Great experience with Tim and Affordable Roofing. Our original 27 year old roof redone June 2023, looks great. Happy with the work they did so brought out to do our lake house too. Lots of hidden water damage on that roof but his team addressed it and fixed everything. I would recommend them no matter the size or complexity of the job.

Super fast and they do an amazing job. I would totally recommend them to everyone. I had them replace my roof and I used them again to repair some damage. Both times I couldn't be happier I choose to call affordable roofing. Pick fast, Quality, affordable. Usually u only get 2 out of the 3 but not with these guys its all 3 every time

Tim and his crew did a great job on my roof. Only took a day and a half but he kept me informed of the job as they went. He started and completed when he said they would. I highly recommend his company.

I had Affordable Roofing replace my roof twice. The first time it was because it was old and needed replacing and the second time it was due to hail damage. They had always done, what I felt was a good job at a reasonable cost. When the skylight leaked they always came out in a timely manner and did a repair. For the past 6 months I have been trying to get them to come out and check a leak, but can't get them to answer the phone, and now the ceiling is stained and becoming worse with each rainfall. The one time I did get him on the phone, he said he had been over, but didn't want to come to the door, as he had Covid. Well it is still leaking now worse than ever and still no response. I sure would like to know what has happened to them, because this is definitely not the owner I have done business over the past 12+ years. Is it because the kids are taking over the business?

I decided to do business with a local company to replace my roof. Affordable Roofing started job 3/27/22 and never completed it. They owner came for payment on 3/31/22 and said there was a couple hours of work left to finish up the back side of my house including the Fascia. I pointed out to him a couple items that were done incorrectly and he agreed that it was done poorly by his crew. Prior to starting Tim Mariani the owner confirmed that the bid included new drip edge and gutter apron and this was not installed. I had specifically asked if this was part of the bid and he confirmed in writing. He said he would be back that weekend to finish up and never came back once and would not call or text me back. He kept commenting on how he wanted me to be 100% happy as he is my neighbor here in Elkhorn. DO NOT USE AFFORDABLE HOUSING! Poor quality and no integrity.

The repaid costs for my roof came back at $2,366. This matter is currently before the court. I will be updating the outcome.

4/21/23 update - Tim Mariani was court ordered to pay for my repairs within 30 days or would have to pay me back for the full cost of the roof. All public record though the Wisconsin Circuit Courts site and free to look up.

We recently had Affordable Roofing replace the roof on our barn-style garage in Elkhorn and found that they were very friendly and professional, offering quality work at an affordable price. Would recommend!

Tim did my Mom’s house and garage just before she sold it. It looked great. It sold on a week. Quality work at the best price. I recommend Affordable Roofing to everyone. They get 5 stars. If any review gives less, it probably wasn’t a real customer of theirs.

Tim and Affordable Roofing installed my roof a few years ago. Great job and I also referred him to other projects that he was accepted and completed .
I am also a contractor and had a good relationship with Tim.
Recently I called him and spoke to Tim.
He said he would come out later that day to look at my project and would diffinatly schedule something.
No show, I had to call him, he text back, still no show per text, and will not answer calls after 1 week.
I'm just trying to confirm if yes he will or will not do the small project. I have made my decision not to utilize Affordable Roofing. As a contractor I would not give him another opportunity or refer him to my clients. That puts me in a position I don't want to risk with the possibility they may be treated without professionalism and follow through.

Amazing customer service! Great quality work. Very communicative. I will recommend them to anyone. It was a pleasure doing business with Tim.

Tim did a good job replacing my Roof. Years later I was selling my house. The building inspector questioned the vent placement. Talk to Tim in he was out within A-day with a report saying that the ventillation was good where it was. I really needed that report and he got it to me in a timely manner. Affordable roofing took care of all my needs.

Tim was extremely friendly and willing to work with my time schedule. He arrived quickly and was willing to examine my roof site on scene. He was able to fix the roof the next day and wanted to come back to check to make sure that all of the leaks were fixed. He checked for leaks, found one that we had not spotted earlier, and fixed it immediately. I cannot recommend Affordable Roofing enough for their speed and thoroughness when fixing the leaks that I had.

Update 2023- siding falling off in multiple areas. Tim did come out to address the siding issues once but has not been back since. Still experiencing siding falling off with any slighty breezy days. Sometimes it just falls off on calm days as well. It seems as if the work done by Tim is where there is issues. Areas completed by Joe and Parker seem to be just fine.

