They showed up on time (few minutes early), did extensive work evaluating everything, and walked me through the most important issues at the end.

The digital report is easy to follow and includes pictures of just about everything. A nice touch that the report on each section tells you what type of contractor to contact to fix said issue/s. Overall, highly recommend this company!

We had a good inspector with Eric. He was thorough and took time to answer all our questions as he went along. This was a fairly extensive inspection encircling the outside, inside, roof and crawl space. The report that was sent the next morning was concise and expanded upon all that was said in the after inspection meeting. We would use Boggs Inspection Services again if we were to purchase another home. The home buyers videos in the report have valuable information even for us and we have owned several homes in various locations

Our home inspector, Barry Shapiro, arrived on time, introduced himself and inquired if I had any specific concerns regarding the home that required his attention. He immediately went to work and I thought his attention to detail was very impressive. He took the time to go through each picture he took and explain why it was a concern to be aware of and answered all my questions onsite. Very thorough. The written report with pictures arrived the following day and I found the document to be in order and professionally assembled. In all, it was a very positive experience.

UPDATE:
As you can see, and as I experienced on the phone, unwilling to take responsibility. We paid for the inspection. We had a full length, specific conversation on who the report was to be sent to. We were told: "Of course, no problem". But instead of them saying, "Hey, listen, we messed up" it is, "We did everything right".

This is why I'm writing this, too many companies are like this now days. The bigger they get, the harder it is for them to maintain their customer service. I don't write bad reviews often, in-fact, I don't like to. But the general attitude during the phone call, that I had to make to get them to send the report was unfortunate. I hope this is something that can help others. Receipts attached.

Broken Promises Have Consequences
I hired this company on behalf of a client specifically because they advertise a 24-hour turnaround for inspection reports. That promise was not kept. We waited well past the 24-hour window, and only after I reached out did the report finally show up.

When I spoke with the owner and asked for a discount—something reasonable, considering the service didn’t meet the timeline they marketed—I was brushed off with, “I sent it, must have been a computer glitch.” That response told me everything I needed to know about how seriously they take their commitments.

What makes this worse is that I was very clear about who the report needed to go to. I was told “No problem.” But clearly, it was. In my business, when I refer a vendor to a client, their service reflects back on me. This situation damaged that trust—and ultimately, my credibility.

I made the request for the inspection, I My company paid for it, we were the point of contact.

I’m leaving this review because it’s becoming too common: companies like Boggs promote guarantees they don’t consistently deliver, and when they fall short, they minimize it. That’s not professionalism. That’s false advertising, and it has real consequences for the people who rely on them.

The report he wrote was easy to understand and underlined the most important details showing what needed to be taken care of the most.
