof, and protect her from any more damage, I would recommend them highly to all of my clients and friends.

I cannot say enough good things about Elite Roofing Co - ( “ elite” in the true sense of the word!)- and their wonderful representative Clay Williams, that guided us through our roof replacement, worked with our insurer, and considered our needs and circumstances.
We have little experience of roof replacement ( probably like most people ) and Clay did a perfect job of helping us every step of the way and working with our insurance company in a very professional manner keeping our interests at heart.
Utmost care was given to our yard environment to make sure hazards wont develop and we were well informed about the upcoming work schedule . It also especially struck us how important it was to Clay that his workers are treated appropriately. They were respectful at all times.
All negotiations were handled online and our only regret is that we never were able to meet Clay ( our rep ) in person !

I had 2 roofs installed thru Elite. The sales rep Clay Williams was a real pro, very personable and very knowable about the entire process. Having never had a roof replaced (let alone TWO), the planning, process and execution are sometimes confusing and a bit overwhelming! Clay explained the process and procedures needed for a successful install. The crew installed each in one day , cleaned the scene. and was quick and very careful around the yard. Bottom line: roofs look like million bucks!!! So glad to go with a company that has an honest and straight shooting rep who keeps you in the loop and makes you feel an integral part of the process. Thanks Clay for all your help in making a tough situation much easier and way more manageable. Highly recommend Elite!!!

I have nothing to say but good things about Clay and Elite Roofing. Clay was an absolute professional who was easy to work and communication with throughout the process and did a fantastic job with my insurance company to get everything taken care of. 10/10!

Had my roof and gutters replaced after a wind storm. Mike Fryrear from Elite was the only estimator out of three companies to bother to get on the roof to verify and photograph damage; everyone else wasn't interested unless damage was so obvious you could see it from the street. Mike's phot and report worked with the adjuster to get my claim secured, and Mike went the extra mile to personally clean the job site post-installs and even planted grass seed where a forklift tore a divot our of some sod in my front yard.

Work was well done, even if scheduling was a bit chaotic given the post-storm rush. My gutters and fascia board had been torn off the rafter tails by a limb impact, and they repaired that, too. Everything went as smooth as could be expected.

I don't know if Elite is always this good, but I'll be giving Mike's direct number to anyone who needs roof work. He was the difference.

It was nice to work with Clay because he did what he said he was going to do. His workers started when he said and finished when he said. It's hard to get that any more.

Clay at Elite was courteous, honest and upfront with me from the beginning to the end of our roof replacement. He was available to be contacted whenever I had questions about what was happening with our insurance claim. I always knew where we stood at each moment while we waited for our claim to get processed through our insurance company. He kept me in the loop once new information was given and had a new roof put on our house that looks great and will undoubtedly hold up for a long time. The roof looks fantastic and extra steps were taken to clean up so my kids and dog wouldn't step on any roofing nails. The installation crew was professional and friendly. They to completed our roof in a timely manner without and issues. If you need work done on your roof, repair or replacement look no further. We were referred to Mike at Elite Roofing by our insurance agent after storm hail damage. He gave us the initial inspection. We were disappointed in our insurance company because they tried as hard as they could to not cover it. Mike went to our defense and talked with them and negotiated the situation by also bringing in a third party inspector. Mike went more than a few extra miles for us on getting the claim covered 100% plus his crew was amazing workers with high quality standards. We were kept in the loop the entire time and Mike was very timely with his responses. We will definitely use Elite Roofing again and high recommend them to everyone!

Our insurance agent suggested we give Elite a call when we suspected we might have had some storm damage to our roof. Elite's representative Clay contacted us right away and came to check our roof. After checking it out, he told us to call our insurance company again to get an adjuster to come out, and that was about the toughest thing we had to do. Clay interacted with the insurance company as needed, and he was sure to explain everything to us and made sure we understood all of our options. He helped us to choose the best shingles for our house, and suggested better options for venting our attic. And while we were at it, we decided to replace our undersized gutters with new six inch gutters with leaf guards. The work was scheduled quickly, and when the work began, it was completed within two days. The work crew was on time, worked tirelessly all day for two days, and they were very neat and very polite. When the job was finished, they did a careful cleanup job, and although I checked daily for about two weeks, I never found a single nail in the driveway or on the street in front of our house. I am very pleased with their work, and feel very proud of our handsome new roof, ridge vent and gutters and downspouts. I hope I don't have to replace another roof, but if I do I will be calling on Elite to do the job for me.

