We had a very good experience with Sung and his team at Dream Exterior. We needed to replace a sliding patio door and a door for an exterior storage room. At the initial consultation, Sung listened to our needs, heard our concerns and gave us options that worked for us.
Once the doors had been received by Dream Exterior, the team was very clear and timely in their communication regarding the installation.
When the team came to install the doors, they were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and conscientious. Unfortunately, the date of installation was after a major snowfall and the melting would affect the caulking for one of the doors. It wouldn't drain properly for the storage door. They were able to finish the install for both doors and Sung came out a few weeks later to finish caulking the exterior storage door. We are very happy with our two new doors.

The quality of the work was great. Other contractors politely refused the job due to an unusual architectural issue, Mr Sung accepted the job and came through on short notice. We recently upgraded from an old sliding door to a French door. The communication throughout the process was outstanding. I contacted Dream Exterior in regard to rotted wood trim around my house, mainly rake boards at the roof. Sung responded very promptly, came to my house, helped to identify other potential problems and offered the most economical solution. The overall work included fixing the rotted pieces, capping of all wood trim and covering the soffits. The repair team did an excellent and accurate job around the house, it took them more than 3 days of hard work. It appears that the neighbors were also impressed with the quality of the job. For my future repairs, I am certainly going to contact Dream Exterior.

I recommend this contractor. My home had peeling paint on the exterior and old gutters. I hired Sung at Dream Exterior to wrap the places where paint was peeling (so I don't have to paint anymore), install soffit, and install new gutters. The work was beautifully done. The workers showed up on time and were very attentive and nice. They forgot to wrap and install soffit on the underside of the bay window, but when I pointed this out they came immediately and completed that work. One unfortunate thing that happened is that it rained after they had taken off my old gutters but before they had installed the new gutters. I got water in my basement. If I could do it over, I would insist that the work be completed during a time period when it wasn't supposed to rain. But I did not deduct a star for this because I feel that I should have spoken up, since I knew that my basement has a tendency to get water. Overall, they did a great job and I would hire them again!

From start to finish an excellent experience Sung and his whole Team are such a pleasure to deal with. We replaced the siding on the outside of our townhome. Sung was quick to respond and came to see us, he provided us with a quotation the same day. He is professional and super efficient and we were confident that a good job would be done, we were right! Dream exteriors was great at being transparent with what my costs would be, timeline for project completion, and any concerns they had about choices we needed to make. There was no high-pressure sales tactics from the team and the foreman was very quick to get feedback on each step to make sure he was satisfying my desire for how everything would look. I have worked with Sung at Dream Exterior on several window projects both at my house and at a few of my rental properties. The work is always done on the time schedule agreed upon and for the agreed upon cost. This company is great to work with.

The best experience possible! The sales people were polite and did thorough job in explaining our options and the process. The installation team was on time every day and cleaned up every night. We had 40 windows installed, casement, double hung, stationery, and one massive palladium, in a little over four days.
We had no need to repaint the molding nor touch-up the walls!
We had to deal with other window contractors over the years and there were always issues. Not with Dream Exterior, several neighbors had used them to the same level of satisfaction, so we had hopes the process and windows would be good. However, it was great!

We just completed work with Dream Exterior for outside trim work. The whole process was flawless and professional. Sung showed up on time to gather info. The estimate was fairly priced and detailed including pictures. Heather, their project manager, coordinated the schedule. Sung communicated the work to the team that came to do it so we did not have to explain anything. They did a fantastic job. They cleaned up all areas where they worked. Sung even followed up with a phone call at the end of the day. I highly recommend them. We will definitely use them for future projects.

I had sidings and trims started to fall off on my house. I thought it was time to have them replaced because it was approaching end of life expectancy. Dream Exterior came out and looked at it and said they can just repair and replace the fallen pieces since the rest of the siding and trim are in decent condition. They finished the work quickly and charged me only a fraction of another company would have charged. They are honest and very professional. They not only do high quality work but have the best interest of the customers on their mind.

I recently I found a large piece of my vinyl siding in front of my neighbors house. It had come off my townhouse during a windy day from near the roof.
I called around to get a viynal siding repair which was actually the hard part.
I narrowed the list down to three contractors.
The first said they didn't do repairs and the other two were local businesses. I chose to hire Dream Exterior as I found them knowledgeable and professional..
Sung (the owner)came promptly the following day to give me an estimate and he also said that whomever had originally installed the vinyl siding had cut corners, they had installed a large piece rather than singling the vinyl siding. This particular detail the other company didn't mention but they did give me a cheaper estimate.
I hired Dream Exterior for their honesty and knowledge about the viynl siding repair job.
The work would being 2 weeks after Thanksgiving, however I was concerned about water getting into the house from the exposed rotten wood. Sung said if he could find the material it may be sooner. Two days later Sung called me to let me know that he found the material and work would start earlier.

