The company appears to do amazing work and has great experience. I was seeking a contractor for a 203k home remodeling project, which they list on their website as one of their specialties. I already had an approved consultant who completed the scope of work on a contractor’s bid form. However, the company wanted $300 just to submit a bid, citing additional paperwork requirements because they don’t frequently handle 203k projects.

I’m unfamiliar with any paperwork needed to submit a bid beyond completing the bid form, which was readily available and had already been completed by my consultant.

I’m disappointed in this business practice. Customer service was amazing and I would have loved to consider them for this project.

Underpinning our basement was a nerve-racking process and we had to find the experts to do it. Go Pro did an Excellent job underpinning our residence while we are leaving in it and the process took roughly 8 months. Their insurance covered both our property and the neighbor’s property. Highly recommended for any foundation and excavation work.

We have been wanting to finish our basement for the past 20 years. Now the kids are grown and it’s only me and the wife at the house. We contacted GPC construction, and they had a crew available to start framing right away, so we hired them for the project. Now 6 months later, we have a fully functional basement with a separate bathroom and kitchen. Bravo!

We had our Kitchen fully remodeled. The GPC team removed the existing bulkhead and the short ugly cabinets that didn’t reach the ceiling. The flooring, countertops and appliances were also removed. They installed new cabinets, flooring, recessed lights and countertops. They also completed the painting and prepared for the appliance’s installation. Overall, I give these guys 10 out of 10. I plan to use them again for our basement remodel.

Underpinning and Basement Excavation project. Go Pro fully underpinned our basement and created a separate entrance at the rear of the property. They also installed a waterproofing system and bathroom rough-in. They did an excellent job, and completed all the work while we were still living in the house. We are now moving forward to finishing the basement ourselves, which is a much easier task to complete now that the basement is fully concreted.

Our recent sunroom remodel has left us amazed with the transformation it has brought to our family. Our old home in Silver Spring MD needed some updates! I used GPC Construction to add a small laundry room addition to my house. This was my first time doing any type of construction to my house, and they made the process very easy. I received updates on a daily basis of the progress that was made and received the plans for the next weeks in advanced. The laundry room turned out perfect and has made my home complete. At first, we didn’t know where to start. We wanted to dig out our basement and finish it into a fully functional apartment. We found GPC Construction on Google, and they had great reviews, so we contacted them for a quote. The project overall took 1-year to complete, however we understand the complicity of the project. We dug out a new basement underneath our existing rowhouse in Washington DC. We were amazed that they were able to do it while we were still living in the house, and we didn’t have to move out. GPC created a new basement out of our 2 feet crawl space and turned it into a fully functioning basement apartment with new bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and living area.

Paul was very on top of it.They provided us with a will written and detailed estimated that included everything needed for the project. We did have a couple of change orders,but it was for additional work that we requested. Definitely A+.

We sat down with Anthony Johnson their in-house designer and he was able to show us a few different options and layouts and narrowed down our choices, until we settled on the best and final design. I was pleasantly surprised by the entire process and my fears slowly started to disappear. month later and we love our new kitchen and design/layout. Sam did his 3 month post kitchen remodel inspection and insured us that everything is working as it should. We loved that!

Sam did a kitchen remodel for us last year, and we have been using it daily since then and we love it. GoPro was transparent and flexible throughout their estimating and quoting process. Sameh was especially responsive and helpful during the remodeling. When I added something halfway through the work, they added it for a fair price. As with any contractor, you should do regular inspections; they were amenable and professional about addressing everything on my please-fix lists.

GoPro did a highly professional job on my basement underpinning, stabilizing a 124 year old foundation and creating extra living space. The nice features they included were an insulated floating slab that is heated via water pipes and a sub-floor French drain and sump-pump to keep the area dry. I am impressed with their work and recommend them highly.

Go pro construction did very good job of completing one room in the basement and washer and dryer move. Paulie, the project manager was very responsive to my call and questions. Although. Bit slow initially Paulie accelerated the work and finished before requested date. All the trash was cleaned properly. Very competitive on the price and would recommend them for home repair and remodeling.

Go Pro installed a pull-down attic stair at my house. The work was completed on-time and on-budget and they were great to work with. End result looks great.

GoPro Construction did a great job with our bathroom remodel project. They were professional and on time with the project. There was an accident that occurred with one of the pipes that caused some water damage to our kitchen and basement, but GoPro took care of those repairs while they were completing the bathroom. We are very pleased with the results.

We had new shower/bath fixtures, faucet, vanity light, and ceiling light installed. They removed the old light fixtures, painted where necessary, and installed the new ones perfectly. The shower/bath fixtures and support bar were more involved. They installed everything perfectly again. We are extremely pleased with their work. I would not hesitate to use them again for any household project.

