Angel was outstanding to work with! He provided great information and set up the company to do the roof replacement and the work was outstanding!!!

Sparks came out the very next day from the El Paso office. He was a super duper guy, so polite and friendly and extremely helpful. He was a joy to work with. Got the rooms cleaned up of water and helped to move the water soaked rugs out to the driveway to start drying.

The crew was professional and very skilled. They got the mold out of our house and fixed the area like it never happened. Absolutely could not go wrong with this company! Thank you again.

I’m having a phenomenal experience with American restoration so far. The crew are prompt, professional, and help me smile (during a time when I was very frustrated with the fiber company who ran fiber through my sewer line causing sewage to backup and flood my bathroom, kitchen, and bedroom). Specifically, Jeremy and Antonio did a great job tearing out contaminated areas and took time to answer all of my questions and explain the process. I’m looking forward to working with the rebuild crew.

I was amazed at the speedy response. I called my insurance company to report storm damage to my roof and American Restoration arrived just a couple of hours later. My initial contact with them was with a very pleasant and sympathetic service representative who sent someone that day averting further property damage. American Restoration responded quickly by sending someone out right away. The technician who helped us, Jamar, was very respectful, courteous, and professional. He clearly explained how the fans work to dry the floors and prevent further damage. Jamar came by every day for four days to monitor the progress and made sure there were no signs of mold. This individual is an asset to the company and kept us well-informed throughout the process.

Got left hanging days late $1800.00 bill roof still leaking bedroom still not put back to original! No answers Nation Wide insurance left me hanging also not a good experience at all! Tarp was let on roof water pooled making problem worsening no follow through had to call claims adjuster gor answers

I had a great experience with American Restoration. I discovered water damage in my rental property two weeks before new tenants were set to move in. Ryan sent Gustavo out within the hour of my call to assess and start drying. Gustavo did an amazing job of communicating his findings and the potential timeline changes of mitigation and repair. They worked through Easter weekend (and a snow storm) to get the drywall and cabinets dry.

I explained the time crunch and everyone on the team moved mountains to make that happen. Angel with the rebuild team went out of his way to get materials sourced and make several trips to my property. He kept the team moving and kept me informed. This was an incredible stressor, but everyone answered my questions and did what they could to meet the two week deadline. I felt confident turning the project over and did not feel the need to visit the property daily, which was a huge relief living so far away.

Mitigation and repairs were all completed in the timeframe, and they worked with my insurance company to get things sorted out. I feel incredibly lucky to have such a great team, and would use them again if I ever had to! Thank you to Ryan, Gustavo, Ryan B., and Angel for getting it done!

American Restoration repaired and restored our Master Bedroom after a major water leak. Robert was extremely efficient and professional in handling our initial claim - followed through every step of the process.
Francisco did the patching job on the wall, complete with a perfect match of the paint. Robert finished the job with carpet repair and cleaning of the rug. Their professionalism was so appreciated by my husband and I. As octogenarian, we couldn't have done any of this by ourselves! Thank You!

We were falsely billed large charges for demolition and cleaning work that had already been completed by a friendly independent plumber who fixed a small radiant heat pipe in our home. It took multiple rounds of email communication for them to acknowledge and remove the charges for work they didn't do, and a "sorry for the confusion." Of note, they were attempting to charge more than double the amount the original plumber charged us for that portion of the work. We had minimal amounts of water damage, but equipment was left running for days after everything was dry, and we were again surprised by the charges for days of drying we didn't actually need. Very disappointed in the lack of integrity and professionalism.

It was a great experience. My bathroom flooded, they came in and fixed it all. It looks better than it did before! Francisco was an awesome guy. He left everything nice and clean after he was done. Great guy to work with.

Overall they made the process easy. Very happy customer.

Second floor flooding. No carpet, bathroom floor tile removed. The first person that came to my house was very nice but did not see him come back. They never complete the job from the garage ceiling nor started in the master bedroom. No call no show, no call from the company on any follow up on why no one showed up or sent someone to continue on finishing a job that was started . The heating fans were left running for 13 days straight. I will never recommend this company to any one. I Had to find a different contractor. This company continues to request for my feedback after I spoke with a female on the phone and rated them a one star and left her know I will not use their service.

I had a water pipe break in my kitchen during the freezing spell the end of January. I called American Restoration and they arrived within the hour and didn’t leave until they had everything under control that night. Their employees were exceptional. The did an excellent job over the next three weeks. They always called to tell me when they were on their way, were very polite and helpful. I felt very comfortable having these young men work in my home. And they got all the moisture out of my house. And that means, NO mold! Thank you American Restoration.

Very happy with the customer service and work from this company. Noelle, Amanda, and Ryan were incredibly helpful in completing mold mitigation on my house after a roof collapse. The estimate was turned around quickly, and the work was communicated up front with no surprises when work was done. They were communicating often and notified me of all findings right away. They helped me understand the various details of the work and were patient with me as I asked questions which helped me determine additional steps before continuing with my repairs. Very happy overall with the work and how quickly it was completed. Payment was easy and done conveniently over the phone with a credit card.