I would like to personally thank Tim, Joe, and Parker of Affordable Roofing for the outstanding craftsmanship. Great quality for the best price. After the well needed makeover you guys completed, the house looks newly built. Your swiftness was also impressive. I appreciate that you didn't waste any time and completed the project in such a brief timeline.

Update 2023- siding continuously falling off in multiple places. Contacted Tim about these issues. He did come out once to attempt to fix the mistakes but still experiencing the same issues of siding falling off.

Affordable is right! Best price around! The crew did great work and in a timely manner. Called to get a quote and Tim showed up the next day. Which was surprising because we were located over an hour away. He gave us a quote an started the job within the same week. He was very cooperative and made sure everyone was well informed with what was being done and when. He welcomed questions, concerns, and without hesitation even happily added on other things we wanted done to the to do list as the job progressed. He was nice enough to offer suggestions and information on material choices. Saving us from future issues. Being as we had little to no knowledge of these things, we were very grateful to have chosen this company/crew.

We have had Affordable Roofing fix our roof multiple times and are always impressed with the amazing customer service, professional employees, and low prices. We shopped around for a basic repair and Affordable Roofing was the best option. They are a family owned and operated business that actually cares about their customers, I would definitely recommend for any roofing needs!

This guy ripped us off at a time we were desperate to get a leaky roof repair and didn’t have much money for the repair. He took cash from us.. disappeared and wouldn’t return a phone call. After first rainfall... leak was still there! This guy is a complete crook. Please beware! Do not trust him. He comes across empathetic and caring. Typical scam artist. I’d give him 0 stars if possible! It’s hard to believe he’s still in business. Whatever positive reviews he has here are very likely written by friends or himself!

Tim was very responsive and took care of minor roof issues that came up because we weren't ready to replace the whole roof quite yet. His repairs got us through and then when we were ready to replace the roof he was the obvious choice and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend!

I used Affordable Roofing less then two years ago for a simple recoating on my mobile home. I now have a leak, water coming down the inside of my walls and into the house with mold growing on my ceiling tiles. Since there was supposed to be a warranty, I called. I got an answer the first time and was told he would be there the next day to look at it. Never showed. I called again and left a message. It’s been two weeks now and no response. I’m currently having another roofer look at my roof and he told me that all my seals are terrible. There’s cracking, standing water, and he’s surprised I don’t have more water leaking in at other spots. The overall recoat was done so thin and simply slapped on. He’s literally pulling it off in chunks using only his hand. PLEASE BEWARE!! Look elsewhere for your roofing needs!!!

I really wish I had seen some reviews before I hired Tim to replace my roof, but he was a referral from a good friend. He was very responsive when we were looking to hire him, completed the job in a timely manner and the cleanup was good. However, it’s been less than 6 months since our entire roof was replaced and there is a leak. I’ve called and left messages for the last two weeks, sent text messages as well, but not one return call or text. The work is supposed to be guaranteed, but obviously not. Now we get to pay someone else to fix the job he was paid very good money to do. ****Definitely run, do not walk away from this company!!!!

ONE STAR IS THE LEAST I COULD GIVE, BUT HONESTLY, ZERO STARS FOR ZERO CUSTOMER CARE!!! THE GUTTER STRAPS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF MY HOUSE ROOF WERE NOT RE-ATTACHED AFTER THE OLD SHINGLES WERE REMOVED AND BEFORE THE NEW SHINGLES WERE PUT ON. I DROVE TO TIM'S HOUSE BECAUSE HE WAS NOT RETURNING MY PHONE CALLS; TIM'S HOME IS LESS THAN 5 MINUTES FROM MY HOME. TIM ANSWERED THE DOOR AND TOLD ME HE WOULD BE OVER IN 20 MINUTES TO MAKE THE REPAIR. THAT WAS MONTHS AGO AND STILL NO REPAIR. I CALLED THREE OTHER ROOFING COMPANIES ASKING THEY MAKE THE REPAIR AND NONE OF THEM WOULD. I PICKED UP A ROOFING NAIL YESTERDAY ON MY DRIVEWAY, A REGULAR OCCURENCE. OVERALL, VERY DISPLEASED WITH THE CLEAN UP AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE. I PAID TIM IN CASH, OVER $7000 FOR AN INCOMPLETE JOB. TURN AND RUN!! I REGRET MY CHOICE!!
