What people say about “Blade RV Service Center”?

Customer feedback about Blade RV Service is mixed, with notable contrasts in experiences regarding service and communication. Many customers praised the exceptional customer service and quick turnaround times for repairs, noting the competency and friendliness of the staff. However, there are significant complaints regarding the service department's handling of issues, with reports of dismissive attitudes and communication breakdowns, particularly in complex problem scenarios. This inconsistency suggests that while some customers have had excellent experiences, others have faced frustrating interactions that detract from the overall service quality.

Stopped in 10 minutes before close because I needed my hitch adjusted. Both the service counter and mechanic were great and got me fixed up right away.

Bought an RV with Blade, and that was fine, but I would recommend avoiding the service department. Trailers are always going to have issues, big and small, so service matters. In the most recent incident that prompted this review, the shop treated my husband poorly, dismissed his concerns, and refused to take the time to understand the problem. They insisted that what we needed was to purchase 2 new batteries, but the batteries checked out fine. It seems we are on our own to figure out our RVs electrical issues and find a solution. We may have caught them on a bad day or at a busy time, but the level of care was well below my expectations.

Very happy with the sales there at blade I recently got my 2013 Jayco Whitehawk from them I love the Jayco brand and always will because of how Jayco builds their units where I see this improvement is where I only give shy of 5 stars and that's communication between departments meaning I sent a email saying I recently bought my trailer from them and 1 month later it's leaking from a hose and the connection is loose apparently the sales department got my email first and some how there was miscommunication on word there's always room for improvement no matter what otherwise I love my 2013 Jayco that was sold to me another suggestion is on the sales lot part instead of putting used units behind new units the used units should be in front the 1st row so when a customer pulls in they can see the units or even look inside of them it would help the buying experience

We travel 75% of the time and have seen a lot of RV service centers. I say this because Blade RV Service is in a whole other league. Their customer service, help AND quality is unmatched. We took our Jeep in for a flat tow system and they knocked it out of the park. Helped get everything, made room for us to get in and installed flawlessly. Many RV service shops rush through, 50/50 quality and on to the next one. Not Blade. Shout out to Steve (Service) and Juan (Tech) for the highest quality we’ve seen to date. We’ll intentionally seek Blade RV out in the future for service. Steve and Juan, you are an amazing team, kudos and thank you for making us feel like family, while providing astonishing service!

Well spent several days trying to get a window replacement and install. Due my 5th wheel being a specific brand, apparently only one person deals with scheduling and ordering parts for the window replacement. I was told that on a Friday when I called. It was late in the afternoon so I called on Saturday and told that due to the holiday weekend to try Tuesday. I got through to the coveted brand specific employee! In which the individual wanted to start the classic customer run around scenario, and became condescending. I did not want any part of that, I asked to speak with a manager. Employee refused to put me through with the manager. I stated a explicit statement to the employee and took my business elsewhere. If you are about to spend a thousand plus dollars and want the run around and belittled by a employee this is your place.

We purchased an RV recently and picked it up today. Had a wonderful experience during our walk-through with Phil. He was very detailed, patient and never once rushed us. We appreciated the opportunity to ask questions and work through everything. The RV had was used and had been cleaned very well. Our sales associate and the sales manager were great to work with. Overall, great experience. I will be recommending them to our friends and family.

A few years ago I bought a heated hose to connect our park style trailer to the supplied water, and resist freezing. It's worked well. A rapid drop to very low temperatures coincided with a power outage and our hose froze last week. I went back to consult on remedies. The fellow I talked with waspleasant, clear and helpful. I'd recommend these folks!

We are new to RV's and had an issue with fresh water tank vs grey water tank. Stopped here despite the sign saying they were closed. The technician working was amazing and helped us figure it out. He was incredibly kind and helpful. All for no charge on a day they were closed.

We would also like to thank the sales center that was open and directed us to the service center telling us there would be someone there to help us.