Highly recommend this company. David Harbough was my project manager for my rental property that suffered extensive damage. I live out of town and he took care of the whole project, kept great communication with me, updates, inspections, facilitated all repairs, and ensured the project was done. I had to put a lot of trust into this company since I was out of town and didn't have the ability to be on site for a period of time to oversea the repairs. David was instrumental in seeing it to completion. I will use them again if anything is needed.

I can't recommend American Restoration enough. Their entire team worked together very quickly to get my home restored after a nasty, messy sewer backup, which caused a lot of damage in many rooms of my home. Went over all of the needed repairs, explanations, etc. and very friendly, knowledgeable, timely and took care of all of the issues, including small details. You can't go wrong by using them!

American Restoration did a great job. On time. And if they were running late they notified me. It took about 3 days to dry out in 2 rooms. Carpet, base boards , dry wall was damaged. Cleaned up very well. Thank you for a job well done.

Recently we had our roof replaced and the gentleman that we directly worked with was Andy Gonzales, and I have to say that I have never had such a kinder and more patient person than Andy. He always answered his phone and very quickly returned my texts. He was with us from beginning to end of a very stressful job. But he always reassured me that every thing was coming along just fine. The crew that he was in charge of were very hard working and also very kind. I'm an 80 year old woman that is very picky about work being done around her house. The crew working for American Restoration did an excellent job repairing áreas of my kitchen and family room that were affected by water damage. They reconstructed a section of the lower kitchen cabinets and replaced toe kicks, cabinet trim, and baseboards. They also replaced drywall and repainted walls in the damaged area. The work was completed in a 3 1/2 days. Although the goal was to duplicate the original design and appearance of the areas involved, the final results were better than the original, both structurally and in appearance. Thanks to Francisco, Diego, Manny, Luis, and especially the Project Manager Angel for all of their expertise in bringing the damaged area back to life.

We experienced a water leak from a plugged drain on the roof, which resulted in drywall and paint damage inside the living room, adjacent to the fire place. GEICO Homeowners Insurance dispatched American Restoration Water & Fire of Albuquerque to repair the damage. The project manager (Andy), and the technicians involved were extremely polite, professional, thorough and prompt. Repairs were performed expeditiously, while the project manager kept in touch continuously with updates and requested information. We are VERY impressed with the quality of the job, and we would like to strongly recommend this company. THANK YOU American Restoration for a job very well done!

USAA sent us to another company early on which is interesting because across the street I saw American Restoration Water and Fire units working on a nearby house and they are also a preferred contractor for USAA.. Delay after delay with the other group led to me firing them and hiring the great folk at American Restoration Water and Fire of ABQ. David Harbaugh was our assigned liaison and literally had to start from scratch picking up the pieces left by the other guys.. He was top notch, workers were great and he cared, so many times people clock in and out and a job is a job. David wanted to make sure we were happy. And Happy We are. Great Job, lots of patience and going the extra mile like finding the right replacement tile after driving all over ABQ. The house needed new carpet walls ceilings, everything due to a water leak. Now it's good as new! Thanks David and crew, we are happy and if you are reading this you will be too!

We were extremely happy with the job Willie and Francisco did replacing our windows and wall. They were fast and did an excellent professional job. Also Andrew did a good job with the stucco and painting the exterior wall.

Diego came multiple days and really did an exceptional job painting my house and doing Sheetrock repairs. He had to get into some small areas in closets but got it done. The roofing team was awesome as well they were able to get my entire roof replaced in 4 days. I highly recommend these guys for home repairs.

Myriam and her team helped me replace my roof lightning fast! Whenever I had questions they would get answered within a couple hours. The crew was very respectful and did a great job cleaning up afterwards.

A pipe fitting broke in a bathroom and before I could get the water shut off at the street, the carpets in that part of the house were soaked. American Restoration sent a tech out within 30 minutes of talking to them. He did a good job and we didn't have to replace any of the carpet.

Being a property manager I have used American Restoration Water & Fire multiple times at properties when flooding has occurred. They are responsive and send reports of all the work completed. I highly recommend them and will continue to utilize their expertise in future as needed to rectify situations.

After being harrased by the same 'manager' who threatened me with collections when I never hired them- sure I'll leave you a review.

