Excellent job on a tight time line ! I was the sellers agent and Andrew and team got a new roof on, worked with the City of Lafayette, communicated well and did a fantastic job. They are my go to !!!

We had a hail damage on our roof heavily and Sean Tillotson from Advanced Exteriors really helped us and worked with insurance company smoothly to have our roof replaced quickly and easily. Sean is kind, easy to communicate and really considered our needs. We really appreciate the job and definitely work with Sean’s team in the future.

We worked with Andrew Graves a few years ago and the project went smoothly and the work was professional and timely. Hail damage to our roof brought him back again recently and the repair was again very well handled. So for us, Advanced Exteriors is our first phone call when we need a repair and we've never been disappointed.

These folks have come twice after installing our roof three years ago to fix minor damage from storms. They were on time, polite and clearly know their business.

I had him come out to look at our roof due to the hail storms, and not only was he friendly and professional, but also incredibly thorough. He was able to talk me through every step of the process of what he looked for, and pointed out other areas that had been damaged by hail. He then connected me with contractors for those specific areas, such as paint and windows, and has been immensely helpful in coordinating everything through my insurance company. Andrew from Advanced Exteriors was great to work with. He gave us advanced notice of his arrival, showed up on time, inspected our roof, skylights, and other roof components, clearly explained what needed attention, and offered multiple solutions—including how to prevent future issues. He was knowledgeable and never pushy. We really appreciated the clear communication and informative low-pressure approach. And we look forward to the opportunity to get to work with him again in the future!

Advanced Exterior (AE) originally installed our roofing tiles several years ago. After noticing some issues, we reached out to AE, and their representative promptly assessed the situation. They coordinated with the manufacturer, identified the problems, and ensured the roof was replaced. The AE team provided excellent service throughout the process. We are extremely satisfied with their work and would gladly hire them again. I highly recommend AE for any roofing needs.

There were a number of ongoing communication and coordination / project management issues between Advanced Exteriors and their 3rd party contractors and myself which was painful at times (forcing me to coordinate with contractors directly for AE) otherwise I would give 5 stars for quality of end product/work and office support. I would use them again but request a different project manager.

Jack Defeo came out for an estimate for our full roof replacement. Wanted to see our insurance estimate which is at the discretion of the home owner to provide. We didn't want to provide it. Asked for a fair estimate that you would provide to any customer. Proceeds to not even climb a ladder on our roof to inspect anything and measure. Sends us an estimate after not wanting to answer hardly any questions or take any time with us for $18,000 dollars 2 minutes after he left. Terrible experience!

I was nervous at first, but advanced exterior took care of almost everything. It was great to go this claim with them on my side.

They roofed one our neighbors homes. On the day they where leaving they put their sign up, then walked the neighbors and put a sign on the very corner of their property, making it look like they did both homes.
Problem #1 you did not roof the neighbors.
Problem #2 my buddy Christian, his company did the work.
Problem #3 they hardly spoke English, and they lied to my face when I asked the
about the sign in the property, classy!

From start to finish, Sean Tillotson and Advanced Exteriors did an excellent job replacing our hail damaged roof. From the teardown to the replacement to the leaf-guarded gutters, the work was quickly accomplished and professionally handled, every step of the way. Their cleanup was amazing. Advanced Exteriors repaired hail damage on our home recently and they did a really good job on both the work and the customer service side of things. Ross Laman was our project manager and he was very thorough in explaining the process and what to expect. I am a very busy attorney and was slow to respond on some things, including missing the insurance payments that I was supposed to send to them (!!), but Ross and the team were understanding and incredibly patient with me which I really appreciated. I would use Advance Exteriors in the future!

My HOA hired advanced exteriors after a hailstorm. They did our roof which turned out okay. When they replaced our window screens, they clearly didn't care that the frame was bent when they put the new screen in, so there's a half inch gap, defeating the purpose of having a screen in the window, and it's been this way for over a week. It's not like somebody didn't notice the screen was bent and didn't fit the window!!!

