I have never been so compelled to leave a review for a company in almost 20 years. My friend, ‘David’ (name changed to protect his privacy and safety), needed an urgent inspection for a failed roofing job, and our situation was complicated by a deep concern for his safety as an immigrant in today's climate. Finding a trustworthy contractor felt like an impossible task.

I had my roof replaced a couple of years ago by State 48. The roof install went well and looked good, but I never got around to writing a review.

The roof came with a warranty, and I noticed a potential concern when working on an unrelated project. State 48 came out right away and inspected, and did not find any problems with my concern.

While they were looking at the roof, they noticed that I had a new AC unit installed and was not properly sealed. They came back and sealed the AC unit "under warranty", even though the AC unit was installed well after the roof replacement was complete.

Great service, and a company that goes above and beyond with warranty coverage.

I just had State 48 Roofing out to look at updating my roof for any missing or cracked tiles. Their representative quickly came out - inspected - and recommended replacing approximately 30 tiles. Their recommendation came witn supporting photos. There bid was most fair and the work was quickly done. No surprises or unexpected add-ons. Their production team was really nice to work with.

I just had to share my experience with State 48 Roofing because Juan absolutely knocked it out of the park! From start to finish, he was not only professional but also super friendly and approachable. He took the time to walk me through everything that he found during our roof inspection, answering all my questions without making me feel rushed. I can't begin to say how over the moon happy I am with the service, attention to detail and the outcome of my roof project.

Whenever I have to hire a contractor/handyman/home improvement company, it's always the same outcome...you are promised the moon and they never come close to fulfilling their sales pitch promise. If every experience was as great as this was, I'd do a lot more improvements with no trepidations.

TJ and Brent are a dream! They are friendly, sympathetic, patient, kind and answered all of my text messages with a quick turnaround and promised that everything would be great and it truly was. As for the staff, they were most accommodating to my requests and needs. They were on time each day and the work was stellar. I am beyond thrilled at the final outcome. They did an amazing job on my roof project. I never say about home improvement people as they come to fix one thing and ruin something else in the process. The crew was extremely careful and covered everything perfectly. Everything was smooth and professional from start to finish.

Honest company. Had three roof companies come out all said I needed a new roof. State 48 came out and said you just need new seals around the penetrations. Other than that I can certify this roof for another 5 years.

State 48 Roofing is the best. I used them to maintain my old roof. In September of 2024, I hired them to put a new and beautiful flat tile roof on my home in Las Sendas in Mesa, AZ in September of 2024. They did a phenomenal job and my neighbors kept commenting on how meticulous and professional they were and how wonderful my new roof looked.

On Monday, April 14, 2025, I had a mishap at my home where my pool filter pump while depressurizing for pool guy to clean the filters, exploded and the top of it shot up about 4 stories high in the air, came crashing down and hit my new roof and broke about 5-6 tiles! I called State 48 and David Otzwirk came out to inspect on Thursday morning, April 17, 2025. He called me later that afternoon to give me wonderful news. They were going to repair it free of charge!!! I can't say enough good things about State 48 Roofing!

4 years ago, we had a leak in our roof and had 4 companies come and give estimates. We chose State 48 and were very impressed with their work and professionalism. We had been discussing re-doing our entire 26 year old roof just for peace of mind. Our back patio flat roof has leaked since we bought our house and we needed that to be repaired, as well. Jason came out and gave an estimate, including 3 options to do it in sections over the course of time, since there was no immediate need. They put us on the schedule for about a week out and showed up on time. Those workers busted their tails and really knew what they were doing. They completed the job in one long day! I was duly impressed with the results and you would have never known they were there when they left. They cleaned up all of the materials and scanned the ground with a magnet for any errant nails. The next day, Mike came to pick up the trailer and scanned the yard again. He checked in with me to make sure I was satisfied and needed anything else. Simply a fantastic experience overall. I highly recommend State 48 Roofing.

From the extraordinary customer service and the first call we had with them, to navigating the roof being replaced at the close of escrow, to the final product and service, they were incredible! They were in constant communication about what to expect during every step of the process and ensured all our questions were answered and needs were met. Their crew was also so understanding when it took me a little extra time to shovel my 3 kids out of the house before they started work (which wasn't required). And of course, the roof looks absolutely amazing!! Couldn't have asked for anything better every single step of the way! 11/10 recommend State 48 Roofing!!!

Highly recommend State 48. My roof being 26yo, it was ready for the underlayment to be replaced. I've also been having some issues with the valleys where the original builder had cut some corners. Jason came out, did an inspection and provided sound informed advice on my roof. His team was able to pull all the tiles, replace some of wood in the valleys and overhangs where we saw leaks, replaced all the underlayment (I sprung for the added radiant barrier) all in a day and a half. Granted my roof line is pretty simple, but I was amazed at how fast his team was. Everything looks as good as new. I also have the confidence it is actually better then new.

This is the 2nd time we've used State 48. The fist time was to replace the roofing over our patio. This time was to fix a leaking flat-roof garage, and replace some broken tiles. In both instances, everything was handled professionally and quickly, with
transparency. We were offered various options with pricing. I can highly recommend State 48!!

Was referred to State 48 Roofing by our realtor during our home inspection process. We needed to have some repairs done to the tiles and they knocked it out when they said they were going to and kept me updated throughout the process along with pictures. they arrived early with mask and few for safety. they did an outstanding job all through the process. they did high-quality work, also took picture before and after they finished. they keep open communication to explain exactly what they were doing. very professional and respectful. they also cleaned up very thoroughly. i can't say enough. i would highly recommend them. jason owner with craig gave me a very reasonable quote. thank you craig and the crew for taking care of all my issue.
