Adam the project manager from Cleary building did a great job from the building design all the way through to completion.
Cleary provided the plans and building of the addition to our existing Cleary home. We could not be happier with the professionalism, skill and care that went into our project.
Patrick Anderson was very helpful during the design phase, making several modifications to keep us on budget and maintain the features we needed.

What Users Like The Least

Communication is non existent here.
This is probably the worse company I’ve ever done business with.
We still have not received any return calls. This is probably one of the most unprofessional group of people I have encountered.

Adam the project manager from Cleary building in Blackhawk SD did a great job from the building design all the way through to completion . He was always available to answer questions throughout the process and took a personal interest to make sure everything went as planned . Both he and his team of contractors were first rate and I would highly recommend them to anyone .

Very happy with final product of our building. Peaks and valleys during construction process however Shawn the district manager contacted me to discuss my frustrations. Due to his follow up and appreciated discussion on the issues this turned into a 5 star review. Excellent communication Shawn and thank you! Update 1-9-2025. Cleary finally completed my building on 12-31-24 with being fully paid off in mid July. Local Cleary office management has horrible customer relation skills with not keeping customers informed. Local manager was shockingly rude and threatening when contacting corporate on my dissatisfaction. Crew left garbage laying out and cigarette butts all over when there was a garbage can on site. Little to no respect for the customer is my overall experience.
Issac(Local sales) and Shawn(District manager) were very helpful and professional. Great job gentlemen! In speaking with others in my area that are in the process with the Local Cleary they are having very similar experiences. Lowered my review to 2 stars and that is only due to Issac and Shawn.

Communication is non existent here. I called 3-4 months ago as we were just starting to plan a barndo and the guy was very rude. Said he'd get some plans over to me soon. Roughly 1 month later he texts me asking if we're still interested. I said yes and sent him over our plans/ideas, and was once again told he'd look over them and get back to me. This was over a month ago, he still has not gotten back to me. If I can't get a call or text back regarding plans, I could only imagine the struggle we'd have if there was an issue during a build. We will not be doing business here.

This is probably the worse company I’ve ever done business with. Don’t sign a contract unless you take it to an attorney. Finished the building not as we paid for , however his favorite response was per contract!! Of course he tried to change the contract several times!!!
All in all I will do my best to spare anyone all the drama he put us through!!! Be careful .
He cost himself 4 jobs that we’ve referred to an other company. A company that wants referrals!
For all the people that he didn’t respond to, thank your lucky stars.

We are very pleased with the Cleary Team! Patrick Anderson was very helpful during the design phase, making several modifications to keep us on budget and maintain the features we needed..

When construction started, the first foreman Dave, realized right away our build site would be a difficult area to dig the holes for the columns, so rather spend time and money he called for heavier equipment.

Wil was the foreman for the remaining construction, he and his crew worked long hours, were professional, safe, and at the end of each day left the job site with the trash in a central location.

We are extremely happy with the building and if we need an additional building, Cleary will be the first number we will call.

We highly recommend Cleary Building Corp for anyone looking for a quality barn built by a professional team.

We have tried to do business with you, we have called numerous times with promises of return calls. We still have not received any. This is probably one of the most unprofessional group of people I have encountered. If you are not interested just tell us. Receptionist has taken many of husbands calls but never a return one. I really don't know how you can run a business like that. With the way businesses are trying to stay alive you must be a business that can pick and choose your customers, lucky you. If I am asked about doing business with you it will be a very negative review.