If you need a company to do repairs on an insurance claim this is the company you should use. I used Advanced Exteriors for two of my properties in Colorado when they were damaged by hail. They did all of the repairs in a timely manner and in my case they replaced the roof and repainted both properties. What they quoted me was correct and I only had to pay the deductible. In some cases there was some money left over to do some additional repairs. Their office was always available and returned my calls in a timely manner. This company was recommended by my property manager in Colorado that manages four of my properties. This was an indication to me that they had a history with this company and that they were reliable which in fact they were. They communicated with the appraisers as well as those who did the work and the tenants since I was in California and was unable to be there personally.
Again I highly recommend their services!

Sean Tillotson (our sales rep) was very knowledgeable and very helpful throughout the entire process of having our insurance repairs done on our home…he had great follow through was kind and encouraging throughout the tedious process of working with our insurance company to get our repairs done. My wife and I highly recommend using Advanced Exteriors, and we highly recommend that you ask for Sean to work with you. In short, he was GREAT – Advanced Exteriors was GREAT!

Tyler Martin and his team at Advanced Exteriors did a fantastic job working through a very difficult and intricate insurance claim for our client who's home was listed for sale. He was consistently communicative, prompt, gave good suggestions and went the extra mile to help us help our client navigate through the claim. Advanced Exteriors also stood by their work several times with things went a little wonky, and both our team and client were left feeling very much so taken care of. We would recommend Tyler and his team for anyone who might be dealing with a nuanced insurance claim situation.

These guys have done roofing jobs on a couple of my properties. They are straightforward to work with, it's like pushing the EASY BUTTON, even dealing with the insurance companies!

From the moment we contracted Tyler Martin of Advanced Exteriors my realtors and I felt like our claim issues with insurance were in very capable hands. Tyler is an expert in matters of real estate, inspections, and insurance claims. His depth of understanding is vast and impressive! We had a very tricky situation. Our house was actually on the market at the time and when we went under contract with the buyers Tyler's job became even more complex. He and his team worked on a very large nuanced hail/wind damage claim under significant time constraints. They were sharp, attentive, professional and a pleasure to work with even when we had unforeseen problems with the wide range of repairs. I got the sense that they cared about me as much as they cared about my house. I think this is rare in the world where the bottom line gets absolute priority. I cannot recommend Tyler Martin and Advanced Exteriors more highly.

Sean was our point guy on a huge insurance claim. Our project was pretty complicated with the extent of damage we were dealing with, but he stayed flexible and communicative. The crews they outsourced to were wonderful and have stood by their work. With Sean’s help we were able to have a seamless project on the roof, the stucco, the gutters and trim as well as a bunch of repainting. NEVER EVER EVER used ADVANCED EXTERIOR to have any work done on your roof. We are neighbors to someone who has the home done by them. They crews show up at 530/6 am to get on the house. Crew working till 915 pm last night banging and running generators. Then sat in the front yard until 10 pm last night being loud and making a ton of noise. Tried to start again at 6 am this morning. ‍♀️‍♀️ another issue is there is no communication. Not a single person on the crew speaks any English. We also spent over an hour last night in the dark with magnets cleaning up the neighbors back yard with them so their pets could go out and use the restroom. NOT ACCEPTABLE SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT FROM A CREW AND A COMPANY THAT IS SUPPOSEDLY LOCAL HERE TO COLORADO.

Thanks for your response. That was not the case. They didn’t lose their ride! Your company left a crew on job site for 16 hrs without a ride. The forman dropped them off and never came back. Not only is that unprofessional but let’s talk about the OSHA VIOLATION. As they where without a bathroom for over 16 hours and without a vehicle. We spoke to the forman at 945 pm and he said he would come get them but not until 11pm. Not acceptable! So we told them they needed to leave our families property as it was past quiet hours and legal construction hours. The gas station is less then a 10 min walk. Not one mile!

