I would never recommend this company to install a fence. Lowe's hired them recently to install a white vinyl fence for me and within months, a few posts have already been damaged. Another local fencing company assessed the damage and said the fence posts were not properly installed. They clearly are quick, cheap labor and are extremely difficult to communicate with as well. Their lack of accountability is very disappointing but I'm sure they are used to it.

Wish I could Give less than one star they are absolutely awful. We had a complaint about the installation and overall poor craftsmanship. After almost 6 months they finally reached back out to say “ we are not coming to to look at your issues/complaints, the fence was installed correctly.” For $5K I guess I assume they will take pride in their work and complete finishing touches that are industry standard but they do not. They measured the gate wrong to our driveway and GOOD LUCK pulling in or out if you have anything else than a mid size car because you LITERALLY CANT. Also, they made every cut for the top of the fence ( dog ear pattern) by hand and nothing is even , all edges are ragged and unfinished looking . We have reached out to them multiple times and had Lowes reach out to them multiple times and they either do not respond or say “ it’s installed correctly.” If I hadn’t of already paid I’d refuse to pay until it’s fixed. But they got payed so I guess they’re done. I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THEM- I’d rather let my 5 year old install a fence, he would do a better job. If you want to decrease the value of your home and have a huge eye sore that you’ve paid thousands for then this is the company for you. In all of my life I’ve never had such a bad experience. These guys are awful. Go anywhere else- literally anywhere.

How these guys have any bad reviews baffles me.

Where do i begin. Oscar the owner was very wonderful to work with. Gave me ideas i didnt think about and did everything my wife and i wanted.

We had them install new siding, a new roof, and build a covered deck and a covered porch. They worked non stop to get the work complete. They were there every morning 8 sharp and even worked on saturdays to get it done.

The pictures speak for them selves.

Hire these guys and you will be more than happy. The best thing i can say is they quoted me way cheaper than anyone else. And i mean way cheaper.

We just had a 6 foot wooden privacy fence with two gates installed by Brothers Contractors LLC and we could not be happier with the outcome. The were efficient, professional, and thorough during the entire build. They are true craftsmen and I would and recommend them to anyone who is in need of the work they do.

I purchased a new fence through Lowe's and the installation was arranged with Brothers Contractors LLC out of Roanoke. Penny texted to let me know she would be the point of contact and to let her know when Lowe's delivered the materials. I was notified by Lowe's of the date for delivery. I let Penny know and learned that she'd arranged for the required 811 utility line marking. once that was completed she confirmed the installation date. The crew (3 workers) arrived as scheduled and within a half-hour had my old fence removed. New posts were set and the new fence was wrapped by the end of the day. The crew returned early the next morning to hang gates and put the finishing touches on our new fence. I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase and installation. I was so impressed with the work done by Brothers Contractors LLC that I'm planning to contact them next year for new siding. I highly recommend them.

Went through Lowes to have a new fence installed and they sent out Brothers Contractors. When they arrived, these guys were prepared to work! Had a crew of about 5 people who didn't mess around! They came one day and set the post. Then came next morning and didn't leave until the project was complete. They did an outstanding job and certainly cared about their work. They did all this while my family and I was on vacation to NYC. I didn't know what to expect when I returned home, but everything turned out great! Would highly recommend these guys for someone's project.

12/13/2022 - Ordered and paid for siding and awning removal and haul away. Total was $12,271.50 and was told delivery and install install could be 30-60 days.

2/2/2023 - Contacted by Lowe’s that siding delivery will not be today due to not having items. 15 minutes later was contacted by Lowe’s delivery that they were in route with siding delivery. I contacted the contractor (Brothers Contractors LLC) that was to install the siding and made them aware. Contractor stated that due to being out of Virginia they would rather wait to make sure all the items were delivered on site to prevent them from wasting a trip.

2/13/23 - I contacted Ruby with Lowe’s or South Charleston to check on the status of soffit and aluminum starter strips. She advised me that they are not in stock and unaware of when they will be delivered. I advised her that the East Charleston (Kanawha City) and Nitro locations both have in excess of 80 pieces each. I asked if she would have those locations deliver them and was advised she would need to put in a order. Doing that would take 2-3 business days.

2/20/23 - The remaining order was delivered and I contacted the Lowe’s contractor to advise him. I was then told by Brandon (contractor) that Lowe’s let some insurance paperwork lapse and they would not be allowed on site until the paperwork was approved.

2/24/23 - I contacted Brandon (contractor) for an update and was informed that the contractor doing my install is not licensed in West Virginia and doesn’t feel comfortable doing the work. I was then told that the installer would have to take an exam to obtain his West Virginia Contractor License. I was given a start date of 3/13/2023.

3/6/2023 - I was contacted by Lowe’s and informed that the contractor scheduled to do the work no longer works for Lowe’s and they can’t find a contractor to do the work.

3/7/2023 - I contacted Brandon (contractor) for a follow up and didn’t get a response until the next day

3/8/2023 - Brandon (contractor) contacted via text and said “He is taking his test today, so we should still be okay for the 13th”

3/13/2023 - I contacted Brandon (contractor) at 8:14am via text and said, “Good morning Brandon. Everything still on for today?” Brandon responded at 8:17am with “Unfortunately I don’t think it is however I’m going to find out more today. I’ll call you here in a bit.” At 5:00pm I texted “Any updates” and didn’t get a response.

3/14/2023 - Was informed that Brothers Contracting LLC was no longer with the company due to numerous no shows.

While initially there were some issues connecting they were resolved. Which makes the rating 4.5 stars.
Had a fence contracted through Lowes.
They arrived for the job when I was told they would be there and did a great job.
3 men installed 280 feet of 6" wooden fence in 2 days, and removed the old fence. They were very pleasant and easy to deal with. They did the job very well, quickly and with high quality.
The cleanup was professional and beyond what I expected.
I will use them again should the need arise.

Lowe's assigned this company to install a fence for me. They are horrible. They showed up unannounced 7 days after they were scheduled. They said they could not complete the job because I did not have the correct posts and yet did not inform me as to how I should obtain. They left huge pile of trash on my drive way. They left holes in my side yard. The section of fence that they did complete has to be torn down and rebuilt because it is so crooked. When I notified them of the issues, the owner, Oscar, apologized, stating he was out of town and his brother made the mistakes. I agreed to meet with him 9 am 7/18/2022. He didn't show up for our meeting. He came at 9:58 after I was back at work. As of 7/20/2022, nothing has been resolved.

Went through Lowe's to have a fence installed around our very uneven and sloped yard. They were incredibly nice, professional, punctual, accommodating, and wasted no time!

We were originally given a timeline by Lowe's of 6 weeks before start of the project, but surprisingly Brothers Contractors started and finished within a week of us getting the quote from Lowe's. They were awesome and I recommend them!

Went through Lowes to have a fence installed, Brothers were the contractors. They never once called me back to schedule an installation time. They called lowes installation finally to set up a time almost a month after my supplies were delivered. The day of the installation they never showed up, called 18 times, never answered. Had lowes installation reach out 5 times, never answered. Lowes said they were pulling their contract with them because of so many complaints exactly like this. If you want a job done, definitely do NOT CALL THEM

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
