Solid job of removing layers of old shingles, replacing warped plywood and getting new roof down. Team worked a 12-hour day to beat an incoming storm to protect against water damage, came back and did the finishing touches 2 days later.

An outstanding company that has an excellent focus on customer service. Had a leak coming in from my roof that was leaking throughout the whole house. There was numerous hiccups/surprises throughout the project (entire roof replacement) but they dealt with them gracefully. They consistently went above and beyond. The cost/quote was also fair and not crazy like some other ones I had received.

Only time will tell how well of a job they did but it looks absolutely fantastic from what I can tell and I am optimistic!

I can’t say enough positive things about Brax and their teams. I’ve used them now for replacing the roof, re-siding the house, including replacing all the gutters and installing gutter guards. From Boris - who assessed what we needed and patiently explained exactly what they would do, to Jacob - who worked with us to get the exact color scheme we wanted, to Daniel and Alexis - who set up the appointments, kept us updated and sent the contracts and photos. Each team took photos of each step of their progress - so you can be sure that things such as weatherproofing materials were all used appropriately. You don’t to stay on top of anything - I would trust them to do any work even while I was out of town - because I know they will do it all correctly and it’s even documented! I had a great experience with BRAX Roofing. My rake and cladding were damaged due to the recent wind storm. Chris came out a day after I called BRAX to give me an estimate. His estimate was very reasonable, as I also received two other estimates that were not. They came the following week, arrived on time, and did a great job!

BRAX was just fantastic with our roof. Called them, they came out the next day and told us what they would do, came out the following day and did the work - in 3 hours. We recently needed to have our flat roof replaced in DC. I happened to see BRAX Roofing a few months earlier in our neighborhood working on another home. I contacted BRAX and they provided a thorough evaluation and estimate to replace my roof. I also obtained two additional estimates from other roofing companies and BRAX was by far the best price. BRAX was very thorough and professional. On the scheduled day to have the roof replaced, BRAX showed up exactly at 730AM and worked all day. They were able to complete the entire replacement in one day! They provided photos of the entire project from start to finish. Very professional. Emilio came out to do the estimate and explained things clearly. Also Alexis was great at communicating with me in regard to any rescheduling (had to reschedule twice due to weather). Would use Brax again for roofing needs.

An unusual review because they haven’t done work for me, but they gave me an honest (free) estimate.

I’d noticed traces of a small leak on an upstairs ceiling. My regular roofing guys were unresponsive, so I arranged for a couple estimates. One guy came yesterday, looked at area of leak inside house, looked at outside of house, did not get on roof. Declined my invitation to climb into attic to look for evidence of leak. Estimated repairs $2.5-3.5K, is going to write it up.

Brax people arrived this morning. Looked at leak area in house. Went up on roof, asked to climb into attic. Took measurements, pics. Said they think leak from pipes to upstairs AC, no problems with old slate. Very polite, professional, well-spoken. Declined fee for their diagnosis.

Will have AC company deal with leak.

Next time I need roof work done will call Brax.

Honest roofers! And I thought I’d seen everything!

Absolutely great company. They did an excellent job of replacing my roof and installing new gutters and downspouts. It was a complicated job with many moving pieces and they handled the details very well. The owner, Boris, contacted me personally to make sure all was going well.

A great crew. Excellent quality of roofing materials & service performance. Especially impressed with BRAX warranties. BRAX installed our roof on the ceiling of a porch with a metal staircase and very slight foot traffic. Eight years later, we spotted a small leak and called BRAX for service on the warranty. They responded the next morning & scheduled an inspection for the very next day. They showed up promptly, made a small necessary caulking repair around the base of the metal staircase. Problem solved in under 48 hours from the time I called.

Fantastic customer service. I felt well informed throughout the process. It’s worth noting that the crew left my house and yard completely clean each night. They left the job site better than they found it. I don’t expect to need roofers for a very long time, but I would hire them again in a minute.

From Managing Partner Boris Cardenas' first meeting with us at which he did a thorough inspection of our roof through the completion of the recommended repair work, Brax Roofing has exceeded my expectations. The office staff is polite and responsive. The roof workers are highly skilled, and they are also polite and responsive. All our questions were answered, and the work, documented by multiple photographs, looks perfect to us. Attaching images of work on chimney to bring it up to code and prevent leaks as well as some nail pop and damaged shingle remediation. Highly recommended.

This was as good an experience you could have with a roofing company. BRAX was completely professional and thorough from the beginning, presenting all of the job details, what could be expected and licensing paperwork. I have been putting off getting a new roof because I didn’t know what to expect, and frankly was intimidated by this daunting purchase. I started asking around and a neighbor recommended BRAX, stating they did a great job. They did not disappoint. The first step was a thoroughly considered estimate completed by Marvin. He took his time and answered all my questions, took pictures up on the roof to show me close-ups of the areas of specific wear and concern, and sent a estimate and an online selection of shingles to chose from. He stayed in contact for any follow-up questions. Dan was also available by phone and helped me navigate any questions once the work was started. The roofing team arrived as scheduled and completed the work without a hitch. Clean-up was amazing which I greatly appreciated, and is apparently not always the case as I have been informed by others who have had roof work completed. If I need siding or gutters in the future, BRAX will be the first call I make! Thanks BRAX.

