December 2021, CHS installed a new dishwasher and repaired an intermittent leak under our kitchen sink. We live in an older house with non-standard countertops and others refused the job because the work might become too complicated and not worth their time. Mike responded to my phone message promptly, showed up when he said he would, and got the job done properly-at a reasonable cost. I will have him back soon to do some electrical work for us.

Extremely responsive and available within days. Very pleased with the work. Installed eight curtain rods in just over and hour. Great value.

Charleston Handy Man privately owned was a great experience. On time good service and well priced. Better priced than the franchise Handy Man. Very clean is ready to do your handy items when he walks in the door. Great tools! Highly recommend.

I can't speak to the quality of the work because my appointment was canceled day of and my calls and texts to reschedule went unanswered so I went ahead with someone else. Something may have come up, but to me this is very inconsiderate of other people's time and schedules. A simple text would have gone a long way.

No show for pre-coordinated appointment and would not answers any texts or phone calls over the course of six hours. Rate seemed a bit high too ($150/hr), but I really needed the help. It's a shame because it looks like, from other reviews, that this used to be a good business.

Michael came to install my dryer after hours of trying to ourselves. It was a challenge for him as well, but he didn't give up and was very successful. When I called him he returned my call and came the same day. He's also reliable because the first man stood me up. Yes, I would call Charleston Handyman Solutions again. Satisfied customer here!

Could not be happier and never said that he couldn’t do something if I asked. Just kept adding value to the job with so much extra. Could not have asked for more.

Called about a coaxial outlet install. Told me he would come and check everything out that same day for FREE. He actually found a cable for me and explained in perfect detail how to set it up myself...all at no cost. Hands down best and most honest service I’ve ever received

Was looking for a handyman to repair a property we manage and felt Charleston Handyman Solutions would be a good choice based off the reviews and rating they had on Google. Called two days ahead of time and agreed upon a 9:30am appointment for a few small repairs. 9:30 the day of rolls around and I call to confirm they are still coming as nobody is there and I'm waiting around for them to let them in, Mike tells me they will be on location in 15-20 minutes. 10:00am now and still nobody there, so I call again to see whats going on, once again I'm told 15-20 minutes and someone will be there. It's now almost 11 and Mike calls me and tells me they went to a different misscheduled job first and will still be there till past 11am and that we would have to reschedule. So at this point they have already wasted 2 hours of my work day with lip service and phone tag. Well I give them another chance and reschedule for 3pm the same day for them to come complete the work. I once again go out of my way and take time out of my workday to meet them at the property at 3pm and nobody is there. I call again at 3:30pm to ask whats going on and am told that they will be there in 20-45 minutes. So again I'm just waiting for them and 4:30 rolls around and still nobody or a phone call. I call again and get no answer so I leave a voicemail for Mike telling him I'm very upset with the situation and at this point I've felt he's been pretty dishonest with me the entire day. I've told him that I will find another handyman and that I will not be using his service. Finally he calls me back at 5:15 saying they are right around the corner, after I told him I wouldn't not be using them because of the lack of professionalism. Not only did he waste 4 hours of my work day but I did not get a good feeling during any of my calls with him feeling he was being dishonest.

Leaking chimney. Repaired flashing ,put mortar in cracked spots in the chimney stoped the leak. Same day service. Reasonable price.

I had a great experience with Mike and his crew! It was last minute and he gave me a great price with great professional service. Highly recommended!

Mike did a great job with the laundry list of things I needed help with around the house. He was friendly, made sure to clean up as he went and priced his work fairly. I will definitely call him for future handyman needs!

LHS fixed our deteriorating fence gates in less than two days and replaced them with better, more secure gates. Very good work and it looks great! We are keeping their business card for future projects

Not a pleasant experience. It wasn’t easy to find a time convenient for him to come out and fix some wet spots on my loft wall and ceiling. Seemed to have an attitude because I called him back out the second time to fix it again. Then he left my loft a disgusting mess when he was done. I’ll make sure I use someone else next time.