Not only did they leave materials on my porch and in my gutter after the work was complete but the roof still leaks. Now we have to repair the ceiling in the garage again. They did come back to our home and said that they can't find the leak and are now telling me it must be coming in through the brick. I asked if I could see the photos of where it's coming through the brick but they said it's to small and you won't see anything.

Clay at Elite did a wonderful job from start to finish on our new roof. Elite's quote was right in the middle of the 3 quotes we received, but Clay's professionalism and attentiveness through the quoting process let us to choose Elite. We are very happy with the service and quality of the work, and anticipate using Elite for some of our other roofs!

Roof installed on time. One vent took 2 weeks to install. Still have shingles, wood, drip edge , nails, and sheeting at property. Final inspection by company representative not done. Wondering if I should be reimbursed for product not used.

Wow, I can't say enough about Elite ! From Jeremy that made my appt and answered tons of questions then, to Mike who explained every step of the process of what I had and needed they were amazing. Mike hung with me and again, tons of questions until it was done and was just wonderful. Tony who did my repairs was also fantastic. It is so refreshing to work with a company that cares about its customers and it shows. I am a life long repeat customer. You cannot go wrong with Elite, they are 10's across the board.

We bought our house in November 2019 with an Elite Roof already installed. After the most recent snow, we found a leak near one of the eaves. I reached Foster and he could not have been more helpful from start to finish. He came out, diagnosed the problem, got us on the repair schedule, and made it right. We may not have been the ones who purchased the roof, but Foster treated us like we were. Could not be more pleased with the service and responsiveness.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish! From the initial estimate to the installation of our new roof Elite was wonderful! They were extremely patient as we took our time deciding on our new roof type and color and were there within days of us making a decision to install. They left no evidence of their work other than the beautiful new roof! Highly recommend and will use them again when we replace the roof at our new house! GREAT value and very customer focused!

I have never had the experience of replacing a roof on a home. After getting quotes from several companies I chose Elite. They’re prices are fair and are a local family owned business that gave that little extra customer service a big company doesn’t have. . Mike was wonderful. He listened to my needs and didn’t try to sell me an expensive warranty I didn’t need. Mike is extremely knowledgeable. He lives in the area and understands the types of conditions the roofs here will need to withstand. When we talked about the materials used by Elite I felt confidant The roof would be sound and could withstand any type of weather issue that could arise. Once they scraped off the old roof there were many Broken and rotting boards due to inadequate venting from a previous roofer. Elite installed the proper venting so the new roof will work as it should and last for years to come. Elite was very professional they came early and finished the same day. They cleaned up after as if they had never even been there. Mike even came back the next day to make sure all the nails had been cleaned up and things were left in good order. I will recommend them to anyone in need of s new roof.

From start to finish with the sales rep to labor, Elite roofing met every need. I can’t speak highly enough about the company.

We had a porch leak on one of our buildings in our condo complex. Kevin came to give an estimate and took pictures so that we would understand what needed to be done. As soon as the weather cooperated he had his crew out and they replaced all the flat roof and necessary shingles. They did a great job. Completed the job in one day and did a great job cleaning up when finished.

I have always had Elite take care of my roofing needs on all my properties. Kevin is always honest and professional. I highly recommend them for your residential and commercial roofing needs.

I've used different roofers on past homes I've owned, but I have to say that Elite has been the most responsive & responsible company I've ever used. Thankfully, our roof hasn't too much of an issue since we bought our house 5 years ago, but we did buy a house that is more than 20 years old. Kevin came out to do an assessment to see if we had any storm damage. He was honest and said no, there wasn't any weather damage to the roof. He's also been out to see if a leak we have in our basement originated at the roof and it didn't, so we again didn't have to use Kevin. But - both times he came out free of charge and full of honesty. When we do need roof repairs in the future, he's going to be the first guy I call.

We moved into a new home and within the first 6 months out roof started to leak in several places. We have a commercial flat roof on our home so finding a residential roofing contractor who understands and can work on commercial roofs... I called Kevin Prince at Elite and he was prompt to take a look, understood what was going and quickly repaired our roof. Great to work with and a great value!

