I was pleasantly surprised when I met Matt with Mighty Dog Roofing about how honest he and his team were. I have used Mighty Dog on two different occasions. The first time was for a patch job after losing some shingles during a storm. Matt got me a more than fair quote and had everything patched up with in the week. The second time I was looking to replace the roof with something that was more resistant to the strong winds Charleston sees. Mighty Dog was the only roofing company to provide me with information about a State Grant that helps cover those costs. When it was time to replace the roof, his team moved everything, covered the whole area with tarps, immaculately cleaned up everything, and even put back all my patio furniture, wind chimes, and garden lights around the property in the exact way they found it. Matt checked in with me throughout the whole process and his installers were extremely courteous. I had one minor issue, a window screen was torn during the install, which was replaced within 2 days by his team. Overall, it was an extremely smooth and easy process. I feel the Mighty Dog team actually cares about their customers and are one of the few honest roofing companies out there. I cannot highly recommend Matt and his team enough.

June 10th , a big storm hit the Ladson area. My home received significant damage to the roof & vinyl siding as well as water leaking on the inside. I contacted my insurance company. I looked at various roofers & chose Mighty Dog Roofing. They where out the next day to emergency tarp the roof leaks in various areas from hail. I had a lot of repairs done over a period of time. They replaced the roof initially. Repaired the vinyl siding. Also repairs where made on the inside where water leaked in. Everything is back to normal. Thanks again !

I discovered a leaky pipe boot during TS Debby. I had contacted three roofing companies but two were extremely busy and wouldn’t be able to schedule me for two weeks. Mighty Dog Roofing was able to squeeze me in and accomplish the roof repairs in less than two weeks. They saved me from bigger problems that would have ultimately cost me in drywall repair and paint when more rain came. Versus replacing just one 11 year old compromised pipe boot, I decided to replace all four. I was not pressured into it by anyone. My father always told me that if one is going the rest aren’t far behind. The workers were professional and quick. We frantically called 3 roofing companies after hours, with a roof leak raining into our front hall. Mighty Dog called back that same evening and we had Byron arrive early the next morning.
Competent and professional, answering every question, presenting highest quality materials, explaining their quality installation, paperwork and finance approval were done easily. Their crew were on our roof at the crack of dawn. They put tarps down and left our front and back yards probably cleaner than when they got here.
I had done some roofing decades ago, back before college, and I kept a close watch. As promised, they did replace all of the decking that looked at all questionable.
Now, I have a picture perfect, beautiful new roof completed in just one day. They even put a new small roof over the little structure under my kitchen window, housing the plumbing where it comes into my home. So even that one little touch perfectly matches to make my whole home look awesome. Byron stopped by to keep an eye on progress at just the right times. Great experience and highly recommend Mighty Dog Roofing. The communication from the owner was frequent (kept me up to date with when workers would show up, asked me when it was appropriate for them to leave for the day [was a 2 day job, shows thought and consideration for others], and made sure all of my questions were addressed in a timely manner), the work done was excellent, and the price was in line with competitors. There are LOTS of nails that come out of the old roof, but they did an excellent job picking those up. If you're looking for a new roof, I would give these guys a look.

So honestly, I had roof damage, and needed someone fast, I didn’t know what I was doing or who to call so I just looked up a company on Google with good reviews and been around a while.
It was late in the day, but they answered right away and answered every question I had easily and patiently. They walked me through the whole process. At the end of the call, turns out I was talking to the owner of the company. I got a call that night from the specialist who was going to come out. Kirk Walker is the most positive and coolest dude, it’s almost weird. I had a million questions at all times of day, he answered right away, no matter what. First time he came out to see the roof he brought dog toys for our dog. I was worried about pricing, he worked stuff out for us. He was on time, without fail, made everything as easy as possible, and I couldn’t be more happy with my roof and gutters! And the drone shots are the cherry on top

The house needed a roof replacement and so I did a little research about my options. I wanted a product that qualifies for an insurance premium reduction. Owens Corning among others offers such products on their website and there I also found a link to preferred contractors. Then, I went forward and asked for a couple estimates including Mighty Dog who is a platinum preferred contractor for Owens Corning. Besides having a competitive estimate that was tailored to my needs, Dallas was listening to all my requests and my dozens of questions when we discussed what would be best for my roof and I quickly knew that this is the contractor that I want to work with.
The whole roof replacement process from scheduling, removing of old material, replacing rotten wood pieces, installing underlayment, drip edges and shingles to final inspection went really smooth. Dallas and Matt always kept me updated and a beautiful new roof is now installed.