Hiring GoPro construction was the biggest mistake we made when beginning our addition. We hired GoPro to do the foundation and framing work in July (in hindsight we should have just hired them for the foundation and learned). They began work at the beginning of August 2019. From the start, there were issues. They would make mistakes due to not reading the plans correctly, say they were going to do things and not show up, have their cars/cement trucks, etc ‘break down’. Our project manager would lie to us about where the crew was or if we weren’t home (we were away on a family vacation one week), they just wouldn’t show up and do the work they said would be done by the time we got home. This resulted in us coming home to a mound of dirt in our backyard and a huge hole where our neighbors’ children could potentially fall into. The cement truck ‘broke down’ maybe three times before they actually were able to pour the foundation and because there were so many errors in the digging, they couldn’t do one full pour. Resulting in a huge loss of time. The framing was even worse. A project that was supposed to take three weeks ended up taking three months because of the errors they made in reading the plans. It was so bad that they actually took away inches from our entire project, didn’t put the door and windows in the right place and built a flat roof even though it was supposed to be sloped. What was worse is that they would take weeks to come out to fix their mistakes. At one point, we had our windows and door installed only to find out that the door wouldn’t fit because the framing wasn’t square. It was a disaster. When we finally got them to agree to come out and fix it, it took them three weeks to finally not be ‘sick’ or have ‘their car break down’ or simply not show. One of those weeks, we had our windows uninstalled (at their request) so they could finish and they just didn’t come and lied about it while it was 30 degrees out and we had an infant at home. Honestly, I can’t say it was just the workers because the project manager may be even worse with his constant lies and lack of management of the project. This entire experience was so terrible and not once did the president of the company (who was frequently out of the country) apologize or manage the project himself. The one positive is that after four months, their part of the project, that at its slowest should have taken two, is now done. I wouldn’t recommend GoPro or its workers to anyone who wants their project done correctly or on time.

Go Pro Construction did a complete renovation of our kitchen. New tiles, wood cabinets, backsplash and appliances. The new kitchen design made it look modern and very spacious. The manager Sameh is very talented and directs his team to accomplish the tasks and overcome any obstacles that arise. The team of workers are very friendly and hard working. They make sure the kitchen area is well isolated to minimize dust and dirt contamination going to other areas in the house. We are very happy with our new kitchen and highly recommend Go Pro Construction. Thank you!

GoPro did a patio for our DC row house. The whole backyard was converted to patio and the end result is amazing! They were a pleasure to work with from initial estimate, through numerous rounds of changes and to final plan. Their communication has been great, the price was very reasonable for DC, and all of the workers were very nice and considerate. We highly recommend them for even relatively small projects like ours. GoPro is great.

My husband and I decided to renovate one of our bathrooms. Except for re-routing the plumbing, we did all the work ourselves. We demolished the bathroom down to the studs, so this was pretty much a re-build. I wanted to find a supplier where we could get a good-quality bathtub, vanity/mirror, tiles for floor, walls and shower alcove, mortar and grout, sliding bathtub/shower door, sink and bathtub/shower fixtures, glass shelves, medicine cabinet, and other supplies. Go Pro in Gaithersburg provided us with top-notch quality supplies, as well as experienced and knowledgeable counseling on the project from Rita Rosenblum. The project would not have turned out as well as it did without her wise and tactful advice. Rita was knowledgeable about the materials, various construction methods, and basic design concepts which helped a great deal. Designing a great-looking bathroom is not as obvious as it might seem, there is a real skill to it and Rita guided us along from start to finish. It was reassuring and fun to stay in touch throughout the entire project. Since my husband and I both work, it took 9 months of weekends to complete. But what a fantastic result. I was especially pleased with the beautiful iridescent Italian mosaic accent tile we used and the white glass subway tile. Remember that if you want above-average quality you will have to pay for it. The thing that really sticks out about Go Pro in addition to selling top-quality building supplies, is that Rita was there with us all the way, making helpful suggestions, guiding us and showing genuine interest all the long way through the project. You simply will not find that at the other well-known home improvement stores, although I certainly have nothing against them. If you want knowledgeable, true personalized service-very rare these days-and I am of an age that remembers real personalized service-Go Pro is the place.

I would like to thank Rita Rose and the team at GO PRO CONSTRUCTION for making our DIY Kitchen Cabinet and Countertop Renovation a complete success. We walked into GO PRO CONSTRUCTION with our kitchen concepts and design already. Rita supplied us with a brochure of the cabinet’s that we requested. The brochure provided all of dimensions, options and descriptions that were necessary to compile a list of cabinets that I wanted to order. GO PRO CONSTRUCTION provided a fair quote for the cabinets that beat out 2 other estimates from competitors. The quality of the cabinets were higher quality than our other estimates as well. We paid the extra fee to assemble the cabinets and deliver directly to our home. The fees for assembly and delivery was a reasonable and fairly priced for the amount of head ache that it saved us. The Cabinets were delivered to my home within 2-3 weeks after order was complete.
After our Cabinets were installed and in place, GO PRO CONSTRUCTION sent their Counter top fabricator to measure the area for our countertops. The fabricator was very prompt and knowledgeable, he was also very helpful in making suggestions and tips because it was a DIY project. He also met me at the warehouse to pick out the actual Granite slab and took over the process from that point. The turnaround time for the countertop was 1 week after selecting the slab. The installers installed the countertops and sink within 2 hours and were very precise and professional. After the countertops and sink was installed, GO PRO CONSTRUCTION sent another team of Plumbers to finish all of the plumbing requirements including Garbage disposal, sink drains. The plumbers did an outstanding job as well, due to all of the adjustments that were needed to match the new sink configuration.
I would also like to mention that we had a strict deadline on this project due to a scheduled Graduation party for our High School Senior. We finished way ahead of schedule due to the quick turnaround time from GO PRO CONSTRUCTION.
Overall we are very pleased with GO PRO CONSTRUCTION and have referred friends and family to use them for future renovations.

Also, if you are not a DIY’er they have a team of Designers and Installers that will take care of all of your needs in a precise and professional manner.

She does not miss a beat! I felt like all my questions were answered quickly and my indecisiveness on picking materials was tolerated in the nicest way. We went through a kitchen renovation with a toddler in the house which is no easy task. But Go Pro made it as painless as possible, understanding our circumstances and really working with us to meet our needs. They even sent workers on a weekend to help finish the work as soon as possible. The best part was the end result; I'm in love with what they were able to do and now my kitchen is the best room in the house. There is no question of whether we would use GoPro again, it is only a question of when!