Advanced Exterior completed the repairs on my house and property after the June 2023 hail storm. Sean Tillotson was exceptional in establishing the repair elements and procedures. He was on every detail and ensured the correct outcome for our situation. Once when one of the gutter replacement was slightly not right, Sean had the repair team there in2 days and they made it right. I would not give them a good review. I made a final payment and I paid the permit fee that they said was not paid. My insurance company said it was and now they will not refund the amount back. They have not been a very prompt when it came to answering my questions. They are all gun ho when trying to get your business, then it all went down hill. Took darn near a year to get the work done. Don't use this company

Superb, responsive, professional. I called due to a chimney flue cap blowing off - with weather rolling in, I urgently needed it repaired. Even though they were swamped with calls, they responded and fixed it the same day. We will be going back to them in the future.

Started off well, as any contractor will to get the business. Installed roof on 1/19 and left hundreds of nails throughout our yard after completion, where our children play, for almost three months before they realized I was not going to pay until they completed the job. We did not receive a single call after we talked to them in late January about cleaning up their work. Despite letting them know their crew did a horrific job cleaning up and we were picking up nails every day, they did NOTHING until a couple guys came by to pick up ladders from the inspection. I had to ask them to sweep the yard for nails and attached is what they found after 10 minutes on 4/11. Their own staff agreed a more thorough job needed to be done but i have yet to hear from them on when this will be done.

Would not recommend this company to anyone I care about.

Advanced Exteriors was great when our roof was installed several years ago. In addition, we recently had a roof problem caused by the winter weather. I called Andrew Graves, and he determined the problem, and fixed it within just a few days. I am totally impressed with Andrew's courtesy and customer service! The folks at Advanced Exteriors are always very professional and timely. They have done a couple roofs for us in the past and done a nice job. This week we just called them to go check the roof of a rental we are selling to make sure we didn’t have a surprise down the road. Jack Defeo at Advanced got right on it and got it done within just a few days. Advanced will always be our first call for roof work in the future.

Great roof, but don't get the gutter guards! A complete waste of money. I have been on a ladder trying to chip away ice/snow buildup all winter, when the purpose of guards was to keep me off the ladder. The company had not interest in helping me with my complaints. I was told to purchase gutter heaters! Seriously?All three of my entrances to the house are inundated with downpour with melting occurs. It's been a nightmare and a waste of $1760.00. I'm honestly considering removing them. Today my house is dripping everywhere, as though I don't have any gutters at all. I feel ripped off. AE had to know this is an issue.

I got my roof work done through advance exteriors, Chris was my POC and he helped me on every step on this process to get the work done. I would definitely recommend AE based on their professional services(5*)

We got hit by the hailstorm in Colorado in May 2023. 1 inch diameter hailstones for 15 minutes. Scary. My daughter was over and her car was in our driveway. It was totaled.
The insurance company sent their guy over to assess the damage and, going through his report, I felt some things were not noted. He argued with me a little bit, as if I was trying to pad it.
Saw a sign for Advanced Exteriors in a neighbor's yard and gave them a call. Sean Tillotson came out promptly. I think it might have been a Sunday. He spent over 2 hours walking the roof and the perimeter and with me pointing out what I had noticed. He wrote it up and the insurance company approved it. All of it. New roof, gutters, windows and screens on the west side, new sliding glass porch door, skylight, and more. The contractors were all good and professional and timely and cleaned up after their work. The claim covered a portion of the paint, but we opted to have the entire house painted by Advanced Exteriors' crew.
Sean Tillitson was our point man through the entire process. Great guy. Smart, detailed, conscientious and friendly.
It was a process, but it all was done in proper order and done well. It might sound like a cliche', but I could not be happier.

In June 2023 my house was hit by a catastrophic hailstorm. Advanced Exteriors Inc. was recommended to me (by word of mouth) I called A&E and the restoration of my home was started. Roof, gutters,siding, painting etc. Sean Tillotson was my project manager. He is a HAAG certified inspector. Mr Tillotson was very professional in his approach. He explained the process every step of the way and even worked and fought with the insurance company to make sure all the repairs on my home were taken care of by my insurance. He was also readily accessible if I had any questions. I was extremely pleased with the work done.