Heather the office manager was so lovely and again very professional. She emailed me the contract, payment details and job complete invoice. It was a real pleasure to work with her.
The best bit was that I didn't need to take time off work and be home. Sung kept me informed of the progress via text messages and pics of work.
It looked wonderful once the work was completed.

We did window replacement and door replacement during 2020. Sung and his crew treated our property carefully and did a nice, neat job. Sung just returned to do a small adjustment to the front doors, and they are working "smooth as silk" again.

Our project involved blowing out an entire bedroom wall and installing two custom sliding doors (custom bright and width.) My wife called and met with numerous installers, and the only reasonable prices involved manufacturers that no one had ever heard of- and a wait time of nearly a half a year to have them made.

We met with Mr Song of Dream Exterior, and not only was he super polite and professional, but offered a great price using high-quality custom Pella Doors. We could not believe they could deliver that value, and indeed they did. When the doors were ready from the manufacturer- the entire job (demolition and installation) was done in one day.

In terms of commitment to excellence, the installer was not happy with the performance of one of the locks, and they came out and replaced it. This was an example of a professional who takes initiative for perfection themselves.

So happy with the work this company did for my home. After being exposed to the elements for more than 30 years, the bay window had rotting wood all around. They came the day after I called and gave me a quote that was very reasonable. The entire project was completed in a single day less than a week later. The old wood was removed, the space was newly sealed, covered with PVC and repainted. The team was very professional. Before calling Dream Exterior, I had previously called some of the bigger, more established companies in the area that refused to do repairs and were pushing me to rebuild the whole bay window from scratch without even coming out to do a basic inspection. We had an excellent experience - they replaced two floor to ceiling windows and two smaller windows that had rotted out and were leaking water, as well as all the siding on two levels of our extension. This included discovering significant water damage, and they replaced the associated plywood and insulation at a very reasonable cost. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the work, and how professional and responsive the team was. Highly recommended!

A "dream" to work with! We just moved homes and after we settled in, we discovered through a later inspection that the windows were all original (soon due for replacement) and that our window trim was all wood with rot in many areas. The biggest issue was the rot at our dormers, leading to insects getting inside. Our gutters were also not draining rain well and needed to explore larger/better gutters. This was a project that we knew would have to take priority.

I messaged Dream through another platform, and to my surprise, someone responded and called me immediately and was able to send someone out the same day for an estimate. Sean, who worked with us on our estimate, was on-time, friendly, and low pressure. He provided an estimate to repair all of our 20-year old wood trim and recommended to encase it in aluminum. The contract was very well outlined and we felt it was a fair price. The most important part for me was that it did not feel like there were any games to play, as I was expecting/fearful of this from researching window related jobs.

The work team showed up early all week and left late each day. I have never seen a team to dedicated and punctual. They even came on the weekend to wrap things up and clean up. The gutter team finished their work within a few hours... so under a day of work.

Roof replacement they did for my house was excellent. I scheduled an appointment at 8am to estimate replacing roof, and they showed up on time. The estimated price was reasonable. And I really like how they professionally finished replacing my roof so quickly. They replaced the old water flashing to new so my gutter can get the rain instead of leaking into my house. I had recently replaced gutter and they nicely took my gutter and re installed my gutter like before.

Recently finished work with my house late June. I was initially interested because their prices were cheaper than other companies I checked but will definitely have to agree with the other reviews about their professionalism. They did an amazing job with the door replacement. I was initially skeptical but the KHPP vinyl windows they offered were exactly what I was looking for. I could customize my own windows' type to replace double hung windows to casement windows. I would honestly recommend them to anyone for replacing windows and replacing doors.

Dream Exterior installed new gutter for us on the first week of this month (May, 2021). The installation team arrived on the allotted time and start replacing the gutters. They replaced front door, kitchen window, trim on sides and roof, replaced gutters in front and back of home, replaced trim around rear double doors and chimney. He was on-time, and explained what he could do and gave a great price. On work day, he said they would be there at 7:30am. They arrived at 7:00am and began work right away. Dream Exterior replaced my outdoor vinyl siding and installed additional insulation under the siding. I got 6 estimates, Mr Sung Yi matched the lowest estimate and then under bid it. He came highly recommended from a friend due to his meticulous attention to detail. I am so glad I chose his company!

