We just had our roof replaced with Canyon State Roofing and couldn’t be happier. We saw the meticulous work they had done for a neighbor on their roof and were sold. We did get two other bids before our decision but Canyon State beat all on both price and warranty. They replaced all trim as well as bringing everything up to current code. Our roof looks like new! This is my 1st experience with a reroof and received 3 very competitive estimates from well known roofing contractors here in the valley. I decided to go with Jim and Canyon State Roofing and couldn't be happier. Jim was very professional and educated me on the process and options. Miguel and his Team took over and did a fantastic job and kept me in the loop throughout the entire project. Canyon State came out and evaluated the roof and within a day they had written estimates that were flexible depending on what options we chose. Work actually got started a week earlier than scheduled which was great for me. The crew was here early and worked later than I could imagine - it was so hot! The roof looks fine. They repainted the vent pipes and touched up where needed on the stucco. Clean-up was really well done. The workers we so respectful and polite. Canyon State was a pleasure to work with.

After storm damage to my roof, Canyon State Roofing observed the damage, and several days later came out and replaced the damaged tiles. Now the roof looks like it was never damages. Great job.

Canyon State Roofing was very polite,quick and professional when asked to replace our 25 year old tile roof. They came in each day got to work and it was done quickly in just two days. They stayed within their proposed budget and did a great job on the roof. They even cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Our house had a 26+ year old roof. The cement tiles are good pretty much for a lifetime but it was probably past time to replace the underlayment. We also had a substantial amount of dry rot around some of the edge as well as a few of the bird blocks. I sent out for quotes and got 5 responses. Each contractor quoted similar details for the work. Canyon State was the highest priced but also had the highest review rating. I don’t mind paying extra when I feel I will receive a higher quality product or service because in my experience, the extra effort pays benefits over the life of whatever it is that I’m buying or having repaired.

The work was performed by a large group of men who appeared to coordinate their efforts, (everyone seemed to know their duties). Our house size is not overly large and they had what looked potentially like 2 crews doing the job so they were able to get all the work done in a 2 day period and some of that was spent simply waiting for some replacement cement tiles.

In my own experience, no big or complex job is ever done perfectly the first time so I always expect issues that require someone to come back and rectify. This job was no different. There were a few things that might have been done better the first time but Canyon came out to address our concerns and after a few additional hours of labor, everything was finished to my satisfaction. There was no argument or debate. The owner simply walked around with me and took pictures and notes and then his supervisor took care of the details.

The bottom line is this – would I hire them again? The answer is yes. I might have a more critical eye during the final walkaround in order to avoid having to call them back but the bottom line is that the roof looks much better than the original. We have not yet gotten to experience the monsoon season here since the work was finalized but I do not expect any issues given the quality appearance of the roof, the replaced wood and the tiling.

After having five (5) estimates we made our decision to accept Jim’s bid for our roof to be retiled with Canyon State Roofing. We also had the flat roof over our patio reroofed at the same time. The customer service, professionalism and excellence in workmanship was evident each and every day that Miguel, Luis and the CREW were on our property. Care had been taken with covering the swimming pool and protecting both of our air conditioning units. At the end of each workday the perimeter of the house was cleaned and left looking better than ever. I want to mention that Jim and Miguel were only phone call or text message away and willing to answer any and all questions we ever had. Their use of a drone was able to show us the reroof in progress, which was really cool. The final walk through was completed and confirmed the job was done correctly. We highly recommend Canyon State Roofing for any roofing needs. They’re slogan “We know a better way” is spot on!!

I got bids from 7 contractors and Canyon State Roofs wasn't the lowest, but had the best product for our need. They completed a 38 square re-roof in 2 days. They even painted all the protrusions the same color as the tile. Good job!!

I called this group to have my roof inspected after I noticed some issues with animals potentially getting under my roof. During the roof inspection, I was informed that the original roofing was short tiles, was done poorly, and definitely needed some solid work. The inspection from Canyon State Roofing gave me a lot of confidence that I would get a quality replacement.

The team working on my roof was able to get it done while I was out of town minus some finishing work.

The final result fixed multiple issues with gutters that were attracting bird nests, improved ventilation, and really sharpened up the look of the house. There was a little trouble with dripped paint from touch up work that they were glad to come back and fix. I really appreciated that they were happy to fix that without any protest.

Communication was great. They were better than most contractors about cleaning up debris. I'd definitely recommend them to my neighbors. Well worth the money!

