So apparently they don't do roofs on sheds, even though my house roof would have been next year with the same company. Sad for the response that my shed sixteen by four by four, which needed replaced as well as all the plywood, wasn't even going to be looked at very disappointed in this company. When jobs are too small for big companies one day, they will wish for their small jobs

So i'm sorry if I offended you, but that should be stated, really well on your website.That you don't do anything smaller than houses. So please be careful how you speak to someone also. I knew I needed a new roof after finding shingles in the yard and watching my roof vents flap in the wind. I dreaded getting quotes, knowing prices likely doubled since I first put it off before COVID.

Several roofing companies showed up uninvited. Two were just lead generators, their salespeople didn’t even show up until a week later. And when they did? It felt like a used car sale.

One in particular (P.R. with an earth logo) took over two hours of my time, showing videos, bashing other products, and pushing “superior” materials I’m pretty sure were fake. When I finally got the quote — $26,000 for about 19 squares of shingles, vents, drip edge, etc. — I laughed. I even pulled up the actual material costs to show him how ridiculous it was. I was sad, thinking I might end up doing this roof myself.
Then they started playing pricing games. Said they had a crew in the area — dropped the price a couple grand. I still laughed. Then a “flex schedule” discount — dropped another 2–3k. Still laughed. Then they “found” a new customer coupon for another 5k off. Still laughed. Finally, they offered $15k if I signed on the spot. I gave the guy a Sprite and left to stop the madness. Even with all that, Craig Gouker was still significantly less — and far more professional.

I got other quotes too. One was from “two guys in a truck” — the price was decent, but I wasn’t confident they were licensed or insured. Another was from a big-name storm chaser not even based in PA, with bad follow-up reviews. All these companies came to me uninvited.

Eventually I decided to call around myself. CGR was an obvious name to try. Brian from CGR stopped by while I was picking up my kids. By the time I got home, he’d already looked over the roof. He walked me through their process, handed me samples, and was done in 10 minutes. A day later, I had the quote. I scrolled straight to the price and was shocked, not only was it reasonable, it was barely more than the “2 guys in a truck” quote. I re-read it to make sure everything was included. It was. I replied right away and said, “Let’s do it.”

CGR sent an awesome prep checklist: move cars, cover landscaping, move grills, prep for materials, etc. A few weeks later, I got a heads-up they might start Friday or Saturday but Friday had all day rain in the forecast, so I didn’t expect them. But Friday morning, I hear: “The roofers are here!” from my wife. It felt like Christmas. A dump truck rolled in, ladders went up, and they laid tarps and nets to protect my 50+ bushes and trees.

At one point, there were 8 guys on the roof. I asked if they were worried about the rain. “We’ll have you dried in by 1,” one said. He wasn’t kidding. By the time it sprinkled at 12:30, the old roof was off, the underlayment and drip edges were done, new pipe covers installed, and 20% of the new roof was on. From now on I'm asking a roofer what the weather is going to be.

We had to leave around 3. At that point they were wrapping up the bay window and already cleaning. When we returned, it was like they’d never been there. Not a single nail or shingle in sight — even the gravel bits from the old shingles were 99.5% gone. I’ve never seen a contractor leave a site that clean.

I used to do roofing on the side years ago, so I know what a good job looks like. CGR nailed it. From quote to cleanup, they were the real deal.

I’m very pleased with Craig Gouker Roofing installing both mine and my neighbor’s roofs on our townhouses at the same time this week. Tim and his diligent crew arrived at 730 am and were finished by 2pm. Crew members were polite and hard working, stopping only for a quick break during the day. Tim explained the process to me, asked if there were any questions while they worked and cleaned front and back yards thoroughly. Craig Gouker Roofing (CGR) replaced our 23 year-old roof. Every step of the way, we dealt with personable & professional staff. Our questions were answered quickly, sample houses were referenced to view for color selection, the estimate was very clearly presented, and we were notified within a few days' notice of the start time. Instructions were given of what to expect and the length of work time was estimated and they even finished a day earlier than expected.

The gentlemen doing the roof work were a pleasure to have here. They were friendly and worked quickly. I have yet to find one nail or any garbage left in my yard. That's impressive! I highly recommend CGR if you are considering a roof replacement. My only regret...I didn't get to meet Craig in person. EXCELLENT service.

