The technicians that came out were great and very helpful. My only concern is that I was told my service was covered under warranty at no cost due to a defective part. Because of this I tipped the technicians $70 for their time to then receive a bill in the mail for $157. The intent wasn’t meant to be misleading but definitely ended up being so. Still highly recommend!

The service tech was great and the work performed was satisfactory. My issue was with the billing department. I told the technician that the invoice needs to go to the home owner’s new address/email (I am the property manager). They only sent the invoice in the form of a letter, which was not received by the owners or me as the property is a rental, so it did not go to the home owner’s new address/email. Afterwards I got a letter in the mail from a collections agency, to my personal address not the owners address. You’d think that in this day and age I would’ve received an email or a phone call before getting sent to collections. The bill would have been immediately taken care of if it was received, as it was immediately taken care of when I received it from the collections agency.

Dicks Heating in my opinion is 'Customer Service' at its best. We used them for a furnace fix through our home and appliance warranty at the time. After their visit they offered a yearly maintenance plan which was reasonably priced and after so many years of paying for this service, they said they would come check the furnace out free of charge for the continued life of that furnace and replace (at our cost and purchase) new filters. They kept their word. For a number of years, they continued with that yearly visit until we sold out property and moved. When I rang to inform that they we no longer needed them to keep to the yearly commitment they made, they told me that when we purchased a new property, as long as it was in their area, that they would commit to continuing to service our new furnace (for its life) free of charge again. This company is professionalism at its best as they are about the only company that we have dealt with that put the customer first and foremost. Kudos to them!

One star is pushing it. Do not I repeat do not do business with these scammers. Our air conditioner wasn’t working and we called Dick’s. It took them over two weeks to come out and we were told we needed a new system inside and out to the tune of $12,500. This is a 91-year-old woman’s home that is 20 years old. We called Climatek heating and air. They came out three days later, changed three capacitors, added a little bit of coolant and washed the coils. And we were up and running. I told him about the quote we had gotten from Dick’s. Instead of badmouthing a company that absolutely deserves it. He simply said, I have to be able to sleep at night. After speaking to a friend who works in another city in HVAC, he explained that they get huge bonuses for selling new systems, So the industry is ripe with scammers. Shame on you, Dick’s heating and air for trying to scam a 91 year-old woman!

Their entire staff went out of their way to help me acquire a part that I needed in a pinch, even going so far as to fabricate it for me the same day. I used annual leave to take time off of work and commute back to my house to meet the technician. 15 minutes before the appointment they said they can’t make it. Cost me about $150 in time. Then they said it was an emergency - that’s fine those things happen. But when I pressed them how long the knew about this emergency they demurred, and stated they couldn’t find my phone number. Lame.

Excellent job with obvious customer service in mind. They installed a new electrical panel and element in my water heater. 2 months later the 2nd panel also failed. They only charged me for parts for the 2nd panel and installed it immediately. Fair prices and timely service. I will be returning to Dick’s Heating for all future needs and it will be a bonus to work with Bob again.

Called on a Sunday for emergency service, was told if I could wait until Monday I wouldn’t have to pay the time and a half for weekend work. When I spoke to them on Monday morning they couldn’t fit me into their schedule until the following Monday! Clearly their on call technician just wanted to go sledding with his kids.

The outside unit system stopped cooling on a late Friday afternoon - right as the forecast was predicting 100+ degree weather and just before company was to arrive. Thankfully I was able to get a Saturday appointment. I knew it was going to cost a bit more but I also knew it would be worth the money to get it fixed. The repair person arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, had the part and made the repair. Thank you for your reliable, timely service!

UPDATE: if you call a business to complain that the bill was twice what they told you it would be over the phone and they tell you that’s what they’re charging and there’s nothing you can do about it, that basically means ‘go f yourself’. I find it amusing that they are exercising their right to refuse me service when they are the last business I would ever call. I recommend Central WA Heating to everyone I talk to. They charge reasonable amounts and do great work, without the absolute disrespect and unprofessionalism I received from Dick’s which, by the way, is aptly named. I tell everyone I know not to use Dick’s and recommend every one do the same.

UPDATE: they basically said go f yourself we’ll overcharge you more than twice what we said we would and there is nothing you can do about it. Well I am not being ripped off and didn’t pay. They sent me to collection, and I disputed the charge. And now I’ve been served for a lawsuit. OVER LESS THAN $300. I will gladly pay a lawyer more than that to stop these unethical vultures from ripping people off.

Service was good and service person friendly and efficient. However, price was more than they quoted me when I called to schedule and they added a 'travel and van fee'. Really? Is this not a cost of doing business? They are already charging $105 an hour for service. Then when I called to pay, informed me they would charge a 3% fee for paying with a card. It's 2021 and everyone pays with a card. Was informed I could bring cash to their office or send a check like its 1999. Ridiculous! I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future, and recommend you do the same.

If they gave hero awards for ac service, Dick’s would win hands down! My ac went out the middle of June, after being repaired by another company in town, who assured me it was in perfect working order. This other company had to have my fan motor rebuilt, which took over a week, because it was too old and not made any more, so would not have a warranty. The day after they installed this wonderful rebuilt motor, my system began arcing, sparking and shut down. I called Dick’s - the tech came on the hottest day of our record heat - bless his heart he found my rebuilt motor was wound backwards! - had one IN HIS VAN - replaced it, got my system going - I was so worried he would have heat stroke! I gave him Gatorade, a cooling towel - he was patient, kind, never lost his professional attitude or temper - he was a rockstar! The first company charged me over $900 - Dick’s? $300! Guess who my new HVAC people are! From the initial call to when I paid my bill they were so kind, so caring, so easy to work with. Please choose Dick’s Heating & Air Conditioning!

They were out to our home on 12-3 to give us an estimate on a new heat pump. After checking the unit it was discovered that we didn’t need a new heat pump after all. I called them regarding my A/C not working. I also e-mailed them from their web site. I told the person, who informed me she was new, this is an emergency since I have guests coming in tomorrow. She never called me back, never answered my e-mail or text. When I called, she told me to call someone else, they are unable to handle this repair. They installed my furnace & A/C when I built the house new.
I don't recommend this company, don't use them.

Tech came out checked system found an old filter that had been pushed into the air intake removed it because it was restricting the airflow said everything else was great system is working awesome. The office staff was incredibly! I have never been reminded about a service call before great to have someone touch bases before appointment!

Above and beyond service call. All I had was a piece of paper blowing around in my HVAC fan compartment. The entire HVAC system was checked for issues. A few minor issues were adjusted to prevent issues down the road. Even tough it was only a minor issue.....Piece of mind was brought back to all that live in the home.
