We got several quotes for our roof. Most were from construction or roofing companies that only sent to salesman out to my house. Mitch was the only one who came out and actually went up on my roof to look at it. He knew what products were needed based on the age of our home and the slope of our roof.
The team was here on time and got to work immediately. They were done by 2:30 in the afternoon. They cleaned up all of the debris and did a magnetic sweep for nails in the yard. You wouldn’t even though they had been here except I have a brand new spanking roof.

My home is under a sale contract and the buyer's home inspector suggested a roofer inspect the roof for possible leaks. Since we were closing in a week, I needed to get someone out quickly. I reached out to Mitch based on a friends recommendation. Mitch showed up the same day and performed a thorough inspection and provided the information I needed to pass along to the buyers. Problem solved. Great communication, understood the urgency. Great service.

Mitch had explained to us, there were also way too many vents which are all opportunities for more leaks, therefore combining a couple of vents whenever possible was our best option. Mitch was able to help secure our roof from future leaks, while also replacing any plywood that was affected by past leaks. Mitch and his crew came in on time, early in the morning and worked until it was completely finished that same day. They took the time to cover & protect each and every part of our home. They coordinated with our Solar Panel company so that the removal of the panels and the roofing and gutter work was streamlined perfectly with the reinstall of the solar system. Everything about Affordable Roofing was first rate. Very customer oriented, willing to alter their tight schedule to meet our needs. Installation crew were courteous, very hard workers, always on the move. Tarps and protection laid down all around the house. Magnetically swept the yard for nails and left our place as though it had never been disturbed.

In our quest to replace our roof, soffits, fascia skylights and gutters we obtained eight estimates from various roofing contractors. While the different estimates varied widely in multiple aspects Affordable Roofing was the clear choice for our project. From the estimate stage Mitch was easily reachable, returning our calls or texts promptly. He answered our multitude of questions and made very clear each aspect of the job. He and his entire team was completely professional and yet very courteous and easy to work with. They arrived promptly when they said they would. Did an outstanding job and even the cleanup exceeded my expectations. They weren’t the lowest estimate but for everything we received they gave us tremendous value for our money. There was never any hard sell or “sign today for a discount” coersion nonsense This is also a well established company that if there should be any issues, which I doubt, they’ll be there to deal with them. Perhaps my number one reason why we chose Mitch and affordable roofing is that Mitch is on EVERY JOB overseeing the crucial aspects of the job. No other company we received estimates from could say that. Everyone has “crews” for this and that but the owner never sees any of it. We had some roof damage that needed repair on a Holiday weekend. Mitch showed up, as promised, at 7AM that Saturday and took care of it quickly and inexpensively. Can't beat service like that.

When Mitch came over to do appraisal he suggested I go through my home owner insurance I had told him I went down that route with another company that knocked on my door and three months later Allstate said 975.00 and the company never called again .So I wasn’t going to do that again I was going to have Mitch do it he had done my brother in law house .But Mitch said I have a company I deal with they are the best in getting money back from insurance companies.The only reason I had called the company he suggested (liberty public adjusters)was because I was going to give him the job and he told me to do this first, he turned the job down because he was looking out for me ,this is the first time I met him.long story short I got back 10300.I called Mitch a week later a great solid new roof.Also I have a vinyl fence and a chip happened with construction which I never would of seen he told me and came back next day to take it to repair,I say all this because it’s about who this man is and I highly recommend.

Mitch has completed two roofing jobs (lower roof and upper roof) at my home in Brigantine in 2021 and recently in 2022. I was referred to him by a friend who is a general contractor. Mitch is a knowledgeable roofer. He was able to identify several significant problems with a relatively new roof including short nails and incorrectly sized step flashing for my shingles. I had blow offs and leaking around the chimneys. I ended up having him remove the existing shingles and start from scratch with proper copper rake and drip edges and correctly sized copper flashing around dormers and chimneys. I anticipate this roof will last 50 years. His crew was hard working and efficient. If he will travel to Pennsylvania, I will hire him again.

Mitch is extremely personable. He gave me an estimate in a timely fashion and got my roof installation scheduled immediately. He was true to his quote. There were no hidden or extra add on fees. As promised, the installation was complete in a day. He personally did the work on a specific area as he stated he would. Mitch inspected the completed job himself to unsure all was accurate. His price was slightly higher then his competitor's, however his experience, knowledge, mannerism, and hands on was worth it!

I called a few highly rated roofing companies following the last storm to replace some fascia trim and only 2 returned my call for such a small job. Mitch called me back, stopped out to take a look, and gave me a very reasonable quote. He kept in contact as we worked around some poor weather days and got it taken care of. On top of it all, after talking to him a little bit, he's a nice guy too. This is the company you're looking for.

