My roof was actually replaced 2.5 years ago by Baker, as part of a larger townhouse neighborhood. The work was done very quickly and decent quality overall, in terms of completeness of the replacement. However, I was very disappointed with the cleanup and "putback" by the staff. As the crew removed the old roof, they flung shingles, nails, and plastic caps across all neighborhood yards and landscaping. (two windows were damaged from debris, of which Baker did pay to replace) They did come back out, at my email request, to do a "once-over" but it really did not improve. Fast forward 2.5 years, and Aaron came out for another project in the neighborhood. I introduced myself and explained my situation. He immediately apologized and said that clearly their team fell short of quality expectations, and that me collecting nails weekly from my yard 2.5 years later is unacceptable. He promised to come over to my unit when they finished up at the other house. Sure enough, an hour later they were over. They cleaned out every single gutter of nails and roofing debris and reattached the gutter and gutter guard that were damaged in the roof replacement.
I'd encourage Baker Roofing to learn from Aaron and his colleague... quality and completeness are essential for customer satisfaction. Although I was unhappy with the job before, Aaron made it right. Did he have to do so? No. That's positive customer experience. Kudos to Aaron