I had a great experience with Craig Gouker Roofing for a new roof and gutter guards. Communication with their office is quick and staff is very knowledgeable (Kristin answered all of my questions and assisted me with choosing the right products for the job). They gave a fair and reasonable quote for the project. The work was done in half a day, and they cleaned the property thoroughly after the job was done. Our experience with Craig Gouker Roofing (CGR) was topflight from the initial phone call through the departure of their last truck after the cleanup. Communications with Kristin, the Office Manager, were flawless, Brian the Senior Estimator, arranged and kept our appointment, explained the approach to the job and the materials to be used, provided a detailed written estimate, and answered our questions in a timely fashion. We obtained four bids (or rather three bids and one insult!) for the work. We generally try to select the best bid overall rather than just the lowest, but in this case CGR's was both. The crew arrived at the promised time, and they are very well staffed and equipped. Kevin, the Project Manager, explained the approach to the job, asked if we had any questions, and the team got right to work. The job went pretty much as planned and after the installation was completed, the crew spent close to two hours going over our property cleaning up all debris. We had them replace our house roof and our barn roof as well and they both look great! We are very happy that we selected CGR for the job.

Hired them for a new roof and gutters. One of the lowest bids I ended up getting for a quote, especially gutters. Very high quality work and great communication throughout the process. I am really happy with the end product. Was able to split payment between cash and financing very easily.

From start to finish, the CGR team made everything easy and I am beyond pleased with the final results. My initial estimate was provided quickly and included a possible contingency (which was helpful for budgeting). The team that came out to the house each day was pleasant and all clearly took pride in their work. Without hesitation, I would recommend them again and again (and have!).

My mother needed a new roof, and she was getting one quote after another from "contractors" roaming her neighborhood. I stopped by Craig Gouker to get a legitimate quote for her. Had a leak in my roof that caused damage to my living room ceiling. Called CGR on a Thursday, had an inspection the next day, and a new roof completed a week later. Very pleased with how fast everyone worked and how painless and streamline the whole process was. The workers on site were very professional and polite, leaving behind zero mess. Would definitely recommend.

I recently had Craig Gouker Roofing replace the roof on my house and shed. The crew arrived at 8am and were finishing up by 3 pm. I found the workers very efficient and courteous. I feel the cost was very fair and it all looks great. I have a dog and was concerned about nails or debris being left behind. They had a large crew that never stopped working! The roof and gutters were all replaced in 1.5 days! They didn’t leave a mess behind and did a wonderful job! Definitely would recommend!

New roofs can be an expensive and long process and you just hope and pray the Company is Reputable and their employees are skilled. Issues with a new roof can be frustrating and damaging to your home and a lot of roofers aren't around long enough to honor a warranty. That's not the case with Craig Goucker roofing.

I contacted Craig in May to install asphalt roof and fascia and gutters. They arrived on time, stripped and shingled my roof in less than 8 hours, on the hottest day of the year with temps in the mid 90's. The Next day Jim and his crew arrived at 6:30 to finish the flashing and gutters.

I could not be happier with Craig Goucker. From Kristin to each and every other person who worked on my house. The Entire process was very easy.

One important thing to mention is after the Job was complete I noticed a few Minor issues and I contacted Kristin on a Saturday, Never expecting a response until Monday, They responded back same day and Monday morning I received a call that they were on their way to fix the issues.

We heard about this place through a pamphlet we received in the mail. Since our siding was falling apart with pests living inside and our roof needed work, this was a timely advertisement. We contacted a couple companies about our siding and a couple about our roof.

We ended up going with Craig Gouker for both our roof and siding for our house, and they did a phenomenal job. They had a nice showroom floor with friendly staff and a friendly receptionist to give us some tips, and the reps that came and looked at our property to submit the proposal did a great job explaining the project.

The crew showed up on time and completed the entire project in less than a week, and they were awesome -- super friendly, and frankly fun to be around and talk with in passing. They worked so hard and were so careful and respectful of our home (I work from home). I'm so glad for the work they did, and I will definitely recommend this place to people I come across.

From start to finish, everything went smoothly. Everyone was professional and actually cared about what they were doing. The crew didn't cut corners or do the bare minimum - they went above and beyond. All of the work (roof, flashing, soffit, fascia, siding, gutters, porch posts) exceeded my expectations. And the cost was reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

From the moment I stepped foot into the storefront at Millennium shops, I was impressed with Craig Gouker Roofing. I stopped to in to ask a few questions and get a quote. Brian came out the next day and said they would send an email shortly with the quote. We decide to have them complete our project. I had multiple conversations with Craig, and it’s not often that you get to speak directly with the owner, and I really appreciated that. Craig was great at recommending shingle colors and what I thought I wanted vs what he suggested, he and Kristen were spot on in the color choice to compliment our house, I never would have selected it myself, he know his business and is what I would consider an expert. We were scheduled within the week. They showed up as promised at 7:30 am Saturday morning. My wife joked that they were like a tiny army. 10 guys showed and without hesitation and got to work.