Mitch came out to our house to inspect/evaluate a repair job for us that was done by another company but which we weren’t confident about. He was able to reassure us that the repair was adequate and we were very relieved. Mitch was professional and clearly knowledgeable and we wish we’d found him before the work was done and hired him. He didn’t even charge us for his services!

We called Affordable Roofing to come out to look over a recent roof repair completed by another company. Mitch spent a good forty five minutes on the phone with us, reviewing before and after pics in addition to making two trips out to our place ( first for exterior and a second visit for interior inspection).

He was exceedingly professional and timely in his review. He did point out a few items related to the work done that he would have differently, but was able to reassure us of the basic integrity of the work.

He did all this without charging us. My guess is he spent a total of at least two hours talking with us and reviewing the work.

My only regret in all of this is that we did not contract with Affordable Roofing to do the original work. We have the highest confidence in Mitch’s thoroughness, honesty and professionalism.

We highly recommend him and his company.

I called to get an estimate for either a roof repair or replacement on a summer home. On the same day as my initial call, Mitch said he would go to the house and see what was needed. He said I would have an estimate in my email the next morning. Sure enough, the estimate was in my email not even 24 hours after my initial call. We decided on roof replacement (other roofers also suggested new roof over repair due to so many popped nails/loose shingles, etc). We decided on Mitch because he was so responsive to us. His estimate was so detailed and clearly stated exactly what would occur. Every time I called, texted or emailed, Mitch responded right away. It’s so nice to have a contractor that you can easily get in touch with. By the way, his crew was great and the roof looks perfect (from what I can see anyway).

Called my favorite roofing company to come out and fix some trim and gutters. Just like my first experience with Mitch and his team, they were FANTASTIC to work with: responsive, professional thorough, friendly. Great price again, and the highest quality of work. The house I just bought had a leaking skylight the inspector missed! Thankfully I found Mitch (via Google reviews) from Affordable Roofing. He came out right away, gave me a great price to remove/repair all the leak damage/reshingle so I don't have any more worries when it rains, and fit me into the schedule asap! He is nice, professional, punctual, does quality work, cleans everything up after he's done, he's a pleasure to work with. His prices are great; I had no hesitation when I received the quote in going forward with the work. It's a family owned business which I love to support. I HIGHLY recommend him for any roofing work you need done. Really happy I found his business.

This is a business you can trust which in my book is rare these days. I had a couple estimates before I met Mitch and had Affordable Roofing look at my roof. I had a couple shingles blow off my 12 year old roof during a bad wind storm and after two estimates ranging from $12750 to $22000 Mitch fixed my roof in an hour for a few hundred dollars.

Mitch and his crew are top notch! My soffits, gutters and in turn my attic. were totally open to squirrels, birds and other wildlife! My flat roof was in need of partial replacement, Mitch had some really creative ideas to eliminate soffits that were in an area that was just cosmetic and served no purpose.
( no ventilation to attic in front of house, therefore no need for soffits!)and he had his Carpenter ( yes he has a carpenter he can call in for his “thinking outside the box” creative solutions) come up with a solution that was both aesthetically pleasing and secure from the wildlife! His pricing was more than fair, and I was even reimbursed for materials that were not ultimately necessary to complete the job! He also went through all of the soffited areas that the squirrels were using as a highway circumventing my house, and put barriers up to keep that from reoccurring in future if the tenacious little beasts should find their way in somehow, but he buttoned up things pretty tight, so I feel pretty secure about squirrel, bird, and other incursions in future, but will keep vigilant and call Mitch if needed,but I don’t anticipate any issues going forward! Great Job done creatively quickly and professionally!

I have had many bad experiences with contractors over the years. Lots of stupid ones and just as many crooked ones. Finding a good one is a tough job but one that is necessary. I really hit the jackpot with Affordable. Mitch came out as promised and got up on the roof to inspect and document the hail damage. He circled many spots with chalk, took photo's and shared them with me. Having the photo's made it very easy to deal with my insurance adjustor. Mitch took the time to explain the different grades of the various materials that would be used and helped me make the best choices along the way. When the day to start came, he and his crew were on time. Very courteous and professional. I have a very nice lawn and they took precautions to protect it and there was no damage at all. The entire process went like clockwork. No drama or barking orders - everyone know what to do and when to do it so it was like a well choreographed play. My roof is large and complicated. By the end of day 1, about 2 thirds was done and by 2pm the next day they were finished. Their cleanup was thorough and I can honestly say everything went perfectly. I bought his crew some beer and we sat back and admired their work. I am pleased to recommend this company.