These guys are the real deal, offering a free inspection with no up-selling. Turns out, I didn't have any issues with my roof, but if and when I do, I'll be calling them for sure.

Brax. Roofing, Inc. is the BEST! They came and first carefully estimated the roof repl. project. Then came back and in two days they did a perfect job of replacing our old roof (It was 20 years old, cedar shingle, with no rain gutters ) with an asphalt shingle roof. The choice of a varying style/shade of shingle was excellent. It kept the English cottage look. The seams and the new gutters they installed look excellent. They cleaned up the site perfectly and put in new metal shields, seams, and exhausts where needed. I recommend them highly.

The BRAX team was fantastic to work with. The person doing our site visit was very thorough in both determining the work needed and what our non-profit could afford. The scheduler was very flexible with meeting our needs and communicated very effectively throughout the execution phase of the project. Brax did a double-job on my house. In particular their rep Chris Sousa was stellar. My realtor was is also a longtime friend of mine recommended them and everyone he knows always seems to be top.

First there was the roof. Absolutely nailed that. All the rotten boards and trims as well. Not just materially good but one of the best sales professionals I've ever worked with. No pressure, honest and really knows what they are doing. Lots of options, and definitely some of the better prices and value in the area. Some places that came out or did quotes were absolute clown shows. Not Brax. As a matter of fact, Chris did a free estimate on my old roof before I even bought the house. This helped me at settlement big time and he was right on the dime about how long the roof would last. Less than 2 years later the old roof leaked and they replaced the roof with DaVinci because our HOA requires cedar. It is beautiful. Crew was fast, and very clean considering the scale of this endeavor. They had one specialist who runs the trucks and would come by just to collect the scrap and leftover new material. He name was Alexis and I enjoyed talking with he and he stayed and happily translated a lot of Spanish for me with the workers about little things.

I was so impressed I had them do all of the siding. Again, more options and excellent setup. Job was even harder than the roof. This is a BIG house and the crew strained hard in the heat but they did a magnificent job and fixed a lot of issues along the way without nickeling and diming everything. Their foreman was superb even as he struggled to keep the numerous talents they needed staffed each day. They did the windows too and fixed anything that I asked for corrections to. I am very precise when I do my own fixes and they had no problem with it. All new gutters and they are flawless.

It's like a whole new house and it has been rained on for a few months. I've had no problems. Neighbors comment all the time about how amazing it looks now. I would totally recommend Brax to them and I have many times. I'm so glad this won't need to be re-done for many, many years. It was one heck of a lump of money and house. The biggest project I have ever done.

The crew tackled a difficult clean out of old insulation and installed 8 new 4” soffit vents to add better airflow. The old pink insulation went out and replaced with new rock wool. This was their first project with AtticFoil and managed to overcome some initial issues with installation. It all worked out in the end and the attic is now 20-25 degrees cooler this summer than before, with a lot less dust in the house. Mission accomplished.

Brax Roofing replaced our roof in 2022.
We took a while to complete the survey for them and were reminded several times by text message to do so and we ended up doing it.
Later, I noticed that during heavy rains the gutter poured down torrents of water onto my planter, which destroyed the plants. Obviously, pieces of shingles have blocked the drain.
The salesperson never responded to my calls and texts. I sent an email to Daniel who did not respond and the operator assured me that my request would be processed.
July 2024 and Braxx Roofing continues to be deaf.
However, it would be enough to go up on the roof and clear the pieces that are obstructing the rainwater drainage for me to be completely satisfied with their performance.

I give Brax roofing 5 Stars from the initial inspection from Marvin Cardenas to their abilities to troubleshoot , quality work , and cleanup. I recommend Brax roofing and their professional services .

My 120 year old District historic row home without insulation needed a major rehab. Brax took over the project following difficulties with another, more expensive, contractor. They expertly coordinated permit approval with the historic preservation office, repaired termite damaged studs, added insulation, James Hardie siding on two sides, and historically compatible wood on the front facade. The house emerged stronger, efficient, more graceful, and ready for her next chapter. The construction crew worked efficiently, and I haven't found a stray nail yet. Boris checked in regularly throughout. Brax truly impressed at a fair price. I highly recommend.

I had a slow leak in my roof. They came by to look at it and the short of it is that they were extremely slow to respond even after I called to ask for an update. I mean months later I heard from them…at which point I had already went with another company to replace my entire roof. I will say they are friendly and professional on the phone and in person. If they are overbooked and can’t get to me, I understand. But I wish they would have just told me that in the first place so I didn’t waste my time with calls and appointments and an ongoing leak in my roof.

I had my siding replaced by Brax Roofing this summer. I highly recommend this company. They sent someone out quickly for a free estimate, they worked with my homeowners insurance to get everything approved. I’m really happy with the end result and they worked with me on some hiccups along the way. Their customer service is really exceptional, everyone I dealt with at all times was fair and extremely polite.

Among many roofers I contacted, Brax ended up the one offering the most sensible solution for my leaky porch covering, and it is not a costly solution. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Previously I had sun tunnels installed and was very impressed. I trusted BRAX Roofing so much that I had my roof replaced when I was out of town. They called me at every step and sent photos to provide evidence of the work and issues. They took care to clean up and blow out my parking so there are no nails in my spot. They gave me an exceptional price.
