It’s hard to find contractors that do great work and are also communicative and reliable. Everest Home Improvement is fantastic in all of those areas and I would highly recommend them to anybody in the DMV area. They installed recessed lighting, fixed our uneven drywall ceilings, painted the house, and installed a textured accent wall in our basement. It was nice getting photos of the progress every day, and they even came back afterwards and did a quality control walkthrough to make sure everything was perfect before closing the project. Their crews were on time and professional, and the work was high quality. I can’t recommend Randy, Diana, and the team enough!

We chose Everest after receiving quotes from a few different contractors. Overall, we are very happy with how our dry bar turned out. The contractors working on the project were extremely knowledgeable and had a lot of experience, especially Joel who was managing the project. They also kept the work area clean and tidy and we were able to still use our kitchen during the week of the project. It took about one week to complete, but the majority of the work was done in one day. Great job.

We hired Everest Home Improvement to finish our basement. There were a few setbacks along the way due to communication issues on their end, but each time there was an issue they owned up to it and made it right, which says a lot (hence the five stars). Melissa is a rockstar and we really enjoyed working with her as well as the whole team, including the tradesmen. Overall, it came out great and we are glad we chose to hire EHI for the job.

We recently used Everest to help with a bathroom remodel and we are thrilled with absolutely everything. Our sales rep, Andre, did a great job getting to know us and what we were looking for with this project. He built a detailed proposal the encompassed everything we had discussed. Melissa was extremely helpful with the selection process and keeping us in budget. Prior to starting the project, they arranged to have a walk through with us and everyone working on the project to confirm we were all on the same page. During demo, the crew found that hidden in our walls were some substantial wood rot. The team worked quickly to address the issue and prepared a change order for the additional work. It was impossible for anyone to have foreseen this issue, but I am so happy Everest was able to correct it the right way. The owner even called us directly to apologize for the additional work, even though it was not their fault at all. Our project manager, Arnold, is so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I often was not able to reach out to him with questions until after I was finished with work in the evening. He always answered my calls, and handled any questions or concerns quickly and efficiently. We absolutely love all the work Everest did I would highly recommend them to anyone considering any remodeling project.

Everest did an excellent job with our complete bathroom remodel, which included a new shower, vanities, floor, electrical, and even relocation of a wall and relocating a door. Our project was the largest Randy ever did, the first for us, and under those circumstances Randy's outfit did a great job. We turned a garage into very nice and comfortable living space for me and my wife. Of course, problems surfaced and in most cases Everest adjusted rapidly and fairly. If I have any suggestions, and these apply to whoever you contract with, is to: 1) make the initial work contract as detailed as possible, and 2) negotiate change orders before work on those change orders start.

We had our basement completely refinished by Everest and had a great experience. Communication was prompt, open and honest. The work was complete according to schedule and of good quality. The entire process was simple from the first phone call to final completion.

We decided to add a hidden door that looks like a bookcase leading to a "speak easy" very late in the project. Randy and his team were able to jump right on it and complete the complicated install while maintianing the original schedule.

I just find it poor quality customer service to visit a potential client and not follow up on it's own words.

The gentleman that came out was very professional. We requested a quote to finish our basement. We were told we would get the quote by the following Friday. It’s been over a month and we have never received a quote and they have not responded to our follow ups. I was very straight with the gentleman in explaining that if our budget expectations were unreasonable, then just let us know and we will not waist their time. Next time, just let us know if we aren’t worth your time so we can move on

We also had recess lighting added in our kitchen, living room, and dining room, and 6 new doors installed. Finally, we had four rooms painted. All of the work looks outstanding! During the project, we had an issue with our roof due to weather. Randy’s team fixed the roof and the price was excellent.

Recently moved into a townhome/condo that was built in 1999 and had the original windows and sliding glass door which were not efficient/functional in any manner. Randy and his team replaced my large windows in the living room and windows in the family room and sliding glass door. The installation team was thoughtful and courteous… they ensured they left my home in the same condition as when they started. I needed to replace a large door due to some rot in part of the frame causing a water leak. Randy & his team were a pleasure to work with. The door is a better quality than the one I had, the repairs from the leak damage look great, you would never know it happened! Our 1970 contemporary home has been utterly transformed by these gentlemen and their team of artisans. I first met them at their office @workawaysolutions, a cool coworking venue, and they took the time to know exactly what we needed, with Marvin windows and James Hardie siding. I cannot say enough about Chris and Randy @everesthomeimprovement. They helped us with the financing and they are detail oriented from start to finish. Highly, highly, highly recommend.

Replaced large roof on my house in DC (new shingles). They found some rotting boards which they replaced. Very professional. A nearly 10 hour job for several workers (again, a LARGE roof). Chris was there the whole day to oversee and talk with me about the project. Very happy with the result.

Just had a new roof installed by Everest Home Improvement. Chris is excellent. Everything was done via phone, I did not even have to be present. They finished everything in half a day. I saw a small crack on one of our window and I did not think it was a big deal. A few months later, the crack spread across the entire window and this window is the size of double the front door. I was panicking because if it was going to break we will be in trouble if it rain. As the same time I was wondering if I have to call my home insurance to report a claim on this window because I thought I would cost thousands of dollar to fix.
So I called Chris Shoemaker with Everest Home Improvement for advise. He was able to come for the estimate that same day and I did not have to be home. To my surprise his estimate was less then my deductible. A week later his men called and say they will come to install the new window at 7 pm. They were very professional and prompt. They help take out the blind, cover the floor with sheet. The whole process only take about 30 minutes. Bette yet, the window is life time warranty.