This company was hired BY my insurance to mitigate a failed roof as a result of a storm.
The two boys they sent were not only hours late, but brought nothing. Left to go purchase four sand bags and a 10x10 tarp (though they were thoroughly aware I had a 30x30 roof that was being tarped, as per my insurance adjusters email chalked full of details on the problem.
The boys left a small 'covered' spot that ultimately did nothing but add 200 pounds of constant pressure on a strained roof, sagging it further.
These same boys had the gaul to aggressively push and declare they've already been hired as the demo team and wanted to get started ASAP.
I ask again, demo for what? What's the plan? Who hired you for demo (not in your job description, and again, by whose order?)
They backed down after I told them they are to never return to the property as they're unprofessional, have zero understanding of what work needs done, and they surely don't carry a license to do it.
Following up (days later,) they sent another gentlemen who set up a dehumidifier- again, days after flooding, the damage and mold were already in place. A whole 24 hours later received a multitude of texts stating they need the dehumidifier back for another job.

Following this insanely poor performance, they had the audacity to bill ME directly, not the insurer that ordered the inspection. This is a small mistake and should be easily fixable but Amandumps fixation with my money led to some incredibly unprofessional threats to me, my property, and that I would be sent to collections (within a week or two of their visiting my house.)

In total, they charged $1,200 to damage my roof, waste my time, and ultimately threaten me with legal action for their mistakes.

The final remedy was my adjuster threatening legal action with the weight of Geico's legal team to bang some sense into this sad pathetic woman.

It is my opinion that these morons should be jailed for their scam tactics and exorbitant fee's they draft from thin air to squeeze any cent out of an insurance claim.

It was ridiculous. A snow storm tears of a skylight so my insurance sends this company to tarp the opening until it can be repaired. The tech they sent shows up with no tarp or any materials to cover the whole. He looks at the opening and says he can come back the next day. So I give him a tarp and a staple gun to cover the hole. Fine, whatever, but then he put tape on my acoustic ceiling unexpectedly and removing the tape tore off the ceiling contour. So stupid - anyone should know you can't do that.

7/10 update: I appreciate that sentiment but if I have another emergency I will not be looking for help from the people who messed up my ceiling.

I would highly recommend American Restoration especially Raymond. Raymond responded after we had water damage from a leaking roof. Raymond was courteous, on-time, polite and he did a great job. He was thorough, stayed on task and I was grateful to have him working on our home. Thanks Raymond and thanks American Restoration!

THEY ARE NOT SHADY!!! What greater compliment can one pay to a NM contractor! Andy - the project manager, was a perfect balance of friendly and professional, very trustworthy. Fernando - was a Picasso when it came to the art of drywalling, and Pedro - the roofer - he actually left our yard cleaner than he found it after an amazing job up top.
I was DREADING this water damage from hell repairs. They actually made it a pleasant experience. Three thumbs up!!!

Myriam and Mark were professional throughout the complete project. They explained how things work and the steps necessary. The roof work, the stucco repair and the paint work was excellent well done.

Had a leak cause water damage American restoration was quick to respond. They ripped out all of our floors and left, and cracked my bathroom sink, never saw them again. 6 weeks later nothing rebuilt just concrete floors, they don’t return phone calls or text messages. I can’t even get them to send me a list of what needs to be repaired so I can easily hire someone else. The demo guy Raymond as nice outside of him complete nightmare. Have literally been living off kind bars and bags of chips.

I manage multiple condos in the Albuquerque area and have worked with American Restoration and Daniel Bernal as my Project Manager on all of them. He has managed multiple restoration projects as well renovations, remodels and repairs and is extremely knowledgeable and reliable. When I needed restoration at my own home, I called Daniel at American Restoration right away. I have worked with many contractors over the past 20 years and I highly recommend Daniel and American Restoration.

American Restoration has helped me with two different floods in the last three months. They have done excellent work in both cases. David is very helpful in explaining what needs to be done. He has been great about seeing the work gets done in a timely manner. Andrew and Juan installed the dry wall in the kitchen and painted it in one day. They do quality work and are very polite and conscientious. Manny helped with the downstairs flood and did a great job as well. I highly recommend this company!

I'd like to share our appreciation for the work of the painting crew assigned to our project. Andrew Fresquez was the lead painter and guided the work of Francisco and Diego who ably worked along side him. Andrew's leadership, attention to detail, good humor and care really stood out. Francisco and Diego were quietly diligent, consistent and competent. We will miss seeing these pros, now that the painting has been completed. Thanks, guys!

UPDATE: We are finally 100% complete and I would like to leave a review for the Project Managers that took over and Finished our Project! John Cloud and Miriam were THE BEST! Assertive, honest, and bent over backwards to ensure our job was finished diligently, with excellence, and exactly to our preference! Communication was clear and frequent! They held a standard of perfection in all the work completed and anything less than was fixed! We couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Not to mention the 3yr warranty after completion is amazing! They were both truly a blessing and we are so thankful!

Our job is not complete, but I need to give 5 stars to Eddie on the contents crew. He has worked SO HARD for us and has gone above and beyond to bend over backwards and ensure our needs were met and our property contents have been treated with care and respect! He is great on communication and follows through with all that he promises! If you need your contents packed. He is the one to have in charge. We are so thankful for him!