I just had my patio roof repaired by Canyon State roofing. They did the job quickly, cleanly and had I not know they were repairing my roof that day, I wouldn’t had know they were there. They did a great job. I received a few bids and although Canyon was not necessarily the lowest bid I received, you get what you pay for. What led me to accept their bid was the professionalism and presentation of the people I worked with prior to the job.
After that, the way the contract was written and presented in a professional company letterhead spoke millions vs others I received . It did mattered to me greatly. It was written clearly, no hidden agendas and the warranty was unsurpassable. Robyn speediness in answering any questions I had, brought peace of mind. I then looked at their perfect BBB score and it was a no brainer to reach a decision. After we agreed on scheduling, the job was completed even ahead of schedule! Miguel was also very professional and came to inspect the job right after to make sure everything went as planned. My whole house roof might need replacing soon and I would definitely consider hiring Canyon State roofing again.

We have used Canyon State roofing multiple times, and have referred them to others a number of times (including my brother and 76-year-old mother-in-law). Everyone has had the same great experience. The owner and staff are very straightforward. They will often give you multiple options to choose from (short or long term solution to a problem). There is no bait and switch. The pros and cons of each option are thoroughly explained, and there are no high pressure sales tactics. Once the crew is onsite, they work diligently and interact with customers in a very polite and helpful manner. They clean up any mess - on a daily basis - they don’t just wait until the end! If you have any issues after a job is done, call them up - they stand by their product and service. I feel very comfortable referring them to my friends and family.

I needed all new underlayment for my 30 year old roof. I got bids from and talked with three different companies. Jim McLain from Canyon State Roofing is the one I chose. Jim is the owner and he came out to talk with me. After talking to 2 other companies it was obvious that Canyon State was the one to go with. Among other reasons Jim is the only one who noticed that only one of my skylights needed replacing because the other one was newer and in good shape. My experience with Canyon State Roofing was great! It was no small task for those guys to be up on the roof in 113+ temps. I made the decision to go ahead with a complete roof replacement. The crew was very methodical, after watching them work for five days and interacting with Mr. Beltran I came to believe that they were doing my roof the way they would do their own.

When replacing a roof you usually find some broken tiles and others get broken in the roofing process. The color of replacements can't be matched exactly to 20 year old tile. I was concerned about the mismatch. Mr. Beltran assured me I needn't worry. He was correct. The new tiles were placed in an inconspicuous area and probably only a roofing professional could tell where they were.

They have been in business for around 25 years, that fact makes me feel good about the 20 year warranty they gave us.

It's only been a couple of months now, but I would definitely do business with Canyon State again. It didn't hurt that their price was the lowest for the same product than the other four companies.

We just had our 23 year old roof replaced by Canyon State Roofing and the did a great job from start to finish. The estimate process was quick and efficient. Our project even got started sooner than expected. The work crew arrived early and worked long hours to get our project completed before Christmas. They were very professional. We had roof replaced and ventilation vents added. The quote was very complete and there was no ambiguity as to what was going to be done. Would utilize them again.

Our home needed a new roof. Canyon State came out, looked at it and gave us a very reasonable quote. We had a narrow tone frame we were working in and not only did they squeeze us in but they got to it earlier than quoted! They did a great job. We're very pleased.

I had several companies come out and explain the roof issues and give estimates. Surprisingly, the other two companies that quoted a higher estimate, never went onto our roof to investigate things. He explained things very well, and within a few days, emailed all the details and the costs that would be involved. He even gives different opportunities to choose from when it comes to supplies. He was very patient especially explaining roofs, materials and the bird-block product. Was very patient while I took some time deciding on the color of the bird-block.

After deciding the path we wanted to take, a full and detailed contract was emailed and a date was given when they would begin, when a dumpster would arrive and when supplies would arrive. His team of men were busy and accomplished much during each day. They were respectful to our property with cleaning up as well. Had a roof leak on the backside of my house. Third one in our 27 year old roof. Had Jim at Canyon State Roofing come out and give me a estimate to reroof the house. They removed the tile, replaced the underlayment, broken tiles and also had them replace the trim board below the bird stop. They did it in a timely manner and kept everything tidy and clean during the process. Would recommend them to others.

We are very satisfied with the roof done by Canyon State Roofing. While it looks the same as the original, it is phenomenally better in terms of drainage and underlayment. Repairs done where the roof rotted due to poor drainage were well-repaired. The crew was very competent, professional, and considerate. We have much more confidence in this roof than the original, and it was done for a very fair price. Jim, the owner, explained everything to us and was available for questions and consultation. All in all, a very positive experience, and just in time for rain in Arizona.
