I have called this company more than once asking for a courtesy call from the owner. I guess after multiple times he's too busy. If they owner is that lax to return a call, you might find yourself in the same situation of worse. The girl who answered the phone behaved if it was a complaint. No, it was someone who wanted an estimate. Here is your complaint.

We used Ronnie Davis Roofing this past Spring. We had the entire roof replaced and it was done in one day. After having multiple roofing companies come out and give me quotes Davis Roofing is the one that came in the most competitive.

The best. You won't find a better, more professional and competent and trustworthy roofing (and gutter) contractor and staff anywhere. Never even a hint of upselling attempted; honest and friendly too. Quality materials and work at very reasonable prices. I have been a 100% happy customer for 15+ years.

I had a small leak in our roof, and it dripped into our attic. Luckily, I spotted it before the water had caused any ceiling damage and was able to slide a bucket under it. This was the easy part. The hard part was finding a roofer willing to take on what probably was going to be a small job. I had a referral to contact Davis Roofing, and i was glad that i did. They came out, fixed some old flashing on a bathroom drainpipe that appeared to be the likely culprit and inspected the rest of the roof. But the leak remained! So they came back out right away, worked some more and finally found a tiny rusted nail that was the source. No extra charge. Super nice crew. And most importantly, responsive. I never felt like I was going to be left hanging.

This company did work on my neighbor's roof and all of a sudden, I got a leak where the party wall meets. They did not take responsibility for this. The owner called me to speak down to me, was rude, uncouth and unprofessional. I had 3 other roofing companies come out to assess what was causing my leak. They all felt it was because this company did not put back my shingles when they did work to my neighbors house. Davis attempted to intimidate me by showing up with 4 men on my front step when I have a small child in the house. They are very rude, unprofessional and typical of someone who does not take accountability for their mistakes. We will be compensated for this damage.

Was told by Jennifer that they would show on Tuesday morning 11 Aug. She called me 415 Monday PM but I got to phone seconds late. Called back 3 times and left msg to call me. Called back Tues to find out when coming. NEVER got a courtesy call back and now scrambling to get 1 gutter serviced and I am 2 miles from them. I'm over 70, 90% disabled vet and fell off ladder at 915am Tues trying to do myself and fell on left shoulder and back. Now got doc appt 10am wednesday 12 Aug to check shoulder. Thanks Davis for great neighborhood service.

Mr. Davis is at the office very early in the morning and is great to talk to, very professional and courteous. The prices are excellent and his workers are very knowledgeable, they also took the time to explain the things that needed to be done and answered any questions I had. I find it a pleasure to deal with an honest AND affordable business for a change.

Mr Davis and his team are extremely thorough and take the time to explain what the issue is, what they need to do to rectify it and that a repair is sometimes 'trial and error'. They have been out 3x to assist with a repair and have never once considered it a bother, rather, every time it has been their intent to manage and complete the repair with positive results.
I highly recommend their services.

Service questions

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
