If you need to have a work done on your roof this is a great company to hire. They did excellent job on my roof.

They did two roof repair jobs for us and we are very satisfied with their work. We would recommend their services to anyone needing roofing work.

In 2015 we had Canyon State Roofing remove the shingles from our house and install a metal roof. This was a complex and detailed-oriented project and I chose Canyon State because of their expertise in a style of roof that, for example, is very common in Tornado Alley where we once lived but is less often used in Phoenix despite the sometimes severity of our Monsoon storms. The roof has performed above...far above...our expertations!

Fast forward to this January: the flat...non-metal roof on the back portion of our house (which had been installed by another company in 2008) was beginning to worry us as it seemed like it was approaching the end of its lifespan. So, I contacted Canyon State and to my pleasant surprise was told that a complete redo was not needed but that instead recoating and repairing the seems and edges was all that was needed. And...that making these improvements now would hold us for many years to come.

The crew always arrived on time and on schedule. They were absolutely fastidious about cleaning up each day and keeping us up to steam on the progress of the project. When the project was completed they provided photos of their work for our records.

I had a fantastic experience working with Miguel and his team at Canyon State Roofing (CSR). I had received a handful of quotes from other companies before I reached out to CSR and the customer service difference was why I decided to go with CSR.

I reached out to CSR on a Saturday and had a roofing inspection with Miguel that same week. He was extremely thorough in his inspection. Upon completion he sat down with me and walked me through everything that needed to be done to update my roof and took pictures to show me what he was seeing.

I recieved a quote within 2 days for the job and Miguel gave me a call to walk through the quote. I particularly liked how the quote was itemized and included everything that CSR was going to be doing to my roof with step by step descriptions. Other quotes I had received did not go into this much detail and it gave me a lot of confidence to start the job.

CSR was able to schedule me within 2 weeks of approving the quote, and they were very up front about the job schedule and plan. I really appreciated that they do a pre job meeting to go over everything one more time.

My roof took 5 days to complete, and at 35 years old, it was in pretty rough shape. Miguel regularly sent me picture updates of the job progress at significant stages. His team worked extremely hard, and I was really impressed with the quality of their work.

The final product is really impressive and it is such a relief to have the roof updated as it was getting to be a significant concern based on its age.

My entire experience with Canyon State Roofing was 5 stars from my initial phone call, through every step along the way to a repaired 26 year old roof!! Miguel, the superintendent , for Canyon State, explained everything that was going on with my roof. Miguel answered all my questions in a way that I could understand. He also took before and after photos and pointed out clearly what needed to be done, and once the job was completed, showed me the photos of the completed work. Crew was great! Work looks fantastic!! Canyon State perform the re-roof of my house. Miguel was the manager of the project and was very patient, informative and available through the process. Once the date was set, there was no delay and or misunderstanding of the process. The materials showed up early, and the crew was ready to get to work also. The dumpster (Bin there Dumped that) was delivered and also professional and courteous. The project took approximately 2 1/2 days with some minor adjustments after. The crew made sure to clear the debris around the yard for nails and materials every day. Even the dumpster pick up was awesome, the person swept my driveway after loading the bin. There are a lot of roofers out there that promise the world, do your research and you’ll find Canyon State is right up there with the others and they provide a great warranty.

I contracted Canyon State Roofing in November to replace the roof on my house. I chose them because of the detailed quote I received and the competitive price for the work. Jim answered all my questions about the materials used and the timeline for completing the work. He also gave me separate quotes for lower and higher priced options.
The quality of the work was outstanding. Migel's crew arrived promptly and worked diligently through the day. At the end of each day, the crew cleaned up around the perimeter of the house and Migel would contact me to confirm that everything was on schedule. When there was an issue with matching the original tiles, Migel offered me sensible options that did not impact the cost of the project.

I recently had my underlayment and battens replaced by Canyon State Roofing. Jim, Miguel and the crew did a good job with the installation. Miguel communicated well with me and showed various pictures of the install's stages including areas that needed some extra attention such as "dead valleys." They replaced some of the fascia board and did a great job matching the old tiles with newer tiles because the tile company no longer made the tile on my roof. They were on time and up-front about the costs. I would recommend them for replacing the underlayment and roof repairs.

