Dishwasher leak creating all kinds of mess and havoc :-( No worries though...Hunter and Joshua at Edmondson Restoration in Columbia, SC came in, isolated the room, demoed floor with ease, removed all debris, checked subfloor areas, and sealed room. Very very professional and very very helpful! Thank you guys! I will call upon and recommend Edmondson Restoration again!

5 stars! Edmondson Restoration came to the rescue after our washer drain line malfunctioned and flooded part of our home. They are extremely professional and did everything they could to make this an easy process for us! We appreciate them so much!

Post Hurricane Helene, we hade this company come in and gut our first floor which was extensively flooded (including about 11 other homes our community). This was not cheep, $18 a Square Foot, but I was not expecting it to be cheap because it was 2 days after the storm in a disaster zone. From start to finish, it took them less than a week, with at times, 15 people working at once tearing out the walls, floors, personal belongings and killing the black mold. That is unheard of for renovations in good times. I have had 3 other contractors come in say "this is the single best mold remediation/gutting job I've ever seen." I tested to make sure the mold was fully removed with a mold specialist, and they confirmed the job was correctly done. I cannot be more impressed by the quality of the work as the owner was in the community and at my house most days overseeing the job of the site managers.

I will say one complaint, the sales person and I got (also the majority of the community) got into it after he said the removal of our personal belongings was not included in the price of the job, even though we had extensively discussed it and with others in our community. HOWEVER, the owner confirmed he would have it removed, but was attempting to work with the County. However, after a week the County still was not able to remove everything, and the owner brought his teams out to remove the personal belongings of us and others in the community.

Overall, they acted quickly, did and outstanding job at getting our basement ready for a remodel. Most importantly, they killed the mold, which is a SUPER hard task. I never took a second estimate, but every other contractor said it was in line with what they would expect for both the quality and speed during this disaster and gave them a perfectly gutted frame to work with and build over. I would highly recommend them and they helped us out during a horrible tough spot my family was in with minimal issue/hassle.

I loved working with Kyle and his team from Edmondson Restoration for repairing water damage in my home. I found their business through a Google search, and was impressed with their reputation & I valued that they are a family oriented company! They are efficient, friendly and knowledgeable about the entire process, as well as the insurance claim process. I highly recommend giving them a call for all of your water restoration needs!

We had mold growing on our ceiling and the Edmondson Restoration team was incredible. Steve responded immediately and was at my house the next day checking out our ceilings. Can't recommend enough!

BAD EXPERIENCE!!!
For context- our house flooded due to Helene. We have a split level house and two of us were stuck living in the living room upstairs for over a month.
I don't have the time to go into depth on just how awful this experience was, so I will just list out things this company has said/done/not done instead.
-Estimated a 2 week restoration time frame and are still coming by the house 5 weeks later
-Told us 6 consecutive days in a row that it would be their last day
-Left trash in our lawn on MULTIPLE occasions (we know it is not our garbage because there was a cup from a fast food restaurant with the name Jose on it. None of us are named Jose)
-Left all of our belongings in the garage uncovered and let them sit in dust for 5 weeks. Told us they would clean everything off and they never did.
-Spilled paint on the brand new carpet that had just been installed and let it dry there so it now will not come out.
-Threw away a bag of my roommate's personal items because they did not check the contents to see if it was actually garbage or not.
-One of the workers gave significant attitude to us when we would try and communicate expectations to him that his boss told us he had for them
-Showed up hours late too many times to count
-Sometimes didn't show up at all on days they were scheduled to
-Provided absolutely no communication on when they would be arriving
-Left the carpet and old drywall that had to be taken out due to the flooding in our lawn to rot for multiple weeks along with their trash from fast food restaurants
The only person from this company that was helpful during this experience was the team's manager, Jackson. He was unfortunately completely unaware of the situation at hand until he came by at the time the house was supposed to be nearing completion and noticed it was barely halfway done. After this, he called one of the team members and told them to arrive at 9 am every day from that point on. They did not show up at 9 am a single time.

Restoration at its best! Three weeks of rain revealed 2 leak with mold on the ceiling and in my kitchen. Steve promptly came over and checked it out. He sent a wonderful roofer to check out the roof and things were fixed. No more leaks or mold.Best person and company!!

Excellent service from start to finish! Steve and Kyle were extremely helpful getting our reconstruction started and our home back in order in a matter of weeks. Jackson and team did an amazing job putting in new flooring for our entire downstairs and even rebuilt a custom built-in bookshelf that had also been damaged. They were communicative throughout the entire process and made sure that everything was up to our expectation on top of finishing earlier than projected. 10/10 service, I’ll be recommending Edmondson to everyone I know for mitigation and reconstruction!

I was introduced to Edmondson Restoration by a neighbor who had worked with him prior. In May 2023 my house caught fire. As you can image my family and I were devastated. We had significant damages from the fire as well as water damage throughout our house. I called Kyle a couple of days later and he immediately made me and my family feel that he could help us get things corrected. Kyles team immediately started the remediation process by removing all damaged materials, wet carpet and drywall, placing tarp over roof and windows and placing fans throughout home to prevent mold growth. Edmondson Restoration cares about your property. Kyle and Jim were always willing to share their experience and expertise when I wasn’t sure what to do about a situation. They were also extremely patient with me when I had questions or concerns about the construction process. If there were problems the issue was resolved quickly. The construction process is now complete at my house however Edmondson Restoration played a major role in the successful completion of my project. Thanks Kyle, Jim and Team for a job well done. Edmondson Restoration came in and did some repair work from damage caused by our water heater, drywall, flooring, & paint. They did everything in a timely manner and everything looks great! Highly Recommend!

We've been renovating our little house over the last couple of years, and it was painfully obvious the previous owners hadn't cleaned out the ducts since they installed 20 years ago. We decided we needed to have them done since we had done a lot of sanding in the house and the house always seemed musty and dusty. I can't say enough good thing about these folks! Not only did they come out and clean the ducts (which was a task, you better believe...), but when it seemed like something wasn't quite right they sent the guys back out to have another look and work on them again without question. The lovely gentlemen were professional, considerate and just awesome to work with all around. Could not have asked for better!

As a Professional Home Inspector, from time to time I have clients that request referrals to restoration companies when life, or acts of God occur. Clients also request for remediation in the event that I confirm the microbial growth in their newly purchased home is mold. I use to give a list of referral sources, but too many times other companies maybe didn't handle the client with the care they should have.

At this time I can gladly say that Edmondson Restoration is my only referral source for remediation and restoration. Kyle takes his time with the client, and provides the same customer service and experience that I do in my business. The majority of the restoration business in SC is saturated with sales people without the experience and knowledge.
