This is actually my second experience with Anderson Roofing. The first was repairs, John was great, fixed me up and was more than reasonable. He bought me some time before I needed a whole new roof. I called him up, he came the next day, I had an estimate that afternoon and a new roof two days later. Very responsive, came as scheduled and cleaned up everything before they left. I would absolutely recommend them!

I had an investment property in Myrtle Beach under contract. It needed some work but I was originally going to go through with the purchase even though I reside in MA. I decided it would be a good idea to have a professional go over to the property and take a look at the roof so I called Anderson Roofing.

I left a voice mail with my information and asked for someone to get back to me which I was hoping to hear back in a day or two. Much to my pleasant surprise John called me back just a few hours later. I explained to him the situation and described the property. John was already familiar with it as he told me he'd been out to see it more than once and that it needed a good deal more repair than I had been lead to believe. John was very matter of fact about it and didn't beat around the bush. He told me that the roof was beyond being repaired but needed to be completely stripped and redone. He gave me a ballpark estimate which I went back to the Seller with who then told me he'd also gotten similar estimates as Johns. These estimates were 5 times I was originally lead to believe it would cost AND John also informed me that his estimate was assuming there was no joist or interior wall damage from the long leaking roof which most likely there would be.

I cannot begin to thank John enough for helping me from making an extremely costly mistake that could have economically wiped me out. Although I didn't hire him to replace the roof as I withdrew my Offer due to amount of work needed, I am indebted to John for his help. Unfortunately, some contractors will say anything to get the job. John was completely the opposite and was honest with me despite that his information was virtually guarenteeing he wouldn't be getting the job.

Moving forward John will be the only person I will call when it involves anything roof related. Thank you again John for your honesty and integrity.