Canyon State Roofing did a great job replacing my tile roof. I liked how the supervisor kept me up to date on the progress. Also, Canyon State paid attention to details, like using the upgraded birdstop, putting up a sample of the birdstop to make sure I liked the color and cleaning up their work area at the end of every shift. So how did it go? Well, they got us on the schedule promptly; Miguel did an excellent job keeping us informed on progress and works; the crew worked every day (except Sunday) - beginning each day at the same prompt time; the crew cleaned-up daily before leaving the site; we even had a rain event during the install and while Miguel assured us they prepared for that, he still came out to inspect the site that evening. The roof and workmanship by the Crew looks great.

Hello , my name is David R. and I’m not generally one of those people who writes reviews however, I believe this is one circumstance where I feel it’s deserved.
I had Jim from Canyon State Roofing over to do my estimate on my roof repair. Jim was very thorough with the process of determining the extent of the damage and repair, needed. Jim climbed up on the roof and removed several roof tiles in multiple areas to examine the underlayment. With that being said, it allowed him to come up with itemized materials list related to the repair which reflected in the bid once I received it via email. There were no surprises!
I will say I did my due diligence and had other contractors come out to give me a bid as well. However, Jim’s bid was slightly better than the rest but that’s not what secured Canyon State Roofing for being the contractor for me. His honesty and integrity showed during his visit, and I felt comfortable with what I was paying for. Also they did more than what the other contractors were offering. For example, they lifted all the tiles that were in valleys, in those areas that could accumulate debris and create dams which can redirect the water allowing it flow and get into the underlayment and cause water damage. They went and cleaned all those areas out, along with replacing any cracked or chipped tiles. I would DEFINITELY recommend Canyon State Roofing if you’re looking to either have a complete roof replacement or just a repair

Canyon State Roofing is a great company to choose. We had a leak that was starting to come into our home and after they repaired the area with the leak we had two rainstorms since and no signs of leakage at all. These guys are professional, they get back with you right away, and the quality of work was legit. Not to mention the workers were very friendly. Robyn was excellent in coordinating scheduling and follow up. Miguel was excellent as the crew manager. The crew began early on a Monday and was finished by the following Saturday. They cleaned up the site every day. The temperature was between 115-119 degrees that week. How it was done so timely, I do not know! Please call them if and when you need a new roof or repairs. An excellent company -- they provided a fair estimate of our roof replacement. The estimate included a start date and the number of days to complete the job. They contacted us a few days before the scheduled start and said they would be starting earlier. Which was great, since our roof was sketchy and we were worried about rain. Once they started, they were clean and courteous -- they left the property in neat and picked up at the end of each day. They completed the job in less time than the estimate. I reached out to Canyon State after having a couple of other roofers diagnose an intermittent leak I was having. Miguel responded quickly and after a few moments on the roof and in my attic found the source of the leak. He recommended a partial Remove and Replace of about 25% of my 20 year tile old roof. He also told me that the rest was ok and I have another 5-8 years of life on the rest of the roof. The work was scheduled and Miguel and team quickly knocked out the job in about 6 hours, replaced some cracked tiles on the remaining roof and sealed/painted all the roof vents, etc. and coated our patio cover.

Well from start to finish it was a pleasure to work with Jim and his company! From first meeting I knew he was the one for the job. Got that gut feeling he would do everything he said. Contract was complete nothing hidden explained well and I signed up for my roof replacement. I have ocd so I explained that I needed clean! Miguel was a treat! He showed up ahead of crew and we went over everything and next day crew showed up as scheduled and started. Miguel again did follow ups via phone text and in person! Jim needs to make sure that he keeps Miguel was very satisfied! The crew was great hard working in rain a few times but always cleaned up daily so I could continue to live my life and my family could enjoy outdoors. We scheduled with Canyon State based on the knowledge and integrity displayed by Miguel during his evaluation of our roof prior to quoting the Removal and Replacement project.
He walked the roof examining the condition and found that a number of tile had slid out of place allowing water to get under the tiles and thus migrate into the ceiling/wall of our garage. No other quoting contractors noticed this issue.
The best part was when He voluntarily repositioned the tile temporarily fixing the problem and affording us some flexibility in scheduling.
Miguel and his crew were experienced and professional, cleaning up daily and providing timely progress and scheduling updates as needed.
The job included some minor modifications to the flashing system to help improve the directing of rain water and a transferable Manufactures and Contractors warranty.