After a five month delay waiting for parts from the KZ factory, Blade did an excellent job repairing body damage to the corner of my toy hauler. Shirley worked with my insurance company so I did'nt have to be the middle man. They even fixed a faulty running light I discovered while preparing to leave (that was not part of the original repair). All-in-all I would Blade's quality and service as excellent.

Bought a used travel trailer from Blade Rv. The walk through was performed at the service center. Jon did an excellent job of answering all my questions and then some.
Then while Jon was busy getting the hitch squared away, Phil showed me what they had to offer in the store.
Well done guys!

Blade RV Service was recommended by a friend as he had received good service. When I dropped the trailer off Steve helped me and we both expected the repairs to be expensive and timely.

To my surprise I received a call just a couple days later stating we got lucky and the technician was able to repair the leaking door with out having to replace it. And that my other concerns were super minor to repair.

I am happy that these guys were fast and saved me money.

This will be the second time we have used blade rv service. They do good work, but could really work on their customer service skills. We felt like they were doing us a favor by working on our 5th wheel. We’ve spent a lot of money on paint and service items. One would think that they would go over their work and show you everything that was completed. That’s would be GOOD customer service. They are a busy business and when work was completed they want it picked up ASAP. However, it took us going out 3x to finally have the 5th wheel ready. First time= some work not completed, 2x=They let the battery die, finally 3rd was able to pull it home. No real apologies for us driving out 3x. Even if you don’t really care at least act like you do! Customer service is so important and really easy to give if you CARE

Sadly rewriting my review. They did some good work and some really shady work. The problem is with shortcuts. Some shortcuts don’t matter but others have long term consequences. Most of the staff is very nice. The guy who schedules you is a peach, but the guy you have to bring problems to is not. When shortcuts cause problems he becomes very condescending. They did not fix the problems but they sure charged me twice. I am taking my business elsewhere.

Nothing but highest regards for these people!! The fridge in my Rpod went out two weeks out of warranty!! I called Dometic to try and get it covered under warranty since the trailer sat for 16 months during COVID-19 and they said to get it checked by an authorized dealer to see if it was a manufacture defect or something I did to it. Soooo!! I went to Poulsbo RV, since they are authorized dealers of Dometic, and they informed me they would not look at it unless I bought the trailer at Poulsbo!!! I bought the trailer in Pasco. So then I came to Blade and they were more than happy to look at it. They did so and determined it was a factory defect and Dometic was sending a new fridge!! All this took some time due to covid, but eventually the fridge arrived and an install date was set for three weeks later. I was not happy about that, but Blade has been swamped!!! A day before I was to bring in the trailer I called to be sure we were on schedule, as many places will give you a date and keep pushing it back. But, I called Louise, and he said we were on schedule. I brought it as scheduled and 3 hours later they called and it was installed and working. I could come and pick it up. I did and all works great!! My thanks to the whole crew at Blade RV. I only know the names of Jon and Louise, and many thanks to them. They are the ones I worked with directly, and the rest of the crew in the office were kind and pleasant. Also want to thank the installers. They did a nice job. My advice to all is beware of Poulsbo RV. I will not darken their doorway ever again!! And I bought a 5th wheel from them in the past. Nothing ever again!!

The new roof is nice and they did the work quick. However it's been 3 weeks since I notified them about damage I found on the inside from there exterior repair, including roof vents being installed backwards electrical outlets not working a broken skylight, etc. and they have not been very responsive. Ive had to reach out to them 5 times to receive one call back. I will update when the problems have been resolved.

Update: I paid for the electrical to be fixed. They did it within a week now the outlets on the opposite side of the trailer don't work. The outlet in my bedroom shows burn marks. They replaced the skylight at no cost to me and corrected their mistake installing the vents backwards. I don't plan on using their services again. They claim many of my problems that popped up are do to the roof being replaced and the wood rotting from drying out now that there's no leaks. I need a second opinion after this experience so I'll be finding someone else for the electrical.