Kevin Prince did a great job in explaining the process of my new roof. He kept me posted from start to finish. He worked with my tenant to ensure smooth operation and as little interruption as possible from their daily routine. I had several companies provide estimates to replace my roof. Michael from Elite Roof was very pleasant, relaxed, never pushy and over the course of several weeks indulged all my questions in a timely, knowledgeable and respectful manner. Michael worked with me to fit my budget. Elite provided a very fair, detailed and reasonable estimate that offered quality and value. The work began very quickly upon signing the contract. I have confidence that there was no cutting corners. The crew leader came and inspected the roof and fixed a couple of items he felt could be improved upon. Upon completion, Michael returned for a quality inspection to make sure the area was clear of stray nails and to make sure work was completed as outlined. If you are in the market for a roof, give Elite a call.

I've used Elite Roofing for roof replacement on 2 different homes over the years. They are very professional, polite, and God honoring. I wouldn't use anyone else. Super nice estimator. On time and informative. Still haven't decided which direction l will take, however during the process would rate them definitely in the top two.

EDIT: It appears after an insane amount of confusion, miscommunication and poor customer service that my roof was finally fixed (or so it seems—haven't had enough rain to really know). I still would not recommend Elite.

I would not hire Elite Roofing again. Elite did my roof 2 years ago and put 50 year shingles on. Despite a few bumps in the road with our sales rep, it seemed to go mostly fine. But since then, we've had them out 3 times to assess our roof because of a recurring leak. Most recently a second leak showed up, and the first leak doubled in size just about 5 weeks after the last repair. After the first repair I was assured by the rep the serviceman had fixed the issue. A few months later, it was back, and he came out and looked at it and I sent very detailed photos of the interior and exterior noting where the leak was. They came out, and once again assured me they had fixed it. When the third leak happened, I was then informed that the serviceman wasn't even really sure what was the problem the second time, and he "fixed something he guessed was it."

Before the third fix, the GM comes out to look at the roof, and sends out a team (who showed up hours late after requesting a specific time that was convenient for them). They spend hours on our roof, and an hour after they leave and after all of these trips to work on our roof, Elite says, "This leak has nothing to do with our work and is a separate issue." This was sent via text—no apology for the wasted time, the fact months have gone by without a proper diagnosis and that I now have two levels with water damage instead of the original small leak. If it was so clear it wasn't their work, why did it take so much effort to come to that conclusion?

They may be able to do roofing just fine, and this may be a pre-existing condition (I am still skeptical as the roof never leaked in this spot for 7 years prior, and has leaked off and on since Elite changed the roof), but their customer service and communication has been unacceptable and I cannot recommend them.

From start to finish, the process was quick and easy. Kevin was very helpful with any questions and was available through the entire process. The new roof looks great and was completed a week sooner than I expected. I definitely recommend using Elite Roofing!!

Despite reading a terrible review that scared me, I gave Elite a call when a tree fell on my house. I thought the estimator that came out was wonderful. He was a very good salesman. He had me believing that Elite would make sure the insurance covered a whole new roof and re-side my entire house by the time they were done. He told me to e-mail him my insurance estimate. However, after sending it, I never received a reponse. After 2 weeks, I e-mailed again with no response. Maybe the guy was on vacation? So, I call. No answer. I leave a message stating that I've not gotten a response in a month and need to know what's going on. I ask that, even if they decided not to take the job, to call and let me know so I can find another company. No response. I apparently wasn't worth their time or the respect of a simple courtesy call or e-mail.

Elite Roofing, recommended by my insurer USAA who I trust greatly, did the roof repair of my home. 13 years after the fact, I found some leaking water on a 25 year warranty replacement. Not wanting to have their work quality questioned, they immediately came out and investigated. Come to find out, it was poor installation of a window from the builders that caused the leak. Since they had the window siding disassembled in their search to find the leak, they went ahead and corrected the issue, even though it wasn't their fault! If that's not customer service and pride in one's work, I don't know what is. Thank you Elite Roofing! You're now my go to when it comes to roofing needs!

Workers were on time and stayed on schedule. I will use them again if I ever need a new roof.

We were very pleased and satisfied with the work done by Elite Roofing. The work included removing and replacing the roofing shingles (50 plus squares) and also removing and replacing vinyl siding. The sales person and project manager, Foster Carlock, was knowledgeable, professional, very responsive and easy to work with. The followup quality control inspection by Kevin was also appreciated. Definitely recommend Elite Roofing.

I was shocked to see that there is an actual roofing company that showed up when promised. I only had a small repair, too! Kevin was very polite, and I felt 100% comfortable. I will use them again in the future.