When I had occasion to call the A&E office in Denver, the staff was helpful and courteous.

The office and the crew made this very quick and easy process to get a new roof. The office is extremely knowledgeable about insurance claims and was on top of all the paperwork that needed submitted. They were able to communicate directly with my insurance and mortgage to take care of everything with ease. The crew was extremely talented and professional. They worked quick and left the area extremely clean. Worked fast and efficiently. They did a fantastic job!

I have worked with Chris at AE across numerous projects and they are nothing less than spectacular! I will never use another roof company.

One of their sales rep Tony Turner. Has some really shady business practices. He left a sign under one of our door maps in front of our house saying that this home was already inspected. And that other roofers don’t need to attempt to contact us, as we already have a roofer. I would highly recommend you avoid this company as that is not acceptable and they did not perform any type of evaluation of our home. They have absolutely no business telling other roofers that we are not available to their business. I attempted to upload a photo of the sign. They left under our doormat, but Google would not let me upload it.

We have had lots of rain and we are selling our house. Of course we get a leak through the roof days before closing! I called Andrew on a Sunday praying he would answer on a weekend. He not only answered my call, but he came over that day and looked at my roof. He caulked my windows and didn't even charge me! Can you believe that?! If the leak persists he told us to give him a call. Super grateful for his kindness and responsiveness.

**Update** I called Andrew up again to have the roof inspected for our buyers. He came over and found a slipped tile which he quickly just climbed up on the roof and slipped back into place. And guess what?! Again, no charge! This company is trustworthy, awesome, and would recommend to anyone! 5++ stars!

Andrew is one the most honest and sincere contractors out there. He is costumer oriented and will get the job done with integrity.

I had a leak in my roof that was starting to impact my ceiling. Andrew and Andrew performed an inspection and determined I had a problem with the B-Vent and cap. They sealed around the B-vent and came back later with a new cap. They replaced the cap discovered a problem with the actual vent and it was damaged in the attic. It's an older house so who knows when this happened. Sent picture so I could see the damage. They made recommendations on how to proceed. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, and down to earth. They even replaced a broken attic door! Will use them again!! Thanks for all your help!

Sean Tillotson was our project manager and did a fantastic job. He explained the process thoroughly and was very quick respond. Most of all he wen to bat with the insurance company and got every cent available for us. He is a fine individual and we couldn’t recommend him and Advanced Exteriors enough.

Advanced Exteriors installed some needed flashing on my roof and built a birdbox to keep critters out of my attic. They knew exactly what to do to fix my issues. They also did a roof inspection and informed me that my skylights are looking a little worn and may cause me issues in the near future, but it would save me money if I wait until I replace my roof, which is not needed at this time.
I truly appreciate their honesty. I will be calling them when it is time to replace my roof. Trusting a contractor is doing what is in my best interest will bring me back to them every time! Thank you!!

Our home had roof damage due to a hail storm late July 2022. Andrew G. Was so amazing, and thoughtful. A family member was very ill, and Andrew took additional steps to alleviate any stress to our household during the whole project. The roofing, painting of the house and fence and screen repair was completed, and the entire crew completed their tasks competently and thoroughly cleaned up at the end of the project. With Andrew as project manager, I was completely at ease with his workers on my property. In addition, he explained the entire process and helped me with the paperwork and in general made the entire process as effortless for me as possible. Advanced Exteriors replaced our roof for us in Fall 2021, installing a Da Vinci Bellaforte Shake roof. We waited until we got through at least a season so we could better report on our results.

The roof itself is beautiful, and has performed well this winter. We have noticed that some Da Vinci roofs, if installed without sufficient snow guards, can shed snow and ice suddenly from the roof, which can cause significant damage to landscaping and injury to pets and humans. Advanced Exteriors did an excellent job planning and installing not only the roof, but the snow guards. We had no significant shed issues the entire winter, despite lots of snow this season.

