Anchor Roofing - Rapid City, SD

My parents had hail damage to their roof from the past June and July hail storms, living here we expect and accept this every year, and now this makes three in a row. So many out of state companies come in so fast and knock my parents' door, aggressive creatures so much so that I put a sign out and they still knock. My parents met Shawn while they were having their nightly stroll, he was standing on the sidewalk about a 1/4 mile from the house, wished them a nice evening. They met him again repairing several of our neighbors' homes, they stopped and asked if he would look at their roof when he could. He came over an hour later, threw up his ladder, took photos while he was up there, showed them to them and even sent them to their e-mail address, and mine, which no roofer has ever done before, and even date stamped them to send to our insurance company, they didn't even sign anything with him yet. He answered all of their questions and left for them to have dinner. I called him three days later, he answered ever question we had with admirable honesty. Two weeks later we called him and setup the repairs, we asked to upgrade to a sturdier shingle, it was on backorder for two weeks but he kept us updated all the way. As agreed and approved by my parents' insurance company, we can happily say that Shawn and Anchor Roofing delivered, quicker than we thought, too. Nice, honest and intelligent young man, although being a Sooner Fan my dad would have never have gone with a Corn Husker but due to the Football Crazy year, I am glad my dad and mom did. Shawn is refreshing to talk to (not to mention easy on the eyes and a gentleman, lol) about roofing and college ball that's for sure, nice young, soft spoken, respectful, intelligent man. This has to be the most pleasant experience of having a roof replaced in the 60 years of my parents owning a home that they and I have ever had, and I have helped them replace at least 10 in their lifetime. Thank you to Shawn, thank you to Anchor Roofing, your honest and soft approach made a huge difference in our past experiences of bad roofing companies, we will share our pleasant experience with our friends and neighbors. And, I am most grateful to say, thank you for not taking advantage of the elderly, after re-inspection of our roof after your repairs, our agent stated it was "by far the best and most accurate repairs he had seen".
