My experience with Baker Home Exteriors in having my windows and front door replaced couldn't have gone any better. My first contact was Justus Coury. He came out to my place, explained all my options, measured, and gave me a price that same day. Afterwards, he stayed in touch, and I was always kept up-to-date on when the materials should arrive and when my project would begin.
Next, the project lead, Luke Summers, took over. He was on-site every day. Luke was very helpful in explaining things and making sure everything was completed perfectly.
All phases were handled professionally - from the delivery to removing the old windows, installing the new, the painting, and the cleaning up.
Without any reservation, I would highly recommend Baker Home Exteriors.

He recommended an 8” round gutter that was much better than my current gutter system. I’m very happy with the workmanship and also the materials that Baker Home Exterior used. This is long, but worth reading. Beyond Excellent Work! We Highly Recommend Baker Roofing. Displayed their yard sign proudly. Met with 4 other companies before selecting them. We did not have to contract with any other company because Baker Roofing did everything we needed for them to do. This is one company that does it all. They did our roof, siding, windows, gutters, screen door to our patio and screens and more. Graham was superb from the first meeting. He came to our home on time and thoroughly went over the company’s work that they do. Any question we had he answered or found out the answer for us. He noticed additional damage, took detailed pictures, emailed our insurance company and those were approved to be fixed as well. They were able to complete work caused by the June 10th Hail Storm in one week. Unlike other companies who took months to come back to finish windows after their roof was done. They did not set the work date until all of the materials needed for completion were in. Luke was amazing. He supervised the work while it was getting done and after. He was on site every day all day. If we had questions or concerns Luke was there. He’s a personable person. I see him smiling now. He cares that the work being done is to a high standard. He even worked on the windows and screens. Baker Roofing cleaned up immaculately after each job. We had absolutely zero complaints about the company. All of the workers were

They came out to give me an estimate for my roof and gutters. The sales rep showed up on time and sent me a quote for both. I agreed to the gutter contract and they gave me a date they would show up. They were a no show. Go with someone else!

I scheduled an appointment however, the day of the appointment I was called stating the technician had a family emergency (perfectly understandable) therefore I had to reschedule. On the day of the reschedule, the technician did NOT show up, call, or anything. I called to get information, however no explanation was given, plus I didn't receive a call back to re-reschedule. Just a complete waste of my time. There was no customer service recovery attempt made whatsoever from this company to rectify the situation. Sorry, but I can NOT endorse a good experience.

Reached out to Baker about having some flashing work to be done around my chimney. Was quoted nearly $3000 for something that should be 1000-15000. Was then told he would discount it to 2200 to try and save me some money. Told the representative that I thought that was still a little high and he came back with a "quote" for 1800 after discussing his quote with his boss. Caved cause I needed the work done to close on the sale of my house. Guess what never happened on the scheduled day? Never got a phone call, text or email saying that the work was going to be delayed. DO NOT use Baker Roofing, there are so many other things that happended but I dont want to write a novel. The entire process was extremely unprofessional and nearly caused my house to not close on time.

This was a very easy process from start to finish, the personnel arrived on time for everything from the initial estimate to the job completion. The crew was very professional and knew their jobs well. Mr. Lawerence, the project manager was very responsive and explained the work and answered all of our questions. I noticed their signs while driving down I-26. I had been in need of a roof repair for a few months and had asked many friends who are contractors for a referral, none of them came through. So I called the number I saw on the sign and was greeted with a warm and friendly voice that said they would be happy to come out and take a look. Baker Roofing showed up within in two days and provided a complete write up with pictures. They were out the next week and completed the work. They were, quick, professional, neat in their work (there was no sign/mess that anyone had ever been there). They live up to their promise that they “will always do good work”. I will be recommending them to all of my family, friends, and neighbors. If you want your job completed timely, affordably, neatly, and correctly then I recommend you use Baker Roofing.