When the roof was installed, we noticed some items that we brought to the attention of our project manager. All our issues were carefully listened to and listed, and after their own inspection, they found a few other minor issues that they added to the list. Every item on the list was addressed in a timely fashion and to our satisfaction.

We couldn't be happier with our new roof, and we give a big shout-out to our team, especially Gary and Chris. We would recommend them to anyone.

**Update** It is now 2024 and we were having radon mitigation done in our basement. We opted to have the contractor route the piping through the garage to avoid having the associated fan and piping visible in our back yard. Because of our Da Vinci roof, the contractor indicated we would need to engage a roofer to reseal the hole that would be made in the garage attic/roof. The contractor was very skeptical that we could make it work, indicating that it can be really difficult to get a roofer to respond on such a small job. But one call to AE was all it took. Andrew was immediately on board, was very flexible with the timing to meet the contractor's needs, and even had the office call the day before to confirm the appointment. The roofing worker showed up exactly on time, worked with the contractor, and got the job done as promised. No muss, no fuss, no biting fingernails hoping they'd show. Couldn't be happier. Thank you, Andrew!

My roof is in need of repair and they refuse to guarantee they're warranty with us because they where offended by what my husband said to them. It's obvious they where looking to start a verbal altercation and use it to get out of having to repair the poor workmanship. My husband is a disabled veteran who served our country and has suffered due to an injury occurred on a Jump. This company treats veterans as poorly as the install a roof. Do not use this company. Save yourselves the headache. The company tried to deny doing business with us after getting a hold of the BBB. Proof was sent to the BBB of our purchase of a new roof and their illegal discrimination practice.

Major hail damage happened where I live in 2018, lots of contractors knocked on our door - including AE. The salesman was real slick. I signed with them to reside our house, replace roof and gutters, and several other items. AE met my insurance adjuster at my house, AE hid some siding we had replaced the year before, as it matched the original siding & AE didn't want to adjuster to see how well it matched. Insurance balked at paying for entire house to be resided as only two sides had damage. A private insurance adjuster was bought in to try to get more coverage. That is another story - there is a definite collaboration between these 2 companies. I pay the adjuster, but AE reimburses me. It took over 6 months to go through this process, during this time, we only received updates when we asked. Work to replace our roof began without any notice. Several weeks later, insurance agreed to replace the siding on all sides of our house. After the work was done, we requested several items to be fixed - it happened grudgingly. Some items were "subcontracted" back to us. All of these issues were also happening at my neighbors house across the street, as I managed their repair work while they were out of town. Same private adjuster, same lack of communication. AE did not do any additional work without wanting more money - even change a light fixture. The salesman gossiped about neighbors, tried to be my buddy, and was greedy. They did not get the required siding permit from the city until I insisted on it. AE argued with us about trim not being available in the color we wanted. As you can see in the picture, this is trash I picked up after they came back to clean up. I continue to find nails and trash. In the end, the work was complete and the company wanted all overhead and profit we received from the insurance company, even though they did not perform the work. I refused to pay it. ($700 out of $40K) In return, they refuse to give me any documents regarding work done on my house or any warranty coverage - which is fine as I would not have them do any work on my house ever again. Overall, they used all contractors for the work. I would not work or recommend AE to anyone who would like their hail damage repair to be a smooth, easy experience.
They also tried to get me to sign a letter they wrote stating I knew the owner personally, never met him, have it notarized and send it to the City of Littleton so AE's license could be renewed and were furious when I would not lie.
Response to owner - I'm unhappy with AE, not the insurance process. If you want to do something, send me my product warranties.

update: 9/2020 - siding job was faulty - need work done and still finding debris from job! As to their request I call the office - we had many exchanges and I still do not recommend them!

update: 10/2022 - siding is coming off and as stated above, they will not fix it or give me the information of the installer