Took my 5th wheel there to have an awning replaced. In which I bought the fabric elsewhere. They got right on it and got it back in one day. Very satisfied and the people were very respectful. I would recommend blades RV to anyone. The gal I worked with in.th office was overly nice . Thank-you for the great job. Als RV in Bellingham wouldn't.do it because I never bought the fabric from them and they wanted over $400 for the fabric to do it if I bought the fabric from them plus the labor another $425.

Everyone wears masks. Great communication. Very clear on what would fix a problem, might fix a problem, and wouldn't fix a problem. Also very clear about which repairs were likely to expand in scope once repairs started because of possible hidden damage. Waiting on parts for the hard stuff and will update review after final repairs are done.

2021 review: Follow up a year later for more service, horrible experience. Trevor the manager has no customer service skills, I think he's overwhelmed.
They no longer seem to care about retaining customers. I am almost 4 years into this trailer, have spent thousands of dollars in upgrades and maintenance, and am about to buy a new one, but not from them.
Brought trailer in for general check, tires, hubs etc. They said my brakes were seized, they put all new brakes on and now my trailer brakes don't work. I now have a hub that gets hot, they have no interest in looking at or fixing. They (blade) checked my tires and because of the hub brake issues, I stopped at Les Scwab where they found two of my tires were bald. Yet, they
(blade) charged me to check the tires. This is when they found one of the hubs that they (blade just installed) was loose. On top of all this I found a piece of my fascia sitting on my kitchen table, the gray tank was full (new water pump installed/ tested), and a few mice for my trouble.
Attempted to work with John in service,
but no call back, no interest in resolving. There are good people here, but they've lost my business.

2020 review:
Straight forward, honest, and quality RV work. I purchased my RV here, and have had them do a number of maintenance checks, fixes, and also had them recently add Solar/Inverter and 6 Volt Batteries. I'm very pleased with their quality of work, and while it's a bit expensive, so are RVs.

Took my RV in for servicing and they suggested the Camp Ready service where they will check pressure to the water lines, lights, etc. Also needed some other repairs done that I had listed out.
They have a very difficult time providing an estimate and I had to keep requesting one from them. Initially was told that they can't really give me an estimate because they don't know long things will take. I had to explain that it was an estimate, not a quote that I was looking for. The estimate I received was not very organized, but I was at least able to figure it out.
I brought the rv to them on a Thursday evening with the understanding that they were going to begin looking at it on Friday morning. They didn't begin anything until Saturday afternoon, and the only thing done was a wash of the rv. They had the rv for a full two weeks, which was probably about 3-4 days too long in my opinion.
When I got the rv back, one of the exterior lights is still not working and now my water heater has a leak outside. I am presuming this was caused from the pressure check.
I also am now having issues with the operation of the landing gear which I had never experienced before taking the rv in. I also noticed that the panel where my tank valves are located pulls away now when I open the valves to drain the tanks. This was not an issue before I brought it in.
The customer service interaction is the primary reason for the low rating, the communication was poor at best, and I felt like I was being talked down to when I did have any conversation with them.
I've owned several rvs over the years and fully understand that things go wrong with them quite often, but the service I received here has ensured that I will not be bringing any rv back to them for any type of service at all. My experience felt reminiscent of going to a shady auto mechanic shop back in the 70s or 80s, where not everything that was supposed to have been done was completed and estimates were kept in a shroud of mystery.

Recently we needed emergency electrical repair to our motor home, Blade came through with flying colors. They got us in for repairs in 2 days, diagnosed the problem and promptly fixed it. The price was very fair and everyone we encountered was helpful and friendly. Will definitely use Blade in the future and highly recommend this company to my fellow RVers!

Place has the worst service I have ever seen. They had my trailer for almost 2 months they finally called me to tell me it’s all ready to pick up. So I went the paid them towed it home to find out they never did any work to it. Still had the same exact issue it went there for

Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.

2. How much does it usually cost to replace the roof of a commercial building?
+-

The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.

3. What factors affect the overall roof repair cost?
+-

Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.

4. What is the typical roof leak repair cost, and how is it calculated?
+-

Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.

5. What is the average flat roof repair cost for commercial buildings?

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