I had a great experience with Baker Roofing Company - starting with Andrew Pope who made the initial site visit to determine our roofing requirements to prepare a quote for the job. Andrew was very friendly, professional and answered all of my questions. The initial visit gave me confidence that I didn't need to get any further quotes and to go with Baker Roofing to have my roof replaced and gutters installed. Next came Greg Lofink, Site Manager and my primary contact throughout the project. Greg was very easy to get along with - I was able to communicate with him throughout the project and he always responded quickly when I called or texted him with a question or request. He ensured I was satisfied with each step of the project. We had good rapport with each other and talked many times about things other than the roof going up on my house. His crew did a great job and he was on site throughout the installation of the roof to monitor the progress of the work. Whenever I had a question he was more than happy to give me an answer, and did not make me feel like I was bothering him. All of his crew did excellent work - the roofers and the men who repaired/replaced fascia and soffit and installed the gutters. I think Daniel was the lead person for the fascia/soffit and gutter installation. He also was very professional, answered my questions and made me feel comfortable that I was being provided excellent and skilled craftsmanship. Andrew, Robert and the whole team did a great job of installing a new roof at our business. It looks great, and they made the process easy. We had to get our roof replaced on the home we bought unexpectedly. Hubby patched it and thought the problem was probably due to shoddy workmanship (he used to do roofing). We knew we wanted someone who would do a quality job and not just slap a roof on for cheap that would fail prematurely. After research we went with Baker Roofing. Their continuing education on best roofing practices, quality control management, and history on reviews of going the extra mile to make it right in the advent of any errors (we are all human – mistakes happen) was what really attracted us to them. Andrew came out quickly to examine our roof and give us an estimate. He is very knowledgeable and explained the different material options and wind ratings well (we live in an area where hurricanes happen). The quote was a good price too.

The day of the job the roofers showed up on time. The site manager, Greg, was fantastic! He communicated with us every step of the way to set up the time for our roof to be installed and during the weather delays. I really like how many photos the company requires to be taken during the roof installation and accountability for both quality as well as safety for the roofers. Due to rain our two-day roofing job was short a day – the roofers worked hard and completed installation in one day! I also thought it was good leadership how Greg took care of them and brought them lunch. They protected Hubby’s plants along the house and not a single one was damaged. The clean-up was phenomenal – you couldn’t tell they had been here and Greg did a walk around to personally pick up any little bits of shingle that had been missed! I really appreciated how patient and educational Greg was with our extremely inquisitive 10 year old. They were short a few of the ridge shingles and, being a weekend, the stores were closed. The roofers still put a long shingle on to protect from rain and Greg came back and installed the ridge shingles on himself.
I was low on checks so chose to drive down to their local office and pay in person. Their office person, Hannah, was friendly and competent as well.

A great experience! Next time we need a roof we will be going with Baker Roofing!

From my first contact with Abigail Patrick, then estimate/eval from Andrew Pope and then getting the job done from Greg Lofink and his crew, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Nobody was pushy, everyone was professional, the communication was very clear (including pics during the job) and my new roof was done in no time at all. Baker Roofing installed a new roof on our home in Mt. Pleasant. Andrew Pope in sales was on time for our initial appointment, responsive to numerous questions and gave me several options along with sound advice. I had a piece of siding come off during a storm. I called and said that I needed it fixed soon because it was going to rain again that day. Greg from Baker came out within an hour and half of me initially calling and had it fixed. He was friendly and prompt. I will definitely go to Baker for future business.

Baker installed a new standing seam aluminum roof on our house. The roof turned out just as we had wanted. But we were not happy with how the facia material was installed or looked. Mike Laurence looked at it and agreed with us. He put his most experienced crew on it . They were lead by Richard. Richard came out removed all the facia and replaced it with an up graded much better looking product and made sure it was properly installed.
We are very pleased with our new roof and even more impressed that they would redo and replace any of the work that we were not happy with.

Peter arrived on time, inspected our roof and chimney siding and explained the process and his findings as he went. Very knowledgeable and professional; I'll be having them do the necessary repairs. A ++ service.

Van Melder and his team were very professional throughout the process, and provided details and photos of the repair work that they performed. Getting our new roof installed by Baker Roofing was a seamless process from beginning to end. Van, the Residential Sales representative in the Charleston, SC area went above and beyond to explain the whole process to us and to accommodate our insurance adjuster's schedule, who was coming in from out of town. Our adjuster acknowledged to Van that he was well aware of Baker Roofing Company's great reputation in the industry. Another plus was the very high quality of the roofing materials used, which were also covered by a warranty, as well as the installation. Greg, the Project Manager for our installation, listened to my concerns about protecting our HVAC units and allayed my fears by telling me that tarps were used to cover shrubbery, HVAC units and other items that needed protection. Days before the project started, Van and Greg walked our property to address those exact items to be protected.
Greg arrived with a highly talented and efficient team of roofers who did a fabulous job and cleaned up our property during and after the install process. At completion, Greg asked me if I had any concerns or questions that he would be happy to address. Greg and his crew did an awesome job for us on our rental home in Whitney Lakes. Living 3 thousand miles away in California it can be frustrating to do even the simplest of repairs. Greg kept us updated as they progressed on the repairs and would send me progress pictures as they went. Greg himself also did some repairs and clean up for me that was not part of the original job. Baker Roofing did a very good job for us. Van Melder came out to our house several times to answer questions, photograph & video the roof, and discuss our different options. He also met our insurance adjuster to answer any questions they might have had. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend them to others in the Charleston area.