The material came almost immediately. Other companies quoted me months to get the material. When ice and snow were forecast, he covered the siding and insulation on my driveway with a tarp to prevent damage.

His crew worked fast and hard each day, and was meticulous with the installation. They paid close attention to every detail. I had no idea all the vents would match the color of the siding! They came early and left late. I asked them to install a gable vent, although they were not quite up to that point one day, so that animals could not enter the attic at night. It was installed before they left that night.

I found during the installation that there was no outside insulation in the attic level when the siding was removed...who knew? Luckily, I had additional insulation installed.

The installation looks great! I love the color I chose, and it looks beautiful. The crew paid close attention to every detail during the installation. There are no waves or bubbles in the installation (like my 35 year old vinyl siding). I have seen new houses where in installation is not perfect like mine!

I would highly recommend Dream Exterior for any job they perform. The crew is well trained and works hard all day long. They come early (7-7:30 am) and leave late (at dark in the winter). I turned on all my outside lights so they could complete the section they were on in near darkness. My house was completed in less than 3 full days. I expected a full week to install the siding and insulation. It is perfect.

We had 23 Pella windows installed in our house by Dream Exterior and they did an excellent job, we were very happy with them and would use them again in a heartbeat. We had as one of our installations a large bay window that required extra care to install. The owner of Dream exterior was there with 3 men and we watched them create it on site, and it was apparent they knew what they were doing. They measured and cut and set the frame beautifully, and we could not be happier.
In addition, they were extremely considerate. It rained part of the day, and the moment they came in the house they removed their shoes in order not to track in wetness and dirt. They protected our floors and surrounding furniture with great care, they even created a temporary walled area inside with plastic sheets around the window they were working on in order to contain any dust. The outside of the house was completely cleaned of debris when they were finished, except for a cigarette butt in the grass. They worked hard for a long day, were there very promptly to start at 7 am, and were just a great pleasure to work with. We have had many bad construction experiences in the past, and this was refreshingly good! They get a 5-star rating from us!

Dream exterior installed 36 new windows and doors in our home. We could not be happier with the quality of the installation. The finish work, both inside and outside, is of the highest quality, and they demonstrated a high level of attention to detail down to the final spot check. The team arrived early each morning and worked hard all day during each day of the installation. They were pleasant to work and communicate with. We wouldn't hesitate to have them back at our home to do other kinds of upgrades to the exterior.

So we just had the siding replaced on our house by Dream Exteriors. As the customer, they were very comfortable to work with starting right from the estimate process. Arrived on time, listened to what we were thinking, made suggestions along those lines, and provided solutions for us to review and consider. We did engage with 5 other siding companies for estimates. Once we decided, Dream Ext. worked with us scheduling the installation as we required a HOA approval prior to the start. We set the date, they arrived right on time (date and time), and actually completed the work a day earlier that expected. As questions arose, they did not move forward without consulted with us. One thing I neglected to say to the Team Leader was, I could tell it was a good Company/Crew as all 8 on the installation team were very happy, very engaging, very friendly, and very confident in what they were doing and saying. The James Hardie plank, trim, and shutters look great on the house. We are very pleased with the work by Dream Exteriors. The best thing is, they were recommended to us, and they had the best price, and they exceeded our expectations. After the siding job they did for us, I added on with them to come back and replace our Gutters and Downspouts. We do recommend Dream Ext. highly!

We used Dream Exteriors for two home improvements, to replace thirteen windows - including a large Bay window - and to replace our roof. We are 100% satisfied with both upgrades, in quality and workmanship. The windows are excellent, a very neat job that was completed in one day. The roof looks great. I Just had 24 windows replaced in my home and expected it to take at least 2 days. To my astonishment, with a crew of 8 highly qualified professionals, the project was completed in less than one day. The crew’s efficiency and attention to detailed resulted in a very good end product. The installation and finish work for my window installation was excellent! They completely changed the trim and the whole profile of the windows looks so much better. Their consideration of the home owner, attention to detail, superior technical knowledge, and superb customer service is the best we've experienced in 20 years of doing home improvement projects in Northern Virginia. They set over 30 windows for us in one day then finished cladding and trim the second day - a project we fully anticipated would take four plus days. They did lots of extras and got things exactly the way we wanted. Highly recommend!!

This was a very painless process. No hassle/hard sell in the quote/buying process. On time for the measurements and windows came quicker than I expected. Dream Exterior exceeded our expectations! The material quality was expected but the installation was of the highest "PROFESSIONAL" level that either my wife and I have ever experienced. We would give Dream Exterior a higher than 5 STAR rating! The work they did was full window, door, siding, gutters, and exterior/interior trim replacement.