Mike fixed a broken exterior door and deadbolt lock and a hole I had in a piece of drywall. The repairs are seamless and now virtually invisible. He was quite generous about the service, repairing some additional flaws in the front door and giving that and the wall a full coat of new paint. I was also very pleased with his quick, responsive communication prior to and during the job. Highly recommended.

Mike came to our house to install a TV mount into our stone decorative wall. The wall is rigid and completely uneven all around which I thought would make this a major process. Mike was able to drill, stabilize, and align the mount and TV within 20 minutes. He also gave $100 off his original quote because it took him less time than he had anticipated. He very easily could have taken the original quote amount and left which many other companies would do. I will definitely use Mike in the future for other projects.

Mike did a great job with a varied punch list of items at my condo. He installed a light fixture, bathroom vent fan, repaired some tile and trimmed a door that was sticking. A little pricey for handyman services but you get what you pay for and I appreciated the hourly flat rate in this instance versus by the job. He was efficient and cared about the quality of his work.

I don't usually leave reviews but when someone stands me up on a job I felt obligated to let others know. No call or text 2 hours past time he was supposed to show up at my condo. Finally received a text that he was in an accident... no word after that.. no attempt to reschedule or I'm sorry I couldn't make it.

Mike was very professional And completed the project quickly with expertise. He is very pleasant and I would use him again anytime.

He was able to install our dining room chandelier in little to no time, was on time, courteous, and helped to clean up. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great reliable handyman!

Mike did a great job on a rather cumbersome drywall repair! He was eager to get the job done, personable, showed up when he said he would and cleaned up the area. I would recommend.

Michael did a fantastic job making sure he addressed all issues and concerns we had- he took pictures of certain areas of safety concerns for us to submit to Eastwood homes (our builder) for areas that were never properly installed. He helped us make sure that we took the right steps to fix all issues and was incredible with his honesty and integrity. Will definitely use again and refer to anyone looking for great work with honest and fair pricing.

Michael was absolutely fabulous! He went above and beyond to make sure that he took care of all issues he saw, safety being his number one priority, which is huge for a new mom. He not only helped us find the most affordable answer to our electrical and flooring issues, but ensured that we made the best and safest decision when thinking of our family. Would 100% use again and recommend to anyone who needs the guy that makes sure it's done right.

Mike & Phill are two wonderful men who helped me out upon moving across the country into a new apartment. They know what they’re doing and are very professional in their craft! I called Mike at Handy Man Solutions after reading the great reviews others had written. Mike and Mike did not disappoint, they took my call and even called me back to say they could get to me sooner and sent a text when they were on the way. I had an unusual situation with a sub- zero refrigerator door handle in a wood panel. It was new to them but they went for it and got the job done. Very reasonable rates and dependable. Highly recommend these two and will be using them again.

Charleston Handyman did a great job for me and I highly recommend them. Love that they will do the little jobs that I make a mess of when trying to do. For me, they replaced some door moldings, reinstalled a door hook, rehung a closet door and replaced an outside socket cover. They arrived on time and did their work quickly. They even shopped the molding for me! I will definitely use them again.

We were very pleased with the work done by Mike and Mike, they have helped us with multiple jobs (4-5 visits) at our place to help with remodeling our bathroom. We would absolutely recommend them and will continue to seek out their services for help in the future.

I had Mike & Mike out to remove a chandelier in a tricky place and replace it with a new fixture, as well as install track lighting and replace an outlet box. The new light fixture replacing the chandelier turned out to be a really difficult job (I was there watching) and I was expecting them to tell me that it just wasn't going to work. But they somehow found a way, and in my opinion went far beyond what they were expected to do. I would have thrown in the towel much earlier! They were on time, extremely friendly and courteous and above all, they got the job done. Will definitely be calling them again, and would recommend them to anyone.

Michael came highly recommended. He did some electrical work and made other safety suggestions and came back another day (after ordering parts) and did those, as well. He was very easy to communicate with and I would not hesitate to call him in the future.

They where sent by our Solar Company to repair the ceiling after one of their workers almost put his foot through it. Mike and his guy showed up when they said they would, were so polite and so friendly. They repaired the ceiling and returned this morning to paint it. The work they did blends perfectly with the rest of the ceiling. I would absolutely hire this company myself if I ever have work that needs done!
