We had a very positive experience with Jon White. He was very pleasant and efficient and explained clearly, with photos, all of the information about our chimney and what is work is needed. This was exactly what we had hoped for.

Mike and Mike were excellent. They worked quickly and neatly, did a thorough job. They even fixed a crooked vent pipe and found a small problem that I was not aware of and fixed that...all without any extra charges. Highly recommend Chimney Savers!

My local chimney company referred me to Chimney Savers and I am glad they did. Every interaction from my first phone call to schedule an inspection was positive. Communication from the office was clear, follow up was prompt, and today's visit from Jon was as delightful as a visit with a very expensive diagnosis can be. Before he even walked in the door, he could tell my dog was anxious and got down on her level to greet her with friendly reassurance. He had me watch as he scanned the inside of the flues, explaining what I was seeing and why. After cleaning up (although he also worked without creating much mess to begin with), he gave a detailed report of all his findings and recommendations for repairs. He offered multiple options for how I might proceed with fireplace flues, answered all my questions, and had a quote to me before the end of the day. I will continue to use Chimney Savers for routine chimney maintenance from now on. I was very impressed with Jon's level of training, the technology he had to be able to do his job well, and his ability to explain what he saw so that I'm confident in following his recommendations.

Nick was very kind and professional and inspected everything very thoroughly! He also saw that our wood stove situation was unique and wanted to get more information from the other technicians to ensure that we were given quotes on the best and safest possible options to use the stove safely. Our house is a very old house and he was careful to look at all the things that need to be considered with old Vermont houses and did so in a way that prevented any damage to surrounding things. He even showed me some of the footage and explained what I was seeing while scoping the flu. I felt very confident in the inspection and was appreciative of the care he took to get the information needed for the report. Thank you so much Nick!

Chimney Savers has been reliable and super communicative since we have been in our first old old home with our first wood stove these pat 4 years. I highly recommend Chimney Savers. They recently installed a new fireplace insert for me, and I was very impressed with their team's work. In a little over 3 hours they had finished the job which included:
- removing the old insert and chimney liner
- sweeping the masonry of the chimney
- installing a new insert and chimney liner
- they even removed the old chimney cap and installed a new one because the masonry was damaged

From my perspective, they made quick work of the job and the team was super professional and courteous. They laid drop cloths from the door to the fireplace and thoroughly cleaned up afterward. I'm very happy that I chose Chimney Savers for this job!

These people are the pros! Leo and his colleague are so professional and thoughtful. No upselling and just pure excellence in their service and know-how. They do so much more than simply sweep the chimney--they are technicians, so the price may be more than others, but so is the service and expertise.

Took a while to get an appointment, but once booked, great communication, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable technicians who cleaned and inspected our 2 chimneys, and wonderful information about potential repairs, including photos showing the condition of existing parts and photos of potential replacement parts.

The technician arrived a little early and was professional and courteous. I felt he was focused on his work and his explanation of the findings was clear. Well Done! As for other customers, the price for the service is gulp worthy. However, considering the quality of the inspection, I felt confident that the consultation and cleaning were top notch. The price is reasonable considering the stakes are high for an older chimney.

Much like last year the guys were quick and professional, asked questions and made recommendations that were helpful and beneficial to our heating system, as well as they weren't bothered that our furnace is in a bit of a dungeon, or that I had to take off for a medical appointment pretty shortly into the visit. Will absolutely book again for next year.

The technician for the cleaning/inspection arrived right on time, was very thorough and gave a great report of the findings.

The technician was nice and cleaned the stove and chimney as requested. He was suppose to bring replacement bricks for the bottom of the stove. We ordered these in July and were told they would replace them when the cleaning was done. He didn’t bring the bricks when he came. This could be a lack of internal communication or the purchasing department failed to order them. He now has to come back again to replace the bricks which is an inconvenience to us.

Rico and his team were excellent. The guys were on-time, professional, and friendly. Rico provided a step by step explanation of the work to be done and a thorough walk-through after completion. I would definitely have these guys back to do any masonry and chimney work.

Leo and crew were very friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about all things flus, chimneys and wood stoves. Leo gave us a thorough report after viewing our flus with cameras from attic, roof, and actual sites. He sat with us to let us see the footage on an IPad.

Spencer serviced my chimney and wood stove yesterday. He is terrific, was very informative, efficient and thorough. Everything was very clean when he left. I highly recommend him and chimney savers and will definitely continue to use them.

Jon came to do the yearly cleaning on our wood stove and stove pipe. He was such friendly young man and so professional. He did an amazing job. He was so careful to be neat as he did his job. We appreciated it. A wonderful job! We will continue to have Chimney Savers come each year, as long as Jon or Leo do our maintenance. Leo did our maintenance last year and he was great too. They are both great at their job!

Zach and Phil came to help install a shield around our pipe going into our attic from the chimney. They were very good at communicating, answered our questions, showed us photos, and were great with our dog. Would highly recommend! Fantastic experience with both Zach and Phil at the end of a long week.

This is my second time having chimney savers come clean my chimney after the winter. I am very satisfied with the results. Their technicians are polite, on-time, and always clean up after they finish their work. I definitely plan to use their services next summer as well. This visit was to evaluate work they did 4 yrs ago because we are now having moisture penetration to the inside of fireplace. Their service manager is out this week and we need to discuss past and present condition once estimate comes in.

From setting up the appointment to the day-of service, every step of the process was met with a friendly attitude and an uncommonly good amount of communication. Leo, the chimney sweep and technician who performed our service, did an exceptionally thorough job, provided helpful information, left the work area as clean as it was when they arrived, ensured all of my questions were answered, and informed me of what to expect of next steps. I cannot recommend Chimney Savers enough. Particularly in contrast to other service type businesses in the area, this was a breath of fresh air and a great value.

Alan's team was thorough, always on time and actively communicated throughout the project with photos of the progress. I wish all companies operated this way. I know nothing about the structure of a fireplace and they educated me without making me feel like a dummy.
